I just love your sense of humor. You can hear the Birds! And the Cow was included with your visit to the sheep! I got a good laugh from your stories. Good luck in finding June, I have house gnomes that steal things in my house, I have to ask for my things back! Just ask your cats if they have seen them around! Lol, I got your pattern in the mail last week that I won. Thank you so much! Stay sassy Sherrie!
Another great video! I can't cope with those stresses and internal struggles that come with multiple wips! Truly admire all who have multiple wips, and I love seeing them all too. When I see patterns I like, they just get added to my list of projects I want to do, which is ever increasing, especially when I watch your videos! X
My goodness Sherrie, what a haul of fabric you have!!! Some gorgeous colours and patterns, loved all!!! Right, the sewing machine foot that you have is called a walking foot, it is used a lot in quilting as it grabs all the fabric and pushes it through together. If you google how to fit a walking foot, it show you step by step on how to get it into place. Loved all your purchases, they are all amazing!!! But my heart is with the COW across stitch and yes, I too would change the colour of the haystack as I wouldnt want it looking like the cow had had a dump hahahaha. Hope all went well with your appointment hun, take care, stay safe, think positive and remember we are all here for you lovely lady ❤❤❤
You are wonderfully hilarious..... you know that laugh that comes out as a uncontrollable snort 😂....well "bright as a blackout" got me...I had to pause the video till I could quiet myself down.....😂❤
Oh Sherrie how you make me laugh! Sat in my craft shed listening to you watching a bird bathing. Love the fabrics! Absolutely gorgeous ! No mooing cow here, just me slurping my tea! Looking forward to your next video❤
I just love watching you. I can’t stitch when you are on because I don’t want to miss the facial expressions. Birds, cow. See you next time. Happy stitching 🪡😊
Love all you stitching! I would definitely go for the red for Maud. When you first showed it, I thought: nah. But when you showed the other skeins, then yes! definitely ❤️ Good luck with your sewing, you found some lovely fabrics. Bird.
Cow and bird. I like all of your stitching. I just stitch one thing at a time. I mainly stitch on one project at a time. I stitch Christmas stockingS I have other whips too. Happy stitching.❤
Sherrie !! you are brilliant! loving what you're stitching, especially the Jacob Rosebush... oh it's so so pretty.. keep on keeping on and it was so good to hear about your Cornish jaunt.. wasn't it just amazing.. have a lovely weekend x
A pleasure to see your stitching and to listen to your stories, as always. When you mentioned that your order is still "trapped" some 20 miles away from your place I thought for a moment you are talking about the Romanian mail :)) it takes three weeks to get of out the customs and another week from my local post office. Luckily, the more anxious I am, the more it makes me want to stitch. :)) Happy stitching!
Sounds like your trip away was a success after you being so nervous. Loving all the wips, I have the rose sampler but haven’t started yes as I’m finishing Like a Cherry Blosson by stitching through the years, so glad your border met. Good luck for your appointment today x
Hi Sherrie: I sat next to you at Cowslip on the Stacy Nash workshop. It was a pleasure to meet you, even if i didn't realise you are a flosstuber! Looking forward to catching up with the rest of your posts. Very entertaining! Hope to see you at Cowslip again xx
You are absolutely adorable and I look forward to your videos. A visit across the pond to Cornwall is definitely on my list. My bestie is a Yorkie Lass and we’ve run the York marathon together but as much as I love Yorkshire, I’d love a visit with less running 😆 That cow is hilarious! Wishing you all the best and happy stitching!
I’ve been to Cowslip many many times as my mum knows Jo quite well. It’s such a fabulous place but always costs me a lot of money as I quilt as well as cross stitch. Cow and Birds!
Typically me as I finished 'I would rather be stitching' in early March (or so my X stitch Journal says!) but it's still waiting to be ff☹️. Friends say I put myself down but I was a member (before moving across country) of a very talented creative group of embroiderers who were very supportive but at the end of the day I'm not naturally creative so I turn to counted thread patterns to follow for relief whether it's Blackwork, Hardanger, X Stitch etc. I've seen articles on Jo at her Cowslip Workshop and her beautiful work in my patchwork magazines so I'm sure you were spoilt for choice. Pleased you enjoyed yourself - I find it hard to do much stitching when away too. I hope your hospital appointment went smoothly this afternoon and not a waste of stitching time🙃
If you don’t want it to jump out at you … I’d use one of the other three colours, not the red. But then again those three are also colours I really like!
I ended up using the red Fiona. You’re right about it standing out but I don’t think it’s too harsh now it’s done. I did play around putting different colour stitches in before I did it for real though ☺️
Great video and projects. You always make me laugh. I appreciate that. As for the Maud Mary, I wouldn't use red. If you would rather not use black, how about a dark green? That may go with the colors a little better. Just a thought. Happy stitching!
I love the cow breed highland cattle. I eventually want to get over there to see them for myself. My mom is from Edinburgh and would love to see where my ancestors are from. Keep on making me laugh! I love your videos and your humor!
Another lovely video. It was so lovely to meet you at Cowslip and yes I recognised you from your flosstube 🤣. . Cowslip is such an amazing place and I'm so lucky to live nearby.
Great FT,all the best for the hospital visit, you have a very good eye for colour for your finishing,June is most likely in with another project bag, really enjoy your videos,Thankyou for sharing 🪡🇳🇿❤️
If you had a big order from the US, you may have to pay customs that's why it,s at the depot. I know from experience not from 123 stitch but previously.
GInger is all three - a root, a spice & a flavoring - you are right on all counts! It loos like one of the motifs isn't finished on your Summer is coming Quaker - right side of the bottom left motif - have a look.
Great video Sherrie, so much, finishes, starts haul and retreat. That's just about the right amount of people I could deal with I think. As for the shops I wish I had a holiday booked in Cornwall.🤪. Hope your hospital appointment goes well. Why is it when we can't have a drink we I immediately want a drink. I got burnt but I was at my ex's in Surrey(lol) with my grown up kids, it was wonderful, we haven't been in the same house for fifteen years♥️. Personally I think the red is a bit too much. My mother would call women which were getting on her nerves meadow ladies, meaning Cow lol. Have a good fortnight , stitching on what you want. Stay safe🤗🇬🇧
Ginger is a spice, and a color, and a root! Lovely stitching! Flat folds actually don't takes a long time. Great tutorials from Helen D and Vonda Pfeiffer here on RUclips. Its my favorite way to finish a smaller stitch.
Sherrie, sorry to be a pain in the a… but can you tell me who the union flag Tim Holtz style fabric is by please? Gutted I didn’t go to to Cowslip, had a few friends who were going but I just couldn’t make it. Not sure I could have coped with being in that small a group with Stacey Nash, would have shown myself up!😂
I’m so sorry I’m not sure, I just picked up a fat quarter from a pile. I would imagine cowslip might know if you call them 🤔 I’ll do some digging though ☺️
Sounds like you had a great time away 😊 I’ve been to cowslips a couple of times and it’s amazing, brought some gorgeous fabrics. I brought some (all that was needed) to make a quilt that was hanging on their wall (one of many 😉) unfortunately not got round to making it yet but I will one day 😂 seem to have fallen down the cross stitch rabbit hole now rather than quilting 😉🤣
Thank you for keeping me company while I stitched this afternoon. I loved hearing about your retreat with Stacy Nash. Take care. ❤❤
Aw thanks Sarah 😍
I just love your sense of humor. You can hear the Birds! And the Cow was included with your visit to the sheep! I got a good laugh from your stories. Ah fabulous. Thanks so much Betzie ☺️

