BDO = Block Development Officer. A block is somewhat like a rural county, few blocks make up a district and a group of districts make up a state. DM = District Magistrate, its a government job post which requires the same exam mentioned in 12th fail movie, the post carries some judicial, executive & administrative powers. BDO & DM, panchayat secretary(sachiv) are non-elected administrative posts.
A block includes many "panchayats" which is a village level democracy led by "pradhan" aka "sarpanch". And then there's state level and central(federal) senators called MLAs(member of legislative assembly) & MPs(member of parliament). Hope it helps.

Ray you are missing the point on the ‘piles’ wording. The authorities made it sound bad purposefully so that it hurts people’s sentiment and jolts new couples and adolescents( future parents) to have a paradigm shift in thinking about their family size. Making the slogan more palatable will make it less effective. BTW love your interest in Panchayat and pleasantly surprised by how well you understand it which can be difficult for outsiders, even those belonging to India.

Sardar patel is one of the national leader who fought for India. Even Pradhan had a screensaver in his mobile if you watched carefully this episode
That would be 9000 Rs/- per year worth of milk, which Mr Pradhan decided to give for free. Mrs Pradhan's concern is absolutely justified and especially when you're living in a village. It's a lot of money for village dwellers, doesn't matter if you're Pradhan and also have lots of property, I think and believe.
Please increase the length of the episodes,like the previous 3's,20-25 minutes of episodes feels that many good scenes got cut.

the slogan is different And overpopulation has always been a pblm these slogans are meant to bring awareness. And slogans here in India are little bit on the side which kinda makes u think that u r at fault. For example in many traffic posts i have seen slogans like speed thrills but kills. In my state there are many broken cars kept by side of road so the traffic can see that this car over speeded and the people in them died its all about psychological impact. From an american POV 3 to 4 kids is normal but for an Indian 3 to 4 kids are too much. Thats why these slogans are necessary. These slogans are common and no one gets offended.
India has the youngest majority population and even then to have 2 kids is being supported by government which will keep majority of population younger in INDIA in near future unlike China where the majority of the population was of older generation and yet they promoted 1 child policy which is now troubling them in current scenario

1)ur point on patel banned RSS is wrong as u dont know why RSS was banned .... RSS helped patel to gain kashmir so they were on same page but jab nathuram godse ne gandhi ko mara khudki ideology se patel ko laga ki pure RSS Ki same ideology hai tabhi unko ban kia gaya
2)RSS me sirf hindus ki organisations and parties hee nahi hai like BJP and Bajrang dal unme muslimo ki party muslim national forum hai unme sikho ki party national sikh sangat hai unme farmers ka association indian farmers association hai unme world dialogue centre hai unme all india world council hai unme education ke liye vidya bharti bhi associated hai toh communal toh kahi se proove nahi hoti RSS agar unke associated members dekhe toh
3)RSS ka focus and agenda 2 chizo pe hai ending casteism and promoting cultural nationalism ek baar jaake unki publish ki hui books padhke dekh lena agar itna padhne ka shauk hai toh
4)AB jab kashmir issue hua tha tab Guru golwalkar who was the leader of RSS he only talked to hari singh and convinced him to have a meeting with vallabh bhai patel then vallabh bhai patel convinced raja hari singh to join to india
5)28 july 1954 me dadra and nagar haveli ko liberate karne ke liye RSS ne hee attack kia tha naroly police station pe tab hee waha se portuguese bhage they silvasa ki taraf tab waha bhi RSS pohoch ke portuguese ko hara ke 2 aug 1954 me silvasa me national indian flag ko lehra ti hai
6)1962 indo china war me bhi RSS ne help kia army ki in tracking the routes in administration and in arranging food for army and also help army families and for that nehru ji appreciated RSS and asked them to participate in republic day parade of 1963
7)in 1965 war also PM lal bahadur shastri asked RSS to help the injured soldiers and they did so and they also helped in clearing snow from air strip in kashmir to help the forces
8)in 1971 they helped the people who faced orissa cyclone and also helped people who were the victims of bhopal gas tragedy
9)in 1984 they well managed the sikh hindu riot by helping the victims they further helped the people who were the victims of gujrat earthquake and also helped the ghayal soldiers of kargil war
10)RSS have not only helped people in india but also helped in nepal srilanka and sumatra as RSS is an NGO

b)integral humanism given by pandit deen dayal upadhyay
c)hindutva (hindu dharm ko sabse upar manna and it is not communal it is just liking ur dharma and saying that it is the best like muslims do while saying Azan that allah is the only god to be worshipped so if u dislike hindutva philosophy and wanna ban it then u have to also ban the azan offered at time of namaz to be secular )

Vallabhbhai Patel, as Deputy Prime Minister of India, banned RSS on February 4, 1948, following Mahatma Gandhi's assassination and anti india activities. The ban was lifted on July 11, 1949 just before his death.
I don't hate hinduism at all. condemning RSS doesn't mean I hate the religion itself. I follow the ideology of bhagat sing, netaji bose, Sardar patel & many more true nationalists.
Here's what Netaji quote about RSS on AIR:
"I am, however, obliged to say that the activities of the Sangh are anti-national and unpatriotic. They do not serve to promote the unity of our people. I regard it as a great misfortune for the country that the activities of the Sangh are confined to the communal plane."
Please don't equate condemning RSS is anti hindu.

It’s a slogan which says only two kids per family is enough.
India has a huge population, so the govt is trying to minimise by educating the people of villages about the problems of having more than two kids. They target villages where literacy rate is lesser than city people.
Though the slogan seems a little harsh, villagers can take it. Sometimes sweet motivational quotes don’t work. Needs a stronger punch to get the point across.
