nvidia will never make the same mistake of making a card that can last 5 years at 1440p comfortably. the whole 10 series lineup was way ahead of its time. my 1070 is even still a 1080p beast i can play everything at 1080p high or ultra and get way over 60 frames.

You are soon able to establish a Graphics Card museum lol. (I don't think any of that exists yet). You probably live in a large place, because can't really think how you are keeping all of the boxes, warranties etc. Cleaning the cards and the other stuff are probably not that easy. You deserve success on youtube, as I can't think of anyone else doing anything like this. :)

yea 4k high on a gtx 1080 is what i play on my living room media pc and it works really well. most games can be played at 4k medium on the 1080 and look better than console with 60fps. and the 1080 ti was a different beast. i bet it crushes it. there is no high refresh but 60 is usually doable on that 5 year old gpu
I have a complete Alder Lake system, with a new GPU, in a big box in the corner waiting to be built. I've been running FH5 for about a week now on an i7-6700k with a 1080Ti on a new 3440x1440 Gsync monitor at 180Hz. The game suggested ultra settings at install and I get about 28 fps on average with no stutters and nice graphics, which I assume that Gsync is providing. I imagine it will be much improved with the new i7 12700k and 3080Ti. Wife is getting my current PC in a new case. Fair winds and following seas to all.
60fps is all you need for a racing game. It's not surprising that the 1080 ti still performs so well, when it was released it was packing overkill horsepower for the time. I've been running an msi aero oc 1080 ti for awhile, it's noisy but I do not require more power!
i've got this as well since the release, currently running on 3440 x 1440 and still kicking ass not just on this game but most of games overall, the day i say good bye to this gpu will be my new upgrade time till then it'll rock
I got an Aorus Xtreme Version of GTX 1080 Ti. Played this game at 1440p@Extreme, no problems :) Definitely Impressive. It's going strong with God of War as well (with some tweaks it stays at 60 plus most of the time). It can do a mild OC (+35 core and +150 memory) , as it is way too high up from factory (but it's totally unlocked and power limit climbs to 150% - I don't recommend doing it) I bought the card used for 550€ summer of 2018. Best purchase ever, I believe! As always, I loved your video and the reactions! Keep doing stuff like that dude

I am a proud owner of a 1080ti Founders Edition and I can confirm that it's a monster... it can max out every modern game at 1080p but bext month I'm going to switch to a 1440p panel and I'm sure it will still run well anyway. I'm gonna change it only because I can't stand the noise anymore 🤣
Hey guys, I have a massive Problem with this game on pc: since 2 weeks i can't reach the horizon 5 server. The game always says that i should try it later. So i don't have access to the car pass and the play list challenges. It really sucks!😕 With my Xbox one, everything runs fine, with the same profile. Well I am going to be the odd guy out here. So i have both FH4 and FH5.GTX 1080TI and I7 10700k . FH4 1440p Maxed , never ever below 60fps average 90ish fps . FH5 1440p maxed dips to 55 fps all the way up to 80 fps. FH5 does look better then FH5 BUT not 30 fps better. FH5 is not as optimized as FH4 so IMHO FH5 IS not well optimized yet. My gtx 1080 ti and 10700k should be able to run 1440p 60fps rock solid no stuttering in FH5 which it doesn't so again FH5 needs better optimization. Side note , I can run FH4 at 4k maxed above 60fps all day long, FH5 I can't.

I kinda wanna buy one of these for my newer rig and keep my 1070 in my current one. The most I play is this game at 3440x1440 and I'm playing it on high in my 1070. My newer rig is gonna have a 5950x and 32gb ram.
i have the r9 280x, the performance is eh... well it works. The only thing that i miss from my 1070 is the performance, and the ability to play vr. I dont know what gpu i should get when 970 cost 150€, 980 like 200€, 1070 like 350€ and 1080 ti like 600€ the 30- series cards are a bit over msrp at the store, like 100-500€ than they are supposed to be :(
ive been using my new 4k tv to play games on from my PC untill i can afford a 1440p monitor. this game for me 1440p High settings gets around the same FPS as the 1080 ti at extreme in this video, (i have a radeon 5600 xt so i got 6gb of Vram lol) and Medium settings at 4k got me around 65fps average, so i am happy with my GPU for now. the 5600 xt is stilla beast on radeons side. 90% of my games at 1440p High settings run with 70 to 80fps easy. and i am still gonna upgrade my monitors to 1440p eventually.
My GTX 1080 Ti has the same avg fps, but sometimes I experience micro stutters (the 1% fps sometimes drops to 35-50 fps). What's the possible cause? Is it related to CPU? I pair it with 10400f. CPU usage is around 40-60%

This card is 5 years old and it is still way overkill for 1080p. That’s insane. The GTX 1080 ti might go down as the greatest 80 ti card of all time.

I am the owner of an analog of this card, namely RTX 2070 SUPER. In short, any game works at 60 FPS (in 1080 resolution) without enabling ray tracing.

1080ti aged very well . it came out in 2016 btw . if u have 1080ti even 1080 , play with it still 60+ fps on newer titles at ultra

Weird my 1080Ti on 1440p extreme everything was getting average of 90+ with a few dips at 77 for a few seconds and as high as 102+FPS.
