You hit several of my favorite all time games on this list… except Fallout 4. Shoutout for mentioning Mad Max. That is probably the most under-celebrated game ever. I played it all the way through twice. Not because it’s different each time, but because it’s FUN. Odyssey is my favorite AC game, followed by Valhalla, but the naval part of Black Flag makes it a “must play” over Valhalla. Incredible list. Well done.
Also Skyrim is probably the most immersive game of all time. No game has captivated me like that before or since. I need to go back and play it again. Possibly the most important rpg of the modern gaming era.
I got bored with RDR2, mainly because Rockstar thinks that making Missions "challenging" involves having them all be TIMED MISSIONS. That's Rockstar's "Go to" formula for all their games.
I need to get back into it. I still only have a ps4 pro tho and it's my only game that'll crash it at least once per play session 😢 otherwise super fun, haven't quite finished it yet
Mad Max is so crazy for it's low system requirements, I remember how it's the only game ran smooth on my shitty laptop back then but the visual and graphical quality still hold up even today's standard. DA Inquisition is close to that too. Love that optimization quality, not those UE5, Ray Tracing craps they put out today
The only two games that make me get lost in their worlds are The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2. The rest are quite generic open-world games man, Assassin's Creed most of all.
I go No HUD on Ghost (or rather its called "expert HUD") and its SO MUCH more immersive. I would recommend playing WITH the HUD at least for a little, though, so you get used to where you can interact.

The open world is mostly tedious. At points it does look good but there is nothing really immersive about it. I don't think I'll ever replay the game solely because of the open world. The gameplay is good and bosses are good and so on, but too much of the time is spent running around with the horse, when I just want to actually play the game.
@@VBFilms right? feels like every location should be -30% bigger, too much corridors, fields or inmense places where you just use Torrent for minutes straight with nothing to do.
Mad Max surprised me, I got it for around $4, and had a great time playing it. DA: Inquisition bored the bejesus out of me, because once you get to a certain stage, it's just a massive maps with "Busy" stuff" to do that gets repetitive, same with Mass Effect Andromeda. It's all a scavenger hunt

I never played the other two before playing TW3, which did not prevent me from understanding the story. The developers made sure to add details about the past, so newcomers to the saga would not feel lost or that they are missing on something. However, if you would like to understand the relationship between the characters on a deeper level, you should indeed play the two first games. It can help make relationship decisions that are true to the storyline. Beware, the first game mechanics are very different, as I myself recently discovered. The first game uses stance mechanics combined with clicking on the enemies on time to parry and deliver stonger blows or doing a combo. You also have a choice of 3 camera points of view, going from classic third person to isometric. Very cool!
