Pretty neat. It's a hand held "growler". If you're unfamiliar it's basically the primary of a transformer where all the "E" laminations are inserted in the same way and the "I" laminations are discarded. As you slide the growler along the stator or rotor you'll hear and feel when you hit a shorted turn, hence the growler name.
I have a suggestion Make a simple and powerful induction with one or two mosfet and simple ic like ne555, tl494, sg3525. And that induction can powered with mains 220v. I know u can make this type of induction because u r professional in ur job...👍 Waiting for ur response 👍👍
