Big time appreciative for you taking the time to make the video. Just changed the bulbs on my "new to me," 32k miles 2015 Pathfinder Platinum. I'm comfortable taking panels off on vehicles, but seeing where those darn tabs are before u do it the first time is definitely helpful. Thanks again!! Oh yeah, I'm loving my Pathy!!!!
Thank you! It went almost exactly like you said on my 2014 pathfinder. I had an extremely hard time getting my very large hands into the space where the bulb holder was, but, judicious use of water pump and needle nose pliers solved that problem. Also, I didn’t take the panel completely off, so, that might be a time savings for some people. Can you believe a highway patrolman stopped me just for this one thing? But, he was extremely courteous and I appreciated that he was working on Christmas Eve. Thanks again for a great video and a great help!
Just wanted to say thanks, I used this video as a guide to swap out my license plate bulbs, but for another similarly-sized Nissan model, Terra. Saw how similar the Pathfinder's rear door trim was in your vid and figured giving it a go. General steps are 💯 same: remove fasteners, unclip from top going along the sides (I used a cheap car trim removal toolkit), unclip the hand grip thingy, then a good tap from the top part dislodges the whole thing. Awesome video guide overall, clear and easy to follow. Cheers

Great video. My son and I just changed the bulbs on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. You saved us both the money and time from having to take the car to the mechanic. Thanks and I'm now a new subscriber 🙂
One of my License plate lights went out on my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, so I will be changing them both to LED lights. Your video makes it look easy to do.
If you didn’t know, this applies to a 2015 Infiniti QX60 as well. Thanks for the bud. Great stuff and saved me a major catastrophe for such a simple bulb replacement!
Thanks for this video! One of the bulbs went out and I decided to put in LEDs. Only issue was turning the lights in place. My hands didn’t fit so well so it was a pain getting them on and off. But other than that with your instructions it was really quick. Thanks again
I'm so glad you posted this.👍 This also works on the 2018 nissan murano. I thought I was breaking something until I saw your video. Thank you again. This helps👍
Good video friend !!! 👍 You helped me change the incandescent lights on my 2013 Pathfinder. I changed the interior and license plate lights with your help.
Thank you for this great tutorial and many others. I just finished replacing the license plate lights with the same LED lights that you used. The lights are really bright but the con side of it is that it is impossible to set/adjust the bright sides to shine directly on the license plate.
This video helped alot. My 2013 was just a tad different.... but it still was the best video and made for a quick project done properly the first time around (which is a rarity for me). Thanks!!!
Thank you super quick swap out. I unfortunately bought blue LEDs not realizing how bright and blue they would be. So I'll be swapping them out again in a day or so
Great video, as usual. Would really like to see a similar video on LED bulbs upgrade for a 2017 Infinity QX60, your videos are very helpful for all car enthusiasts that follow your channel
I just upgraded my 2018 by watching Nexus's videos. Really easy except the license plate ones which are a bit tricky, nothing to be worried about if you are careful with the tabs by not pulling too hard and snapping them. ruclips.net/channel/UCrvA5FlcSvwU-fH32QnNijQ
Good day, I have a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum and I need to adjust the right passenger headlight bulb. It's aiming to the right and not straight ahead, do you have any idea of how I can reallign the headlight?
These headlights don't have adjustments for right or left, only up & down. If you beam pattern is off to a side, did you incur any damage to your front end for this to happen?
You can change the dome light to LED, but you can't change the map light as they are factory surface mount LEDs on a circuit board. ruclips.net/video/oUckxvRLA2I/видео.html
@@onexnine I have not tried it but I pulled the overhead console down and saw a small circuit board that is plastic welded to the console. At the end of the day, anything is possible including swapping out led on a board, but for me, that might be something I will do at a later date.
Man, that's a lot of work just to replace a license plate light bulb... You sure you couldnt do it by unscrewing the light receptacle from the outside.? Your lights look like they have screw on either end...Thats what i had to do when i did it for my tucson.
For Nissan vehicles, this is pretty much the normal procedure. Many of the Honda, you can access from the outside by removing the lens. It all depends on the design.
Did it on my 2014 Pathfinder took me like 15 minutes tops ... only bad thing about it I broke the grab handle at the bottom edge of the Tailgate (cheap plastic)
Unfortunately it’s not that easy even for Infiniti QX60. Gotta undo the whole thing, but honestly, it takes about 5 mins or less. I did it and it didn’t take that long at all. It seems a lot, but it’s really not in the end.
Holy, wish they just made it accessible from the exterior, like my manual 2012 hatchback versa, which doesnt even require you to open the trunk whatsoever. Seems like Nissan wants people to make trips to their local mechanic lol

🙄 What was Nissan thinking?? My Armada is mega simple - the pathfinder you need to be a surgeon to change the bulb.
Wow, this could've been very difficult without such easy to follow instructions.
Thank you!

THANKS A LOT the way you explain makes it so easy
What a freaking pain in the ass to change. But your instructions are very simple..
I would advise anyone replacing these to get the lifetime warranty Sylvania led bulbs

Great tutorial. How would you replace the actual housing? I'm guessing there's clips you can squeeze to remove the housing itself?
Is there any other way of Replacing the light bulb?
Outstanding! This would have been at least $100 at the dealer.
🇨🇴gracias no sabía cómo extraer esa parte de la Nissan Murano viene igual y me parecía que podía romper algo. Gracias por su video
Perfect… Thank you!!
How do you remove the whole housing of the license plate light? I need to change mine the plastic cover from the outside.
Thanks for your help! Easy to follow!
Where can I get these led bulbs from
Just replaced these on my 2015 pathfinder but I can’t get them to come on now? I even put dielectric grease on the bulbs, but that didn’t work either.
I bought new lenses that have led instead of replacing the bulb. My question is how can I remove the lens assembly. Thanks!
Helpful. Thank you!😊
Your video helped out a lot. Thank u sir!!
You should know where is power inverter 12 to 120V located in this car?
Excellent video.
Well done. Thank you.
Great video!
Have to do this to my truck! Leds are much better

Is it the same for a 2015 Pathfinder ,?
Well done
Does this void warranty
You aren't modifying anything , just swapping the bulbs. Can't void your warranty for that
Thank you
When took my PF for maintenance at the dealership, they quoted me $31+tax for each for a total of about $65 for two.
Thanks for the awesome video, I will go ahead and order them from amazon. Great job
I was needing to change the hatch release button, the housing where the bulbs are, can you gain access to that this same way
Yes it is held in place by two bolts
