    Just watched the full video, again appreciate you for doing this hard work and in depth analysis, it really helps out a lot, especially with the way you broke it done. And I think the thing I definitely need to improve on is making more of tactical moves when I start to lose or even win, that's why my game is inconsistent, I just get lost in the thoughts. Really insightful video, thank youuu!

    My opinion: Most of the proplayers should have a similar pushinggame in terms of quality ( pushing is not that hard ) but what Aruna truly makes stand out that he is able to read services extremely well, if he had a better backhand he could capatalize on that skill so much more

    I watched the game live on youtube and I do not agree with your analyses. I will watch again and look deeper into it. You are right, that Aruna changed his game but the main reason why this match turned in Arunas favor was not Arunas change but Hugos change in tactics. Hugo played different placements in the first two sets AND he played often slower spinny first topspins which gave Aruna a lot of problems, he didn´t do that anymore from end of third set on (extreme example 8:7 where he opens hard instead of slow). So 2,5 sets Hugo playing tactically perfect against Aruna and 2,5 sets Hugo playing Arunas game.

    • @Looeelooee
      @Looeelooee  3 месяца назад

      I think it's a little bit of both. Hugo changed his shots because Aruna mixed up his placement and was really quick to identify Hugo's most common tactics against each shot

    19:20 you completly miss wher he gona put ball.. i like this concept of videos, but try to do it better.. its completly logic he going diagonal.. also next point completly logic he will play paralel
    And not diagonal.. the ball is way to far for Calderano to play diagonal. Calderano played paralel becouse Aruba was close to the table and no time to recover from that difficult early shot, so Calderano just shoot him.

    • @Looeelooee
      @Looeelooee  4 месяца назад

      I don't understand your comment could you explain specifically and in detail what you mean?

    • @fortitude1208
      @fortitude1208 4 месяца назад

      @@Looeelooeefor example this point on 20:55 you told its not logic he going paralel, and for me its more easy to play paralel becose you need less time and movement for paralel then diagonal in this situation… and watch again how Aruna standing close to the table and he have realy difficult shot his hand is high behind his head… he have no time to prepare for next stroke.. and Calderano see it so he played paralel and literay hit him… pardon my English.
      Keep good content. There are good stuff like dept of ball and placement, and some other things i learned.. can you tell

    • @Looeelooee
      @Looeelooee  4 месяца назад +1

      No problem and yes this point where Aruna played the really bad forehand he was gambling. His gamble doesnt work every time but it works enough of the time for it to be a good play for him. And of course Calderano is a really good player too so he notices a lot of things that he can exploit in arunas game. It's a tough concept but in addition to the most common / easiest angles for the opponent to play Aruna is also focusing on calderanos specific tendencies at the same time and that's where his tactics are coming from.

    Aruna ist just lucky that there is no competition in Africa and he get a lot of points, because nobody is playing in African tournaments

    • @3dprintworld503
      @3dprintworld503 4 месяца назад +2

      There are a few pretty good african players, but Aruna's just good. Besides the fact that table tennis isn't as established a sport in Nigeria, compared to most european or asian countries, he's consistently top 20 (currently ranked 14) meaning that he's just that good. You can't just become top 20 by luck, u actually have to be good for that.

    • @ravanpee1325
      @ravanpee1325 4 месяца назад

      @@3dprintworld503 He's consistently top 20, because the ITTF rankings overvalue African tournaments where the competition is far far lower in comparison to European or Asian/Chinese tournaments, but you get the same points for the world ranking. He's the big fish in the small African sea..

    • @Looeelooee
      @Looeelooee  4 месяца назад +3

      @ravanpee1325 Table tennis is one of the most popular sports in Nigeria and is also starting to be hugely popular in other African nations. This has to be one of the most ignorant comments I've ever read and part of me hopes you're joking but sadly I think you may be fully serious.
