I live in California and was baptized in April 2024. Three years ago, the Holy Spirit called out to me, and since then, I’ve given up weed and alcohol. As a new father, I wanted to focus on my daughter but I still struggled with nicotine addiction. This ministry has been a great help to me in my journey of faith. At the end of the November 17, 2024 service, Pastor Anthony shared about the city pressuring the church to relocate and encouraged us to support 2819 if it has helped us grow in our faith. I made my first tithe to the Building Initiative fund that day, and on November 18, I was completely delivered from nicotine. This was my first experience of true deliverance-a powerful testament that the Lord is good. Thank you, Jesus!
I sent money because the messages from this church blesses my life. I have a home church that I pay tithes to. God says give freely and freely will be given to you. He says test him and see when it comes to tithing. To me, tithing is also helping those in need. Especially if we are to grow and further his kingdom! I’m asking for prayer, since im dealing with court, due to an addiction I was dealing with 2 years ago. Through that addiction I came back to my father God and have been walking with him ever since. But I’m facing a year in prison and I have one last chance with my lawyers to argue why I shouldn’t go in. You missed everything he said, they didn't need the money....they need favor from God and for the hearts of the men to be changed concerning the contract that was on the table....the money was the bonus....he never asked for money, he asked everyone to PRAY that the hearts of the men would be changed! How were they going to move into the bldg and renovate it without the money the owners of the bldg were requesting. I don't think people are trying to find fault with Pastor Mitchell or the church. We are just seeking to understand what he is saying. Obviously people thought they were doing the right thing by giving money, but now it seems he AND YOU are saying he never asked for money.
