So glad this video helped turn things around for you! Keep going, friend! Life can be hard…but these challenges are here to help us grow into greatness we are meant for.
Think if we put this much effort and discipline into our spiritual life what a wonderful world this would be! No more unbelief, irritability, hatred, backbiting, envy, self love, self pity, envy etc. If it was my goal to crush them- it would be heaven on earth! Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. I’m going first! That is really the important part of this message
Preach! What a beautiful world, indeed. Let’s create it! Goggins ultimately invites us to face the pain from our past. The pain we avoid. That is what holds us back from the greatness meant for us and causes us to live in fear and separation rather than in God. Goggins accesses these parts of himself by putting himself in challenge and suffering. When we release our past, we become free to be who we are meant to be.
Don't ever give up!!! United we stand, we learned to crawl them walk!!! Not walk and crawl!!! Train for battle!!! Train for life!!! We have all grown up not ever knowing when would be our last step or breath so don't ever question your own level of PAIN!!! PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE WHO THE F**K CAN SAY OUR PAIN AND WHAT WILL GIVE FOR WHAT WE LOVE. 🌒🌘🌍🌏🌝🌚🌄🌅⚡🔥🕌🗿⛩️🕍⛪🏯🏰🛕🕋🗻🗽🌐🎯🥇🥊🎰♥️🤍💙🏴☠️🇺🇸!!!
The biggest takeaway from this video is that real growth only happens when we embrace discomfort and push through pain. Goggins shows us that suffering is not the enemy, but the key to unlocking our true potential. Do you think most people avoid challenges because they fear failure more than they value growth?
Well said. Fear of pain (of all kinds) is the reason people avoid the challenges necessary for growth. But I think it’s deeper than this…it’s ultimately the pain of our past that we haven’t dealt with. We are afraid of THAT. We live to avoid experiencing that pain again…but that avoidance limits us, causing us to be afraid and let fear make us smaller than we are meant to be. We are prisoners of our past. That’s ultimately what Goggins’ message is when you dig into it. Face your past to become all you can be. And suffering is a perfect arena to face your past.
I waited years for promises from my family to come true, waiting to be included in their ventures. I started to notice slowly but surely I was being left behind, decisions getting made without me, houses getting sold without me and the list goes on. My wife had left I weighed 400lbs and hated myself. I decided it was enough. Sold my house. Moved 3 hours away bought 5 acres of land and started something scary. It's been the hardest thing I've ever done but you know what? I'm still here.
You stopped waiting and you started acting. Way to go, brother! Sounds like you are on the journey of finding true fulfillment. The best things are often the most challenging. Keep going! I’m excited for the greatness on the other side of suffering that you will discover. Thank you for sharing your story.
