    I think your videos are AMAZING Howard and so very helpful to me. I wish I had an instructor like you because you are so patient and clear with your teachings...I am going to start teaching in 2 weeks on my trainee licence and then will book my part 3 ADI test a few weeks in with the view to waiting 3 mths for a test. I will keep watching as it's helping me so much and giving me confidence. If I lived in Norfolk I would definitely book with you!!! Keep up the great work. You are a one off

    I learnt a lot from this video, the pdi is so distressed and it’s always telling , I won’t be a happy pupil if my instructor talk to in that tone and would me confused

    I actually felt nervous for the driver during this lesson.
    Watching this has definitely given me something to think about when I get to my part3

    This feels like an excellent educational tutorial, Howard’s reaction at 17:50 is comedy gold😂. On a serious note, thank you for posting this as it really does give a insightful perspective of the challenges when instructing. I have taken many positives from this.

      My pleasure! Glad it helped and thanks for commenting, it really helps me understand what people like, don’t like. I’ll do more of these analysis type videos I think

      @@mrzed3034 I got 25. Fault identification and analysis. Student was poorly positioned at junctions and I didnt pick up on it. Also mirror checks were missed and not commented on

    Communication is obviously hugely important so I cant begin to imagine what it's like for PDIs that speak English as a second language. Someone I know that came over from Hong Kong is thinking about trying to become an ADI. Although he speaks okay English, his plan is to focus on teaching Cantonese speaking people... assuming he can pass his Part 3 speaking English. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Hi Howard, im just in the consideration stage of becoming an ADI and watch lots of your videos that is increasing my interest, im not sure if you have spoken on this topic but im struggling with how i should go about choosing a company to get training with in terms of choosing a small training school or the likes of AA, Red, BSM to train with and if it is recommended to join a driving school to work for or to go straight into being independent, i hear fees can be quite high but not sure if the trade off is more beneficial in terms of getting pupils, if i was in your area i would be booking a course with you but im unfortunately not.

    Can you do a lesson on briefings for part 3 adi test

    • @How-2-drive
      @How-2-drive  8 месяцев назад

      Yes I’ll add to the list. On a Part 3, don’t do a briefing tho, you’ve not got time so do it before and just recap on main points

      He’ll need to make some changes to his instructional technique.
      Sitting in with ADI’s to watch a few client centred lessons would definitely help

    Why is it people get so tongue tied around you Howard, this felt instructor led, not much agreement from the pupil. I feel PDI needs to relax a bit, risk not discussed.
