@@edumarcos12r No, 7th Quark isn't wrong. The problem with irradiate against queens / defilers is that the irradiated unit can still cast its spells before dying, whereas EMP can instantly break the Zerg's battle plan if he needed an ensnare / dark swarm immediately. Irradiate still is what you want in most situations, but if a Zerg is going for the ultra / queen strategy, you definitely want an EMP.
@@GrandBenja against queen emp works but no against defiler thy got enough apm to use consume and swarm again also thy dont attack with only 1 defiler thy use 2 and thy are not close to each other.
In game 1, the idea is to use plague constantly to whittle down the army and with that and the hydras you can zone out vessels. You have definetely to use scourges too, but you want to rely on plague as much as you can. Soma probably needed more lurkers and he needed to move away from the defensive matrix firebat. In game 2, Emp is 200/200, and it cost more energy than Irradiate, so probably the solution is just find the quens and irradiate them, if it is ensnare quuens, then you wont make more than 3, so researching emp is overkill imo. If the queens are for broodlings, then EMP is almost a must. However, you can argue that preventing the ensare is critical, because you cant run away from that. Against dark swarm Terran can just move away from it, so its not a big issue if defilers can cast it as long as they are dead afterwards. In that particular game, I'm not sure Soma ever had a chance to transition into macro, because Light kept trying counter-attack instead of defending. Soma kinda had to keep making Mutalisks in order to hold his position. Transitioning would have been the correct move if Light had just stayed in his base and remade turrets. What you're saying is generally a good rule though - one of the first to teach new players. The goal of a 2-hatch Muta (or a 2 factory push in tvp, etc.) isn't to kill the opponent; it is to put them behind and get the lead in the late-game transition. The most common way to lose in Starcraft is to try to kill your opponent after a successful attack.
I just watched it again. The Zerg did try to bring back his mutas for the first counter, but missed the bio goin for his third, then attacked the Terran base again. Later when the terran bio went for his natural, he didn't bring back the mutas, but had other new mutas to defend. After that, around 8:30 or 9 minutes into the game, the Zerg killed so many scvs, but then a valk came out. @@antoniominissale7041 ya, and Zerg didn't have lurkers. Kinda the point.
man I feel so sorry for chosim in g4. I think greater spire is what's lost him the game.. after wiping the first and somewhat holding his second he just needed to rebuild few drones and go for ling mutas. way more cost efficient and easier to micro... instead he went directly into the only units light had the counter for lol. he only had a starport
Crazy last game !!

lol tasteless is better at translating then the other person before
than* (not meant to disrespect)
Wow! I was sad that flash got eliminated, but at the beginning of the asl that was my wish, cause he won already 4 asl and the last final was even a little boring for how much he wrecked Snow...I'd like to see someone else to win sometimes, its healthier for the pro-scene lol. anyway, I'm really happy to see a TvZ final. I think Light will do better vs Zero than Flash could, given how Light seems to endure pression, Flash might still be better than Light but like against Effort in Asl6, he chocked, and right now Light seems better at valks micro
I think if flash could not whith Queen, Light has no option to face him. Queen is so much better zerg than soma.
3-0 or 3-.1
@@matiascarrasco9745 we'll see! in game 5 Flash should have taken more his time to stabilize on 3 bases, and focus on better dropship tactics.. his drop seemed a little desesperate. Why being desesperate on a game 5, when you are the better player of all time. I think Light will focus more on infantery vs Zero and I hope he will not try to weird Goliath bio build, and Zero will feel too confident. 3-2 Light!
Artosis. Im getting nerd chills .IM GETTING NERD CHILLS SO HARD.
MOM: I WANT THIS GODAMN NERD OUT MY GODAMN BASEMENT
Long live brood war
Valkyrie best unit to watch :)
LMAO Artosis thinking SK terran is the most skill demanding unit composition. Just watch these games and you can see Light is only hovering around 350 apm where as Choosim is 400-450 by comparison. Artosis only thinks SK terran is hard because he sucks at it.
겟꿀잼!!
Gogo Light! Terran Hwighting!
