Just had a 4-4 game where I got scored on by a rebound, a bad pass by my opponent that went off my defender’s leg right to the opponent’s striker. The third goal was my fault on a mis-timed offside trap l. The fourth… ah man another 90th minute EA special where he’s sprinting down the wing, cuts in, I play my keeper out to block the pass because I know that’s what he’s doing. His attacker is near the by line, has no angle as he’s surrounded by my keeper, my LB while my CB appears to be in position to cut off the passing lane. There’s no way he’s completing this pass right? Nope! His player gets a sliding animation to hook the pass back to his striker Kane while my goalie’s down and out and my CB moves out of the way. These games were never like this. BRING BACK FIFA 12. I’ll pay a grand if EA put that game online. Oh yeah none of my goals were from rebounds or crap. 3 goals were from calculated passing plays mixed with a couple of basic skills. The other goal on a penalty shot where his defender slide tackled my striker (Haaland) from behind on a play where no one else was around. Red card right? Nope. Yellow! That penalty would’ve made it 4-2 with a red card for my opponent but that’s current FIFA/EAFC in a nutshell folks. I’m fkn done with this game. What a waste. Going back to just Madden this year.
EA if they're a serious company should nerf defensive AI. Nerf trivelas for those without the playstyle like they did w finesse. Nerf 5 back and constant press situation w s*** rebounds
The tactics change this year was literally just an attacking nerf. Barely any of the roles actually change how players play and their defensive and attacking roles are tied together. Momentum bs.

Idk what anyone says the game is 10x better for me. I feel I can actually attack. Before the patch I literally stopped playing the game and waited for the patch to come in. Won all 5 champs qualifiers and the game felt a lot better in attack
