The 3080ti is still powerful enough for VR. I tested it with meta quest 3. Tho I would suggest that you upgrade ur CPU min to 5800x3D.

I got offered one Zotac Trinity 3080Ti 12GB for 350USD . (mined) Should I get it ? Im scared about my PSU 750W Gold - not being enough maybe ? Or scared VRAM temps go too high and it will burn ? TY 👍❤
@@cocosloan3748 dude 350 is very cheap for a 3080ti. Just check the gpu temps before the the purchase to know its condition. 750w is enough. What cpu do you have there?

@@cocosloan3748 5600x is a very low power cpu. You can easily use that 750w with the rtx3080ti(if the gpu is fine itself)

Which should i choose? #1 I7 13700f with rtx 4070 or #2 ryzen 5 7500f with rtx 3080 ti, the #1 is $107 more. Please helppp
It depends on your gaming resolution. 1080p to 1440p #1 was perfect and they're new. #2 can be used for 4k but the newer games can't run on native 4k by upscalling and dlss #2 was fine with 4k. Imo #1 is best 4070 & 13700f. Just with few more bucks you can also replace 4070 with the ti version. Or you can even pair amd cpu with nvidia GPU. Or you can even get 7900xt.!
I7 13700 is pretty good cpu. Better than ryzen 5 7500f. So stick to the i7 and you can go with 4070. Or add a few bucks and get 4070 ti or and 7900 xt. It's all according your budget. And yeah 7900xt is capable of 4k gaming pretty well. Congratulations bruh for the upgrades/pc setup

3080Ti cards don't have enough VRAM for 4K RT for the latest games, but the GPU part is beefy and powerful, best ray tracing from NVIDIA Ampere (3090 and 3090Ti are basically the same).
Yeah I haven't tested in the most recent titles, would be interesting to see how it performs on Ratchet and Clank, Remnant II and Immortal of Aveum.
It doesn’t matter coz it can’t handle RT anyway and doesn’t have frame gen, only 40 series is good for RT coz of frame gen, 30 series can only handle a few games with RT implemented well but for the most part, it’s a gimmick unless you get a 40 series card.
@@George-um2vc 3080Ti can do path tracing on Cyberpunk 1080p at 40-50ish fps.
Has more tensor cores than a 4070Ti. NVIDIA did a soft-lock of frame generation to Ada Lovelace despite Ampere being very capable.

Hey Wil! Again, good to see new content dude. This is very cool demonstrating the 3080ti running on 4k in 2023. I see also your CPU is the 7950X! My rig is still an AM4: 5800X3D with RTX 4080, 16gb RAM @ 3600mhz. 1440p high to ultra settings in gaming. Some may say: "oh, is the AM4 platform bottle-necking the 4080"? I would say...NO, it is not. The performance with the X3D cache chip is flawless...having said that, YES a 7800X3D cpu and platform, with the DDR5 ram would provide more FPS. We'll see...meaning I'm not upgrading until I feel it's necessary to! I have a 32" inch, curved 1440p 144hz monitor, which in terms of gaming and just even day-to-day browsing does a great job. I've been considering a 34" Ultra wide 165 hz...LG makes some great monitors of this kind..or even a 4k monitor, which are pretty pricey (even OLED gaming monitors, another option!). upgrade to I7 soon 14th gen is coming and that generation will be a refresh of 13th gen which was already a refresh of 12th gen therefore the 7xx Motherboards will stay the same in those 3 generations

@@George-um2vc b560 motherboard only works for 10th and 11th gen cpu's you need to get a B760 mobo at least then if you want to stay on DDR4 ram then find a mobo with has DDR4 at the end that means that this mobo will not support ddr5 but will support ddr4 instead
@@KamiKazeD cool thank you, I think I will stick with my current system for a couple years since the 11600k is still great for gaming, plus almost every new game is unoptimised so what would I really be upgrading for at this point, when the industry is in a better place I will likely just do a completely new build, thank you for your time.

I have an i9-1300KS RTX 3080Ti, and I'm not changing anything until the 50 series cards drop. I'm not getting bamboozled this go-around. I'm okay with pushing high 4k with over 70 FPS at almost anything I play. Not to mention, it's only the most demanding games that this happens with. I'm not spending $2,000 for a 4090 when, as soon as I buy it, they're going to drop a 5090 Super Ti Titan Titanic True Turbo Tornado at five times the speed of the 4090. Nope, I have had enough of this bullshit. My eyes can't even see that many damn frames.

@@WiLcreatives You got my sub. I can understand a 4090 from a business perspective, but for the average gamer, it ain't necessary, and they keep on with these rebrands, lol. Ti used to mean that was the best unless there was a rare card like the Titan, but now they add super after the Ti.

@raivons I have a reason for 4k, though. When I say bamboozled, I'm talking about releasing one card with 10GB VRAM, then a month later dropping the same card only with 12GB, then again with 16GB. They ensure you always compromise by offering just a little bit more. My point, though, is that when something new drops, people act like yesterday's best is outdated. This is particularly bad with tech consumers. I know people still rocking a 1080ti and loving it.
Sold my 3070 rog strix for 400 eur, bought manli 3080ti for 430 which here in middle eastern europe is a great buy. Undervolted and oced for great experience on 2k, 144hz while using evga g3 650w psu and ryzen 5800x. 🤭, so far no hiccups
