Thank you for showing the slides in. That is the type of view that makes a huge difference for those of us who plan to be on the road. At the camp site is one thing but on the road is the whole point and during that part of the adventure it is important to know what space there is and to actually see it. Speaking to it does not get the picture across. And like was mentioned there are more time than not , during the trip that the slides do not get deployed. I would be curious to see a walk through from front to back with the slides in. Maybe even going through the motions of getting something from the fridge type thing. I look forward to this in the future. I know this is a popular topic from more than my self. Thanks again for showing this aspect. A last view request.. would be to see the exterior once parked to see the SAT dish deployed.
Enjoy watching your podcasts. One observation, it would be helpful if the person that's off camera, relaying questions , had a microphone. More often than not, I can only guess at the questions, because they are not being picked up by your mics. Thanks.
Thank you, Corky! We resolved this for this week's show (episode 14) because only Mal was on screen, versus 2 hosts. Our microphone system currently allows for 2 people to be hooked up for sound, but we are always working to improve!
Hey Dave & Mal - 0851 here. Thanks for the late night help about 3 months ago, Dave. Have a question on this video related to "surge protectors" at the 50A pole. Recommend them? I have used one for years, but see alot of folks not using them. Thanks again and see you in Coburg soon for the remodel! Just spoke to Jill today for some parts in the interim. Best - Mike
Can you talk about electrics? The inverter converts DC from battery to AC for the coach right? If you use the generator is it powering the sockets and equipment directly or is it charging the batteries at 12 volts dc to be converted to 110 volts ac by the converter. If you have solar you also have an inverter for it? Does it charge the batteries or does it power anything directly?
I love the idea of getting a used Prevost bus conversion but I also have a great interest in boondocking. Are these buses too heavy to do any good boondocking in great remote locations?
Thank you for showing the coach with the slides in and also with the camping protocol' I live in Las Vegas can you order the coach with dual pane low E windows ? and will that cut down on the road noise ! Ron Green
Normally I cannot watch this type of video. But I enjoyed your video. Beautiful coach. Only 2 suggestions, either repeat what the lovely young lady is saying or give her a mic. Secondly mute out the part where you are walking around the back of the coach to go back in and someone hacks a lugy, it is gross.
You didn't mention not to park the coach with the rear rock guard being directly above the concrete tire stop. If you lower the rear of the coach you will crush the rock guard and bend the materials the rock guard is attached, too. Are their multiple warning locations if the shore voltage drops below a desired level?
love watching your vids. I wonder though, should you not always level first? I have a CC magna and one day will have a Prevost but until then, Once I park, the first item is to level then shut off the Coach....go out and hookup and finally the slides go out. Nice to have the engine quiet while working outside?
Slides in and still livable. When traveling from point A to point B and “hanging on the hook” over night, deploying slides is unlikely, that’s why it’s important to always have a decent walkway.
As my wife and I are watching this, we are trying to decide between the X3-45, or the H3-45. Seen a lot of Prevost videos. Seen a lot of videos from people already owning Prevost. In your hookup I am surprised that you did not mention a pressure regulator between the water source and the coach at the faucet (Just saw in video where this question was asked. You have a 50-pd. built into the coach. So, one outside at source at say 40-pd's would be extra protection). Is this built into all Prevost coaches? Also, was wondering where you incorporate an electrical surge protector between hookup source and coach? In these coaches, if, in the case of a lost shore power, do the generators kick on automatically? Love the videos. Scottishxpride, Tx.
the gen kicks on automatically when it senses it needs the power after a power loss. works flawlessly. No need for the regulator since it is built in by Marathon. I personally always use a surge protector but have been told it is not always necessary. Marathon's are the best built coaches..
Thank you for the great question! Although most states do not require a special driver's license, some do. We recommend you contact your state's DMV to ensure you have the most accurate, up-to-date information available. Thank you, again, for your question. Best wishes to you today and every day.
Dang it i missed it live feed. Another aspect of owning a Marathon Coach is also part of the lifestyle. How about after the purchase. the rallys. Maybe even a live feed from a event....maybe AT Marathon
awesome coach! Y'all have $2mill plus motorhomes and a $100 video setup lol, can't hear the lady very well. Hear Mal perfect. Can't hear the other guy at times. BUT AWESOME MOTORHOMES!!!
I like the coach very much now if your going to show off how easy it is to set up, give us a standing profile shot of the Prevost and all her slide out and awnings, what ever happen with the microphone of that pretty little Lady reading out all the question in this video i could not hear or sea her, she deserve a Flower 🌹. 👆 °?• 👔🌷👍
yes. they have a built in shut off valve that keeps the city water from continuing to flow into the fresh water tank once its full when the auto fill button is activated
Mal Marathon has to do better with Audio by Micing Everyone talking and the Audio turned up. I can barely hear you with everything on my Computer turned up 100% Other than that Love to watch your videos
two things so far come to mind. first he handled the sewer hose with bare hands then he hooked up the fresh water hose with the same bare hands. glad he not doing my coach. and then as I have seen many many times people not using pressure regulators at the faucet. so what if he has a built in pressure regulator in the coach, I have seen many hoses blown because they don't use a regulator at the faucet. not a wise thing to forget
coach has one built in that regulates all incoming water to 50 psi more than safe for the internal plumbing. Also has built in water softener and filter
The guy Dave is such a LOW talker I can't hear HALF of his explanations, especially at the end of his sentences. Awful audio from that guy. He talks TOO low to be on a video.

