I notice you do not use any heat pad around any of the bins on your shelf,....or light bulbs in your bins? You do not even have lids on your bins? Do you keep your room at 90 degrees? I notice a space heater on the floor.
use a hair drier to blow the shell away on a cool setting to stop the roaches sweating. works a treat but makes a mess so do it somewhere where it can be cleaned easily
yes they can stay together, we seperate so that we can sell various sizes and its easier when u have a box of roaches all onesize. some ppl seperate so they can get a certain size to feed their reps
I have a Dubi roach colony now for about 2 months, I have heard that it's best to take out the baby's soon as they are born. Do you think I should take them out or leave them in. I am wanting the colony to grow, what should I do

I forgot to ask - what size holes do you drill into your sorting bins? I'd like to keep my adults and almost-adult nymphs together, as well as a tub for mediums (to feed from) and then smalls to grow.
providing they were all new adults then you would be looking up to 27,000 nymphs at this point the first batch of nymphs would also be hitting adulthood. however to get these results everything would need to be perfect food, humidity, temps and so on Tony
I dont seperate male female until they are adults, however if you wish to do it you have to hold the roach on its back and look at the last segment on the abdomen. If its small and pointy its a male and large and rounded a female, to do lots of them its time consuming hense the reason I wait until they are adults
To the uploader, is it a lucrative business to breed/raise and (I'm assuming) sell roaches like this? Does it have to be this partcular species (dubia) that buyers most often want to purchase, or did you just choose this kind because they are easier to manage than other types of roaches?
How many males and females would I need to get a good colony going for a baby bearded dragon? Atm I'm buying 400 small ones which are only last 2 weeks max
can i feed it to ducks in duck farm instead of giving them chemical protein ? can they transform for waste from restaurant groceries to protein so i can give it to ducks ?
Can you tell when they are say, medium size? They all look round to me..LOL. Also, I had 4 beautiful males, but they disappeared, where did they go? Do the females eat them?? Like spiders??
when i get a chance il do a video on sexing for you. as far as your males go they must have escaped roaches wont eat eachother unless they have no choice and then its usually the dead. if they are low in protein then the males tend to have their wings nipped tho
I don't mean to contradict knightreplica but you should always have more females than males, a ratio of about 4 or 5 females to every male would work. Otherwise the males end up hassling the females so much it interferes with breeding, also all those extra males will consume a LOT of food needlessly. Hope this is helpfull :-)

why do you sort the different sizes? do you have to or can you leave all the different sizes in one tub?

I had them from carphone warehouse when i worked there they are just shipping crates so i assume you can buy them anywhere
yes no lids on our dubia due to volumes we carry would produce too much humidity. never have escapes. they can not climb or fly
use the holes below as the 5th instar are about the same size as adults

Otherwise the males end up hassling the females so much it interferes with breeding, also all those extra males will consume a LOT of food needlessly. Hope this is helpfull :-)
