Very classy move on the NYI naming Jeff player of the game. Enjoy the well-earned retirement Jeff.
No, it's not, dude hasn't done anything since winning the cup 10 years ago LOL The only contribution to the team Jeff was a $3.5 million per year, players making less money by far contributed way more to the team. Thank God this guy isn't eating up anymore of the Pens salary!
So great that he scored, loved the respect he got from the refs and players.
Great guy & player. Wish him & his family all the best 👍🏻😎👍🏻🍻
This was great and a perfect example why this is the greatest sport in the world.
ABSOLUTELY
That was awesome! Good luck in the next phase in your life Carts! Hope you take a job with the Penguins in the future, you have a lot to offer the young kids coming into the league.
Hope he keeps working for the pens
Doing what?
Selling hot dogs at PPG?
Big Jeff Carter. Congrats on an amazing career!
Thanks, Carts. Glad we got to have you at the end of a great career . Enjoy the rest of your life with your family.
Congrats Jeff awesome career! And hey, i just bought your left over team stock of sticks....thanks man!
This is just amazing. Really love to see this. Love and congratulations to Carts!
Helped bring two cups to the kings, forever grateful
Carts is a legend, nothing but the best for him and his fam
Great career Jeff, This video also give a little perspective on Crosby's acute vision and passing ability to see Carter at the edge of the net and lays a perfect pass on the tape for an easy tap in.
Pure class. Thanks, Jeff.

😢
very cool for the islanders to do that and for the pens to bring his family down to the benches. i am guessing he is back with the pens in the front office in october.
Great career - glad to see the classy way the Islanders and refs respected his last game. Awesome that Sid found him in front for the goal too. Congratulations Jeff🤜🏻🤛🏻
This so made me cry!
Dude played 20 seasons, 3 in Pittsburgh. Dude aint a Penguin and I really don't care about the 'lore' behind this nonsense. Have a great retirement Jeff, but you're not a Penguin bruh