The never ending struggle of the want list is real Stacey ☺️
Your stories are priceless and “bright as a blackout” just went into my repertoire.
It’s a goodie that one 🤣
My goodness Sherrie, what a haul of fabric you have!!! Some gorgeous colours and patterns, loved all!!! Aw thanks so much Lisa, I’ll get googling, thanks for the advice and yes that’s exactly what I think the haystack looks like 💩🤣
You are wonderfully hilarious..... you know that laugh that comes out as a uncontrollable snort 😂....well "bright as a blackout" got me...I had to pause the video till I could quiet myself down.....😂❤
Ooop sorry about that Connie 🤣
Absolutely love watching you. Beautiful stitching and a wonderful sense of humour. Happy stitching 😊❤
Aw thanks so much Elizabeth ☺️
Oh Sherrie how you make me laugh! Sat in my craft shed listening to you watching a bird bathing. Love the fabrics! Absolutely gorgeous ! No mooing cow here, just me slurping my tea! Looking forward to your next video❤
Thanks Cynthia ☺️
Lovely to see you again, Im home now in WA, playing catch up with Flosstube and putting all my lovely kits away from Cowslip. Happy Stitching! Susan x
Aw it was so brilliant to meet you Susan. Hope you had a wonderful holiday ☺️
I just love watching you. I can’t stitch when you are on because I don’t want to miss the facial expressions. Birds, cow. See you next time. Happy stitching 🪡😊
Yes my face says the words even if my mouth doesn’t 🤣
I checked dmc/anchor conversions and the 268 is Anchor and the other is Dmc. Hope all went well at the hospital.
All the fabric for finishing is so beautiful. A big variety of designs. Great finishing!!
Thanks Laura ☺️
Love all you stitching! I would definitely go for the red for Maud. When you first showed it, I thought: nah. But when you showed the other skeins, then yes! definitely ❤️
Good luck with your sewing, you found some lovely fabrics. Bird.
It’s now done I think it worked well ☺️
Cow and bird. I like all of your stitching. I just stitch one thing at a time. I mainly stitch on one project at a time. I stitch Christmas stockingS
I have other whips too. Happy stitching.❤
I’ve not done Christmas stockings. I bet yours are wonderful ☺️
Sherrie !! you are brilliant! loving what you're stitching, especially the Jacob Rosebush... oh it's so so pretty.. keep on keeping on and it was so good to hear about your Cornish jaunt.. wasn't it just amazing.. have a lovely weekend x

