Just the utmost respect for Steve and his skills on the open water and climbing mountains. A very wise choice to turn back for home as It was only "a day out with the dogs" - They don't know you didn't reach the summit! I've had to use the same decisions making skills when flying planes to prevent flying into trouble. I love your commentary and decisive thoughts Michy. Your music tracks you pick for the videos are just awesome too. 😀

WOW! Climbing those mountains and sailing the ocean are some amazing feats and accomplishments! And the only thing prettier than a snow-covered forest floor is the gorgeous view out over the lake!
Wow, Steve is a badass...climbing, sailing, skiing, biking! You guys make a great couple. Thanks for sharing your adventures and gorgeous mountain scenery.
You guys are amazing! I really appreciate being able to learn of all of the things you do that I can no longer do. You truly are a bright spot in my life. Thank you.
Holy poop! what? the matterhorn? Logan? The Atlantic? What? Tremendous new respect and perspective on you and Steve!! This is not just a woman with mountain and building skills who lives on a mountain who sometimes cuts logs and builds sheds--we are way past that now. holy smoke! As a young skier I dreamt of Zermatt many times --now that time is long gone. Just to go would have been enough. To climb the Matterhorn? Way way deep into my dreams. So impressed, so loving you guys--I wish I was young and healthy again. However your videos gives me a feeling of pleasure once again--I will be soaring with you. Thanks .
I am so lucky to have him in my life. He is just an amazing human being, and this particular story/video doesn’t even scratch the surface of his life stories. Maybe one day… Glad you enjoyed the video!
I really enjoyed this video. I appreciate that you showed so much about Steve and his life. I look forward to the videos documenting the ocean crossing on the new boat. Exciting times!
Such a calming, relaxing voice. Both you and Steve picked very impressive people to spend your lives with. Nice to see pics of the new trawler, too! ♥️
Your stamina continues to amaze me. Love to see you and your dogs high stepping in the snow. I hope you shared your hot food with your two furry kids. Wishing you, Steve and your furry kids a blessed winter season. Peace dear lady.
Thanks for sharing some of Steve’s adventures. Amazing accomplishments most people never achieve or dream of. I can only think with the boat build , many more videos are in the pipeline. You both are blessed with ur life and wonderful dogs. Give scout a big hug

Very interesting video .that Steve is a very special man.we lost one of are lead sled dogs this winter sven a very special dog to us .allways giving his all and loving it .well miss him and never forget him .he had a happy full life at age 17 and enjoyed running lead till the week before he left us .he passed wait for his warm supper just fell over. So I was happy he never had health problems and loved life right till the end .but still we miss him alot.
Michelle, Thank you for the awesome video!! Tell Steve great job on his climbing accomplishments!! The cabin view is going to be outrageous when it is finished. You guys be safe and warm.
Another quality video. Steve is a badass! You guys are incredible. When Scout was howling back at his siblings my pup was tilting his head back and forth like he was hearing a call of the wild 😜. So impressed by the way you love your pups it is truly beautiful

A coal shovel would work better than push shovel for removing (scooping) snow away. It’s easier on the body. Take Care Be Safe to All. 😊👍👍
Hi Michelle. You guys are a bunch of badasses. I would love to sit down and have some beers and listen to all the stories. Hope all is well and give my best to everyone.
I agree with you on living where you have all four seasons but it seems in winter when things are much slower than the rest, the physical work of snow removal is hard on the body that is in rest mode! Some times, it just doesn't stop! It's a little more than a workout, most times! Y'alls adventures I am in awe of. That was a nasty scrape, I bet every time you bend you're reminded. Heal well, tell Steve, I am in awe of all his accomplishments he has compiled in his life! Oh, your too! Dogs look like they are fine and loved. You two are special people, whether you admit or not! Stay warm, stay happy! How about some snow art? Try it, you never know! 😼🐶🐕🐶🐕🐶 👍 ⛄

