Anytime I’m get really deep in my head and feel weak, like I feel like I can’t do it. I put on a video of him talking and it spark me back up. I have to do the work myself of course. He just helps. That simple. So thankful I found him.
At midnight, on New Years 2021, I did the Goggins challenge - 4 miles, every 4 hrs, for the next 48 hrs. I live in South Carolina, and a few minutes before I decided to do the challenge, I googled the weather for the upcoming two days, and it called for nothing but rain. For the next two days, it was cold, windy, wet, dark, cloudy, muddy, just pouring rain, and miserable. It definitely made me uncomfortable, and brought me out of my comfort zone. On the second day, at midnight, this challenge had me talking to myself. I opened my garage and heard nothing but the pouring rain, while staring into the darkness. My mind was telling me, "It's wet, cold, and raining. Just f@ck it. Let's go back to sleep." I had to tell my mind to quit being a little bitxh!!! Went out there, knocked it out, and got ready for the next run. At night, I would run around my house and yard. During the day, I ran around the neighborhood. It was always cold, raining, and my clothes felt like they were 30 pounds. Long story short, I completed the challenge Saturday night, and on Sunday afternoon, since the sky had cleared, I went for a quick 5k run, and clocked the fastest 5k since I had turned 30 (a 7:38 time average; I am 41 yes old). If you haven't done this challenge, I recommend you try it. It will change your life and way of thinking, but it's definitely not for the weak minded. The challenge is basically running 1 mile per every hour. It doesn't matter if you run, walk, crawl, just don't QUIT!!! Hardest thing is getting up during midnight and 4 am. If an old man like me can do it, you can too... stay hard!!! Keep grinding 💪. Can't stop, won't stop!!! 🏃♂️💨

@@rogerc23 yes he is. I have never heard of Goggins until 4 months ago too. At that time, I was 165 pounds, and looking for some motivation, but too lazy to workout or put in the work. I am 5'4, so the body weight was heavy for my size. I searched for motivational speeches on RUclips, and sure enough, Goggins immediately caught my attention. You can say that I liked his raw, old school, straight forward, no suger coated words. Since then, I have lost 40 pounds and have maintained a weight between 120-125. I just need to tone myself now. Goggins gave me the motivation, and I turned his motivation into determination, and now I'm working on the next level... which is discipline. Stay hard!!!

As a United States Infantry Sniper and professional boxer, this man has provided so, so, so much encouragement and inspiration that I have become addicted with self improvement, hard work, and dedication!!!!!!!! I have to have that shit as a ultra marathon runner and boxer because it’s a lonely field ; it’s your mind and that’s it. You cannot listen to people who are not willing to put in the hard work in order to be great, it’s you vs you man!!!!!!! Even when things get hard when you’re on that hard run, or that last set of pull-ups, even that moment when nobody wants to do a simple physical task because the weather is bringing discomfort. I've been broken and beat down by my ex husband. While lying on the floor after he pushed me into the wall, I looked at my young children who wanted to run to me but he wouldn't let them. I saw the fear. In that moment I knew I could end that fear forever. The next day i retained a lawyer and filed for divorce. 1 year later today I'm listening to this and going to the gym for the second day in a row. I've been broken and beat down by my ex husband. While lying on the floor after he pushed me into the wall, I looked at my young children who wanted to run to me but he wouldn't let them. I saw the fear. In that moment I knew I could end that fear forever. The next day i retained a lawyer and filed for divorce. 1 year later today I'm listening to this and going to the gym for the second day in a row.
