An excellent reaction. I am proud to live in a country that is grown up enough to show such adverts. I have watched a number of American reactions to these adverts and many of them are angry and disagree with the extreme nature - you, like many British (and European) are grown up enough to see that these adverts were made this way to help people. If there were more Americans like you two, then America would become closer to the Utopia it thinks it is now.

British adverts can really be thought provoking in a Wide Range of topics all year round, like for example the “ Felix “ cat food brand has recently been having a former band member of a global known pop group. As a British national citizen, I can remember looking at these kind of advertising campaigns as part of our English curriculum in ways of how the use of words and phrases to videos as to how they targeted a specific audience same with leaflets and other forms of advertising to how long a a Tv and radio advertisement is depends on how much the budget is set at. Like in October it’s alcohol awareness, Autism Awareness, or others like the RSPCA , BHF ( British heart foundation) all use different types of marketing to promote there’re different causes.

Not all the PSAs are as serious as this there's a few light hearted ones the Coastguard (Joe and Petunia) one - oh look they're waving at us Petunia 🙄😆 - and the bed time routine (Fire Safety) reminding us to switch everything off at night are quite amusing while getting the message across

As a Brit - I do appreciate these adverts they need to be hard hitting but for reference they are not very common on UK TV channels - they do crop up but very rarely. it's tricky because a lot of the issues being addressed are very much for adults to deal with and you really don't want your children (or young children) seeing and 'over-thinking' them.

19:23. She's right, I remember something at Scott's daughter stead in the Marvel movie Ant-Man and the wasp: Quantummania. "Just because it's not happening to you, doesn't mean it's not happening somewhere" and in an episode of the boys around season 3, episode 6. "You didn't care about all the people you hurt back then, now all of a sudden you care when it happens to you."
Hearing stuff like that is very thought-provoking, and it makes you think about the decisions you make in life, and the things you either let happen, or the people you hurt because of what you either didn't care about, or you were just being careless in your own behavior.

Barnardo's is a British charity founded by Thomas John Barnardo in 1866, to care for vulnerable children.
#1 put that Syria one over the top of the Ukraine, and just think how many children are living that right now, and for what? Political and diplomatic failures on both sides that should and could have avoided this, if both sides were willing to consider the consequences... and it is ALL political now, it could be possible to create a peace with some give and take, but NO how many more need to due before the same thing will happen eventually...

Everyone should take first aid and life saving courses. If you keep them up, you’ll know how to handle a lot of these kinds of situations. I volunteered for the Victim/ Witness Support program and helped in various similar situations. We did training for one weekend every 3 months. I have found that training and experience very helpful in dealing with many different crises. The first time I actually had to do something was when I was 13. My experience as a child of Salvation Army officers was helpful in getting me through and involved with this stuff.

Yeah, I think we should teach it in schools. Surely we could sacrifice an RE or PE lesson once every few months.
