It's been a long time coming and I've struggled figuring this out. But I've finally mastered my super defined twist out routine on my 4C hair. It's literally the perfect twist out.

Okay let’s pin this tweet so HOPEFULLLLLY people would stop acting a fool.
This video is over a year old. When this video was filmed I had never gotten any hair done by a professional or anything. I was simply winging it. Therefore I wasn’t properly conditioning my hair. With that being said I ASSUMED I only had 4C texture. Fast forward to May of 2019 I learned, “Oh shit! I have 4B!!” I saw my true curl pattern for the first time in my life. If you watch more previous videos you will see that I state I have 4B.. maybe a little 4C in the kitchen lol but majority 4B. No one was trying to capitalize on 4C textured women. While I’m sure some women do that for views THAT WAS NOT MY INTENTIONS. I did not even know 4C women pull more views or whatever. I simply thought I had 4C hair... now with that being said I know 4C women who have used this technique and it worked out fine so you can still learn from this video. Be blessed y’all

Honestly... I've always went in with a leave-in conditioner, then a twisting butter or cream, then gel I guess I'm doing this wrong lmao my styles never last very long like literally no longer than a day so I'm going to try this instead.

omgosh i've been doing it wrong this whole time! I have really thick 4c hair and i've been struggling to get a good twist out for months smh. I always end up wearing my hair in a puff due to failed attempts! I will definitely be trying these hair products and this method and see how it looks on my hair! Thanks for making this video!

Saaammmmmeeeeee I only started transitioning a few months ago so I only have like an inch of natural hair under my permed hair

The only protective style I do are two big feed in braids so it doesn't take long to do and I can deep condition every week or so

I've been natural for 5 years. I cut it into a tapered cut last year and growing it back out. I love protective styles like braids, buns, etc. But I love a good flat twist out too.

This came out amazing! I just started using the TGIN moisturizer and I love it! Do you do any special upkeep for the twist out when you head to bed? Or do you just put your hair in a bonnet?
Thank you so much! To be honest, I'm terrible with upkeep. I never retwist or anything because I'm usually drained. I just put a bonnet on and head to bed. In the mornings I shake my hair out and gently pull it. This typically works for like 4 days and then the remaining of the week it's in a puff until wash day.

Your hair is actually more so 4b (from what a I can see) than 4c because of the amount of curl definition that you have when your hair is dry and based on your wash/go video. The twist out is still beautiful and would work on both hair textures either way!