Yes, you are the first person to comment on that! Steve is actually wearing that beanie in the photo at the top of the Matterhorn. Very classic, and he still wears it all the time. 😊
Hey! was that a cliffhanger at the end of the video? How dare you ! Anyways, the best mountaineer is the one who knows when to turn around! And most of the time it's also the longest living... And let's be honest: the best trips are the ones where the journey is the reward. And look at your dogs: they're happy all the time and enjoyed themselves all the way ! Great day! Sorry for your "accident". Get well soon! Carry the scar like a medal... As for the cabin on the cliff. Let's say it was a great workout. You had the dogs, some exercise, sunshine, a meal and a great view. What more do you need? And on top of that internet is fixed. You're one of a lucky woman! Enjoy your great family and this marvelous wintertime!
You’re hittin’ the nail on the head, dead center! Wins all around 😊 It’s true about mountaineers - one thing I didn’t mention, is that although Steve has completed the Haute Route at least a dozen times, he’s flown all the way there probably half a dozen to do the route, but the weather never shaped up. So he would just fly home. That’s where many people get into trouble, because they took the time off for it, flew all that way, and want to do it! Cliffhanger? Sure - Michygoss style I guess! 😂
OMG That view is amazing, I'm 43 years old and have never even seen snow! and not anytime soon living in Queensland Australia haha! I can't wait to see the finished product of your cabin. It literally took my breath away :)
Ahhh, the Monashee's in mid-winter... Truly magnificent scenery, I miss it nearly every day. But I don't miss the hip-deep snow and trying to shift it to get to the woodshed; or the car out of the garage; or walking, (uphill, both ways) to SHSS, or... Cheers and stay warm/dry from a West Kootenay ex-pat now in the Willamette valley.
Michy, Love your video as always. I instantly noticed your wicked "war wound" when you got in the hot tub. How did the tree fair in that collision! OUCH!! You pack-a-pups look so happy going along on adventures or happier yet getting hugs-n-kisses and cozy beds when they return. I live far out and was going to get Starlink soon as my internet provider is fickle, to say the least! Glad to know they back up their dish.
Amazing life, wonderful wife...and as we learn more about Steve, it is much easier to see how blessed you both are to have each other! :o) I'm not much of a skier, I'm more of a faller, lol, due to lack of ski time, but wondered what those strips were in the beginning that you put on the skies, figured they were for traction, and realized I was right when I saw Steve pealing his off, before skiing back down. You're a great story teller, Michelle, you do have a calming voice, and a way of presenting things. Ouch, on the tree bite...I bet that left a nice bruise too. You all stay safe, and look forward to more videos as you have time to share! :o)
Thanks Mitcy for another 14 minutes of insights into your guy’s life! My opinion would be the only way an outing could be called a failure is if someone got seriously injured or worse, so looked like a good time to me.😃 I’m pretty sure Hanna was asking you where her hot lunch was.🤷♀️ waiting to see what becomes of your day dreams.😎
Another excellent video. The variety and depth of your videos is extraordinary. Predicting the the content of the next one is about impossible. But one can safely assume it will be worth waiting for. Well done.
It really looks like you could shovel everyday and still be up-to your whohaa. That kinda snow packs well, how about building yourself a huge snow shelter. Always enjoying your vids. BTW canadian dinner jacket n bikinis are a fashion statement
Glad you're all healthy. That's such a beautiful spot of Earth you have there. Those are some pretty substantial accomplishments for Steve (and yourself). Seems like now would be a good time to lower building supplies to your cabin site, letting gravity and the slippery surface provide an assist. I would not consider your ski excursion unsuccessful, you got out into the wild and made it home without any major damages. Glad you got your satellite connection re-established without and major issues. The Winter weather has finally arrived here with our first major storm, but no where near your snowfall numbers. Looking forward to your next project...
That is exactly the plan! (Take materials down with the snow on the ground!). I’m just trying to figure out exactly what those materials are going to be 😊
Steve is an amazing individual! What an high adventure resume! Your StarLink story was funny. The fact is they need to post mortem that recovered unit to engineer the failure out of it for future customers. Glad they decided to realign their customers service prooocesses 😉.

You all stay safe, and look forward to more videos as you have time to share! :o)
Lol! Yes, they are ‘skins’ for traction. Exactly. Thank you! 💕
It's so beautiful At that lake this is wonderful
Doesn’t look too cold where you are...we’re minus 18........we have about as much snow...keep rocking Yeah Michy...always look forward to you❤️
It’s been more mild lately, current temp is -7C. Perfect temperature for me!
@@michygoss7148 down to -20 tonight.... thankfully we got a new furnace...stay warm ❤️
Dogs love watching people eat!
The bath is amazing, the best location I want to make a restaurant
Another amazing video.
Grande...come sempre.. 😘
Another excellent video. The variety and depth of your videos is extraordinary. Predicting the the content of the next one is about impossible. But one can safely assume it will be worth waiting for. Well done.
Thank you! I know the videos are all over the place, but I like to offer variety! That is, after all, the way my life just is! 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I know it must be difficult coming up with video content, but I miss you & your videos. I know I'm being selfish, but your videos are terrific. Your channel is one of only a couple I can hit the like button even before watching it.
Awe! Thank you very much! It can be challenging, especially for a video once a week, like RUclips recommends! But come spring/summer/fall, that should change 😊
sounds like you found a good man Michelle. im happy for you.
