The original song was a go-to for edgy AMVs back in the old days of RUclips (before the 2010s). I really like this one, with a remixed cover no less! Feels good.
It's almost metaphorical in a way.. the original song was a little more depressing, a little more edgy. This newer version is a little more upbeat, positive. For me at least I feel it shows the transformation I've undertaken, going from an edgy teenager to a man who is proud of his past, mistakes and all.
