Sounds great and looks good too. Caught my eye as I have National Band soundbox (not the same as your one) awaiting restoration. Thanks 👍😀

Hi yes this is quite a nice looking machine kitted out with all the bells & whistles, ,plus faux marble motor board & wrap round motor horn , the soundboxes on these tend to be made of pot metal so take care when removing screws etc was luckt with mine as its showing no sign of intergranular corrosion or swelling 1

A very attractive machine. The logo is similar to 'Commonwealth' (a maker of various models of gramophone) in which a guardsman is playing a fife. Great sound & thanks for posting. Never seen that make before.

Hi Yep well made machine with Garrard nickel plated motor board fitted with both hand & auto brakes the faux marble lower motor board gives it that art deco Jazz age look which is infact a sheet of Celluose with marble effect , reminds me of the Formica top tables of the 60s/70s !Has a wrap round the motor horn National band made a range of portables & tabletop/cabinets with their own cabinets & bought in internal fittings from Garrard .