Definitely a better audio system needed for the show. Great content, thanks
Best RV video ever. Thank you.

I enjoy taking care of my toys as much as using my toys, well almost, and a couch like this would be a blast!
Plug in the a/c Power, connect black water tube, attach water hose, go in and put the slides out, switch system to shore power. Is that about it?
Nice job, guys - thanks for your efforts. I'm warming up more to owning a Prevost with every episode :-)
Prevost is at the top so when you warm up to it you will be at the top.

Doe's the GPS have weather and traffic as rv Pacific. Thanks
Also, can both driver's side slides be retracted / deployed at the same time on all model years? Thanks Guys! Mike
31:52 is priceless, cheeky bastard smiles right into the camera!

Hello from Tampa Florida Grateful for Sharing NAMASTE
Do u always leave the water on or do u turn it off wen tank is full

Your podcasts are awesome and I will buy a custom built bus with 2 bunks on the X345 chassie
Good material just cant hear half of it :), Where's the follow up info question and answer, should input later just like individual email response.
I love this brand of bus. Are all the new buses over a million? Marathon that is?

NEAT I LOVE THE FLOORS SPREADING OUT
Thinking I would make a check list.
Prévost and Marathon is the Best
Why didn't he shut the switch off at the post AFTER unplugging from it?...
Hook up fresh water BEFORE the sewer!
To drive his coach Can you use a standard driver license or do you need a CDL license

Thank you for your reply I will check on that
Seems like logic “no rubber gloves utilized” would be to connect fresh water supply first prior to handling grey\black water discharges.....🤔

Meike needs a microphone, can't hear the questions. Awesome coach, nice video.

Holding the button??
Nice 'loogie' Dave😜
May I request that when an off screen member of your crew is asking questions, that you repeat the questions? Or Give the girl a Mic?
Can you put a one piece windshield on a H3 45 Prevost.
Not really

Is there a mechanism that would prevent water from overflowing into the freshwater tanks but still allow running water to flow freely?
yes. they have a built in shut off valve that keeps the city water from continuing to flow into the fresh water tank once its full when the auto fill button is activated
chuntley83 ok thanks very much

Question: what about towing a car?
you should have had towels to wipe cords down when you brought them back in
u the best
Leveling with wheels not jacks?
Air bags
"Cool Demo"
Hard to hear the questions
Great
With all the technology, it would be easy to create a customized check off list that prevents the coach from moving unless the list is completed.
Yeah but imagine an APP failing somehow & you've checked off all the list...but still the coach wont move. 1st world problems I know.
Remote for shore cord??
DONT HESITATE
why the 2 piece windshield
Hello
Do you need a water regulator for water supply?
