I just bought a Mazda 6 sport Navy Tourer 2013. Brilliant car and very comfortable with great Tech stuff, and getting over 65 to gal on a trip and 46 around on short trips. Very nice car.

I have just been given one of these, the 174bhp sport auto. The engine and gearbox are good, my early 2015 model looks great. Real fuel economy is 42mpg in real use and the ride is so horrific. Back breaking. Thankfully the seats are half decent but after 400 miles you are so glad to get out of it. More so than with any other car I have owned. Apparently the newer 2017 on models are better. I would defo want to drive one for a while before I said yes.

+Ben Palmer Thanks for your comment. We don't have a video review of the Mazda 3, we do have a written review here: www.autotrader.co.uk/content/car-reviews/mazda3-hatchback-2013-expert-review
Or a comparison (customer review) here: ruclips.net/video/BIHuFz83KEg/видео.html

are skyactiv engines with direct injection as prone to carbon build up as others? i was looking into getting the mazda6 until i found out it was a gdi.. makes me hesitant. i want a car that wont have to be in the shop every 50k miles to remove the build up... i also know nothing really about cars and wouldnt feel comfortable trying to clean it myself. toyotas dont interest me, honda accord is my other choice however the newer models are also gdi engines.

Just get the petrol version instead! Diesel cars are only good if you are doing above average mileage and you won't have to worry about the extra premium on the initial cost, the higher servicing costs, dpf failure etc. I've just picked up a 2005 Mazda 6 2 litre petrol, 130,000 on the clock and it drives like it's a year old. Only replaced my 2004 Mazda 6 as it got written off!

Andrew Haines think she was talking about the gdi petrol engine as opposed to the diesel. Gdi petrol engines valves can clog up as it’s direct injection as opposed to port injection

Im looking at one of these but the one thing that puts me off is the thing he mentions, in that its quite a hard suspension. Do you find that the case? I prefer a nice smooth ride myself so does put me off a bit.

    Mazda6 is beautiful, but Mazda3 is still better-looking :D
