That’s what I thought too. Just like Ryan Homes we have in the Midwest. All appearances give the same budget look and feel. Just saying; not trying to troll.
Looks good. And I love that the houses aren’t stacked on top of one another like out here in California. My wife and I are thinking of moving out to Tennessee. Any issues along the lines of the so called “nightmares” that some people have with DR Horton homes? What part of Tennessee did you move to?
We have had issues with our home but they are minor compared to living in a communist state. We love Tennessee and miss CA 0%! The main problem is that the homes are put up so fast so it’s important to get a home inspection before moving in and maintaining a direct line of communication with DR.
It’s honestly been a fine house. We have certainly enjoyed living here. I know there’s some negative stuff out there about DR but truth be told our whole neighborhood seems to be happy with their homes as well! My only suggestion is to be very thorough on the inspection with DR and document everything, no matter how minor, that needs to be looked at upon purchase. We also paid for a 3rd party home inspection as well. Good luck and I hope you get the house you want!
Would you mind sharing which development this is? We were just in Knoxville TN area looking at the dr Horton. We live in the Central Valley in CA and we too felt like we couldn't find anything existing we liked so we are trying to decide if we want to go this route. Our problem is which area to go to. A few of their developments are almost sold out.
Our development sold out long ago but it’s a very small one (21 homes). We love it! It’s nice having good neighbors and living in a house where everything is new and it works 👍🏼If you’d like to know specially where we are located please send me a message via Instagram @mr_walker_wbhs
We met in person with a DR sales rep in TN, agreed on a price before it was built. Thankfully 🙏 my wife put us on a waiting list before we really considered buying one. If we didn’t buy it there were plenty of folks waiting….hope you guys find a house in the area you want to live!
@@offroad8055 thanks! We have found one and are just waiting for our house to sell. Luckily Horton had agreed to put theirs under contract with us on the contingency of our current home selling. However, we only have til March 3 to get a contract on ours. Wish us luck! And welcome to Tennessee!
@@thekellieray Thank you!!! We love it here…and we are not in TN to change anything…only here to live free, be good neighbors, and contribute to such a wonderful community.
Good Luck on getting repair’s done; will find appliances & windows are junk; hope they insulated, many DR Horton Homes they were very skimpy or didn’t insulate at all. Many are suing DR Horton for faulty construction.
Haha! You crack me up 😂 Yep, graveyard right behind us… but definitely much quieter neighbors than the drug dealer, meth heads, and folks who somehow loved fireworks 12 months a year in CA. We are blessed to be here…I’ll never take it for granted.
Back yard view to die for.
😂I’ve yet to hear that one!😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Is the neighborhood still standing because I hear the structure of those homes are bad.

I wish you luck!
Very nice! Congratulations on the move!
Thanks! It’s been a crazy adventure!
I see trouble on the way
Awesome crib. Congrats 👍🏼
Thank you! We are loving Tennessee!!!
Will be nice once it’s cleaned and organized.
I love y'all's house 🏡 it's nice
Thank you! We love it too! Jus gonna ignore all the haters.
Beautiful view of graveyard.

Man, it’s messy already.
Apartment carpet and closet shelves from 20 plus years ago. This is a video from 2021?
😂

We are looking at buying a Horton. Can I ask, did y’all make a lower offer than what they have it priced at online and if so was it approved?

Did you experience any of this personally?? Or only giving advice on here say?@@flashnmb1
This looks pretty close to a Ryan Home.
Is this Maryville by chance?
Are you still enjoying it? Good quality??
Yes we love it! A few little issues needed attention but they have taken care of it👍🏼
At least they will be quiet until Jesus Christ comes back then those graves will open up.
Before I look at the comments I bet most are about poorly built homes
Our house has been solid. No complaints whatsoever 👍🏼
What model is this home.?
Salem
A mans clothes closet🎉🎉🎉🎉
Definitely!!! One whole bedroom upstairs is dedicated entirely to my wife’s clothes/shoes/accessories 👍
That company went cheap on the closet shelves.
The sheathing is thermo ply. Yikes.
Is that a graveyard?

@@offroad8055 I’m just messing with you. You have a beautiful home. I’m happy for you.
According to my YT algorithm, DR Horton homes suck.
Right so many bad videos about them.
That's because they do a lot of terrible work.
I don't care if it's your house or not, show up with proper footwear !
😂
