Fun fact about the E animation on the Cosmic version, that's a depiction of 2 neutron stars orbiting each other. As they orbit, they lose energy in the form of gravitational waves and slowly drift closer, orbiting faster and faster until they collide, creating one of the highest energy explosions possible in the universe. That's a very cool touch, and it makes me really happy.

The recall on both skins are meant to be the "ending" of the lore, whether you choose ambition and embrace your darkness or you choose duty and remain as Cosmic. So the star we see in the recall, I suppose is the Dark Star.

I LOVE the inclusion of the neutron stars in orbit with C Lux's E. Really gives the astronomy nerd in me a thrill. But DC Lux's Ult? *whistles* that is just brutal/beautiful.
I honestly can't decide which version I prefer. I keep going back and forth. They're both gorgeous. Edit: Ok I'm leaning towards Dark Cosmic more now.. She has more details in her animations.

If the screaming at the end of Dark Cosmic Lux's taunt is suppose to be coming from the planet, I feel as though the sound bit would work better at the start of the taunt as she readies her golf swing. Then the sound bit would quickly fade away as the planet is putted away, thus adding more emphasis to her destructive/uncaring demeanor. Plus the final portion of her taunt, "You. Who are you again?", can stand out more without having the screaming in the background.
This is actually a really damn creative and good idea!!!
What I like most about these skins is that how gently she descended to the ground after casting ult.
Imagine Syndra getting a sick skin like this..

I wouldn't even say these are good quality. It's just a bunch of glowing particle effects slapped on a generic skin. Equivalent to someone putting 100 filters on a picture to hide their ugly face.

i like cosmic more than dark because of the constellation particles and the dark one looks like the bright stuff that flies everywhere when you are welding metal (but I bought the package cuz she's riot's starchild aka the money maker)
I like dark cosmic more because of the more details than cosmic lux like thr helmet and the planets
Ok here is my opinion on the skins:
Color - I really like Dark Cosmic's colors, they look really well made as well the visual effects for her skill shots. Cosmic's colors gives me chills and I think that her's color palette is really "relaxing" and CLEAN. Also I really like how both have their hairs like a cape xd. *Im not sure but i will say both*
Emotes (all) - I would say that dark cosmic has better emotes than cosmic (like I perfer dark cosmic's "taking" the stars than cosmic's emote as well the voice lines). I really like the mask she wears when she dance, Cosmic's mask looks kinda cringe not gonna lie, but its personal opinion thats just an emote its not the whole game so that doesnt make her bad at all. *Dark Cosmic Takes the W*.
Basic attack: Cosmic's basic attack has really well made trial behind it which makes it really nice than Dark Cosmic's "ball". *I give Cosmic the W there*
Passive: Nothing much *Both are really nice*
Q: Cosmic's Q looks really clean and looks kinda small than Dark Cosmic's (not really sure xd) so *Cosmic takes the W*
W: Dark Cosmic's W looks really nice and not... Like it has too much colors on it but it looks cool at the same time. Cosmic's W looks much cleaner (and the rainbow effect is really nice) but also boring to be honest... So ill give *Both*
E: Cosmic's E looks cool but its boring as well... But the Idea is really nice. Dark Cosmic's E is a planet that explodes and her *BOOM* voice line sounds really nice. So *Dark Cosmic takes the W*
R: Cosmic's R looks really nice with the trails between stars after it. Dark Cosmic's R is really well made with the color palette, but the planets are really strange how they are placed.. Its like they copy and pasted them xd. *Both takes the W here*
Death: Not really much to talk about it they are *Both nice (W)*
Kill (Enemy death): Well they are the same but with different colors so I would say the Cosmic's because when you die ur screen turns red and Dark Cosmic's colors really blend with it and you really only see the stars at the beginning so *Cosmic takes the W*
Overall: Both skins are really well made if I have to chose between both I would go with Cosmic even doe Dark Cosmic is much more detailed in the colors. If you have enought money buy both trust me you wont regret it. Its all about your personall opinion. Dont Take my opinion and go with it Im writing this just to help you at some point if you chose between them.

I bought the cosmic one before because i liked the colors and effects more but i played in-game and i felt that her hair matches her clothing too much, sometimes it looked like a cape, then i refunded it and bought the dark one and tbh i don't regret it, her voice lines also is so much nicer imo, but cosmic one still has better effects

Dark cosmic and any evil themed skin is great for Lux too. It’s an interesting concept to see a good character go bad.

The audio is too loud tbh. It's the same loudness as on Battle Academia but they made the voice stand out there.
Josef Clemente I don’t like it, the new nami skin is so loud too and the last cosmic skins are the same... its deafening in game and turning down the sfx volume means turning down my own too :/ i hope they fix it but i doubt it since they shipped the other ones too

perhaps an unpopular opinion but: anyone who cries about champions like Ahri and Lux getting so many skins clearly doesn't know how to business. Of course Riot's gonna make more skins for the more popular champions,there would be little profit by making an Ivern skin for example,because there is a small percentage of people who play him and an even smaller percentage who would buy the skin. You do realize that making skins cost money too right? I don't blame them for making more skins for more popular champions.
On the other hand I do agree that a lot of champions need reworks or at least visual reworks and there is no excuse for that. And I think not changing Ahri's and Lux's base skin is also a business move,ugly bases? people buy more skins (although they did recently change their VFX) Not saying that it's fair but it is a smart move from the company,let's be honest.

Cosmic is a poorer version of dark cosmic, even sounds are off for cosmic lux (2:02 - compare the accuracy of animation and sounds, cosmic sounds matched dark cosmic animation only); ult for dark cosmic has planets, ult for cosmic has some starts but only in second phase; "golf" emote for dark cosmic has additional background sounds; recall dark cosmic has a mask, whereas cosmic is plain again... dance emote - both versions have masks...

Differences I noticed
Cosmic lux: tends to have a more heavenly feel
Leaves behind star patterns or constellations in her abilities and auto attacks
Her e is the representation of 2 stars colliding
Just a blue sparkly feel overall
Dark lux: much edgier feel
Bursts of darkness and void in her abilities
While the cosmic luxury feels sparkly and magical dark lux feels more empty and the art feels like she’s pulling/sucking you into the void
Her e is the representation of a dark hole blowing up
Less noticeable effects but a much more powerful feel

for me, creating the same skin but with different colors and effects is a bit of a cash grab, not like the pajamas guardians were but still..
I'm willing to bet money that Lux will in fact get another skin within the next 2 events, this is too much.
it would be great to have the map with the light of the different moments of the day (morning, afternoon, evening, night) or with the different atmospheric effects (rain, intense sun, wind, hail, wind ...) @skinspotlight @riot @leagueoflegends

I like cosmic lux because my favorite color is blue but that skin tone and ss, nahhh. So dc is better but I dont like the color. Mygush.