Hi, Sherrie. The Anchor and DMC colors reversed are both a dark avocado green. 😊
Aha thanks so much Susan. I knew someone would know better than I ☺️
You're videos are always fun to watch. Birds
Aw thank you Rebecca ☺️
A pleasure to see your stitching and to listen to your stories, as always. Happy stitching!
It’s driving me insane 🙈 it can’t be that difficult surely 🤦🏼♀️
Sounds like your trip away was a success after you being so nervous. Loving all the wips, I have the rose sampler but haven’t started yes as I’m finishing Like a Cherry Blosson by stitching through the years, so glad your border met. Good luck for your appointment today x

Ah heya Sue, I had a fab time with you and Siobhan. Hopefully one day I’ll get back 🤞🏼

I’ve been to Cowslip many many times as my mum knows Jo quite well. It’s such a fabulous place but always costs me a lot of money as I quilt as well as cross stitch. Cow and Birds!
I’m kinda glad I don’t live too close 🙈🤣
I think the red will clash and stand out if it were me I would go for it I love things that clash.
Thanks Lorraine ☺️
I'm always so happy to see a new video from you. Hey from Texas.
Hey right back and thanks so much for watching ☺️
Typically me as I finished 'I would rather be stitching' in early March (or so my X stitch Journal says!) but it's still waiting to be ff☹️. Yes Jean it was a colossal waste of stitching time. Think it will be the next Justsewsherrie moment 🤦🏼♀️

I'm with you on the large short side only 4ft 11, nothing fits me right haha the pattern looks cool but i cant sew 😊. Love all your projects. Cow xx
Us vertically challenged ladies know the struggle is real, right 😎
If you don’t want it to jump out at you … I’d use one of the other three colours, not the red. But then again those three are also colours I really like!

Great video and projects. You always make me laugh. I appreciate that. As for the Maud Mary, I wouldn't use red. If you would rather not use black, how about a dark green? That may go with the colors a little better. Just a thought. Happy stitching!
I’ve done the red now but I think you’re right. Dark green would’ve been perfect ☺️
I love the cow breed highland cattle. I eventually want to get over there to see them for myself. My mom is from Edinburgh and would love to see where my ancestors are from. Keep on making me laugh! I love your videos and your humor!
Edinburgh is a beautiful city. Thanks Ashley ☺️

Thank you Sherrie, I managed to find some at
The little British fabric shop. Happy stitching.
Oh fabulous. I might have a little look at that shop 😍
Noooo do 't do red on Mary Dodd - how about the green or if its 2 strands what does 2 of ypu existing colours 1 strand of each look like?
Ooh blended could be an interesting combination although I’m stitching with one strand on 36ct. Thanks for the idea Karen 🤔
🪡🧵💕
Sounds like you had a great time away 😊 I’ve been to cowslips a couple of times and it’s amazing, brought some gorgeous fabrics. I brought some (all that was needed) to make a quilt that was hanging on their wall (one of many 😉) unfortunately not got round to making it yet but I will one day 😂 seem to have fallen down the cross stitch rabbit hole now rather than quilting 😉🤣
Yes I’m with you with the ‘good intentions’ purchasing 🤦🏼♀️🤣
As always a brilliant floss tube. Hope all went well at the hospital wishing you good health. Look forward to your next FT. Cow happy stitching.
Thanks Susan ☺️
