even though this video was posted over a year ago, I just recently found this video, and every time I watch it, I can feel God's presence clearly leading me to fast and to pray that my own heart, my own family, my own church, my own city, my own state, my own country, and this entire world are lit with revival fire. and Prophet Damon's idea about turning your own bedroom into a hothouse for the harvest is such a good idea that I've been doing just that to my bedroom.
Man I remember that summer.. I remember worshiping next to you James..lol I remember just every bit of that summer..this was my first time to ever walk in that building..and It threw me into a place of prayer and seeking ....and just having a history with God now!..
amazing video. its so true about creating that environment where we can control the temperature. God is also present, but our surroundings can be the biggest distraction.
Yea, this is not about music, lights or hype. It has always been and will continue to be about seeking the Lord for our Nation and believing Him a great awakening.
@cheerforcms My study of revival seems to indicate thats the exception and not the rule. God seeks those who earnestly seek Him. BTW a 5th of that town shows up on Sunday nights, and they arent even a church. Does a 5th of the town show up to your church on a sunday night.
@dropzer0schecter the facts are that we have swung in the entire opposite direction. Instead of suffering anything at all for our gospel, we now have comfy pews and cappuccino bars in the lobby. I dare speak a word against the Holy Ghost, but we must take note that the false prophets of Baal could shout, scream and make a lot of noise. Their incense was a stench in the nostrils of God. That young lad touched my heart, but when God raises up a vessel of recovery it is often a lot different to what we expected. We must know God is in "the still small voice" and not miss His move. Elijah knew His God and knew God knew Him. Revival, the fire falling, came with ease.
@cheerforcms These guys at The Ramp are getting together as a group everyday to agree in prayer for revival. They take communion together every day after praying for every person who would come into that building. Is your Youth Pastor and church staff doing that?
@dropzer0schecter As far as the pain involved in the effort put into worship, consider that your sacrifice of praise. There is a Baptist proffesor of history who has some teachings for free on itunes. Listen, if you have the desire to learn more, about the begining of the monastic orders in his teaching about the medieval period. While the monastic order fell short of there purpose IMO,
@cheerforcms Dont ever assume you can get the same results as someone else until you put in the same or greater effort. Unless your Youth Pastor and the rest of the staff of your church are putting in that effort, than your not likely to see the same results outside an all out sovereign move of God.
@dropzer0schecter Never did I say anything about full time staff. My point was and is, and is clear to any honest evaluation, that the price has to be paid before revival is seen. My point to the first poster is that his youth pastor cant expect this unless he puts in the effort that Chosen does.
@kreendurron I concur. But I think we have for so long gone to Churches that are dry, without emotion, when we see emotional worship we are skeptical. I'm 64 years old. and I say AMEN!!! It's time we got emotional about Christ. It this kind of worship bothers people... there really going to be uncomfortable in Heaven... Church should not be a social gathering. It should be a time we surrender to the worship of God.....
... i just really hope this isnt generated emotional Hype... we DESPERATELY need to focus on Prayer... I think this Emphasis is Amazing! but is this something we can do if there's no lights? no stage? no driving music to stir up emotions..?? It has to be real. I hope and pray for this understanding
@dropzer0schecter You brought up the Podunk town to say that what happens there can happen anywhere. Is that true? In theory, yes. In actuality, no. Involved is Gods sovereignty, and a groups wholehearted pursuit of God. In doing that you brought what is happening there down instead of urging others to step up.

Gamiliel was wise enough to know not to come against what God might be doing in Acts 5. If God has chosen to move in Hamilton, AL as He did in Cane Ridge, KY, it would be foolish for you to belittle in any way what He is doing there because "you may even find yourselves fighting against God" Acts 5:39b (New Living Translation).
