- June 2019, I had the opportunity of being the keynote speaker at the annual conference of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization in Calgary, Canada. Theme: How to excel as a diasporan.

I was actually expecting a standing ovation too.
Sadly, It’s still sometimes difficult for us to appreciate our own, especially when she spoke her truth the way she did. Plus she’s not a Dr. Something!!!!

Thanks Adeola, you’re correct to say that the greatest achievement is touching other people’s lives. I have been in the USA for 27 years and it dawned on me to touch some orphans, I’m not a rich man but I started Mother Felicia Orphernage and Older Adult home. 3 employee caring for 11 children given to us by Ondo state and a 9o years old woman who never had her own child. I’m more fulfilled with this. This helps me too to visit my home town 2ce a year. Thanks again

This amazing talented lady is so many experiences packed in one person but one stands out. She had a good Father. She is giving back because she saw Daddy giving back. She is strong because Daddy was an example of strength. She is out there touching lives because that is at the heart of what her father did. He has departed but we see his influence. My take home from this video is to keep it real like her Dad, like my Dad too and to be remembered for the lives I touched and not just degrees or cars or money or buildings. Thank you.

I am a lawyer,a banker,a RUclipsr,married with 3 little hyperactive sons.. many days i sleep tired and wake up more tired... wen pregnant,i work till my 40th week and go have my babies straight from the office... many times i go to the office from the hospital cs all the kids are ill..and i have to work almost everyday 7am to 7pm.. do i get exhausted and feel like going crazy YES!!!!!!

My first job was to work with FedEx in their shipping and packing facility when I relocated to the USA. Body aches wouldn't allow me to receive my first pay check. Today, I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner. Everyone has a story but being focus, determination and consistency are the keys. Thanks Adeola.

@@tuforu4 That type of job is not suitable for women but I have to survive. It was so hard. So, I felt sick and the Doctor said it was a generalized body pain due to stress.

We complain of not yet having enough but do we know, as she rightly said, somebody will be ready to trade place with us in what we called a small home, enjoy traffic in that car you called not good enough,be happy in that Job that we claimed to have had enough of, - find a way to help that family/friends in need that you distance yourself from because you ASSESSED them as dysfunctional/delusional.
We came to the world with nothing and we'll leave with nothing but inbetween those two nothings, God placed something in our hands.
Your touch may not be heavier than that of a feather but it can be loaded with DESIRE/LOVE.
