You got me still watching this as a paramedic. 7 years in the field! EMT for 5 You always remind me why I do this! Did my first needle decompression the other day. I love this job
Needle decompressions are not very common. I hope it went well.
Farooq Muhammad it did saved his life thanks dude! Stay safe bro
That's great Travis....congrats... I wish you the best.
This reminds me of the good old "Bodies R Hauled off" from the defuncted NYC*EMS
You got me still watching your music. Since a year and a half ago I became an EMT.
To all friends, family and fans out there. Thank you for showing so much support for this work. My new video is uploaded and will be ready to view on Thursday May 19th. It is called "Blue Star" I hope that you all enjoy it and continue to show love. I will try my best to have the songs available for download soon. For those of you who reached out to me and I did not get back to as of yet, I will make an effort to answer all your questions and comments. Take care and God bless.
Hey Farooq, great song, I sometimes play this while on duty especially after the frequent fliers runs, to remind me why I am here, for the true emergencies. Thank you so much for these videos.
Thank you for watching and being supportive. I hope I can continue to do more to represent EMS in a positive way.
The best decision i've ever made was becoming an EMT
Same!
Good videos in our profession are always great to see!! Good times!!!
Chicago EMT ! Keep up the great work!

Where is the difference?
Hello out Germany
Otto von Bismarck
EMT s are basic life support while advanced EMT s and paramedics are advanced life support
Aviation was stationed in The Bronx in Clason Point and was operating with Engine 96 Ladder 54 Battalion 3 Division 6 EMS Station 26 with 82 Nora and 82 Mary
Amazing job! My friend is in this vibeo. I live in Atlanta and this reminds me of home. I miss NYC.
The best EMS company in the world. 1,000,000+ calls a year.
I worked Brooklyn for my 19 1/2 years as as a paramedic, I worked with many, some of the best of the best. This video is EMS in a nutshell. Well done. And to Paramedic Bill S, enjoy your retirement .
Excellent job - we needed something like this - special just for us!! Thank you !!
Farooqe Muhammad, I really love what you are doing. Your videos have helped inspire me to become a Paramedic in Canada, British Columbia.
Thank You very much and please continue producing music videos like that because they really show what EMS work is all about!!!
Friend, u r a legend. Never forget until years. I am EMT from Turkey.
It's about time someone told it like it is. I am glad talented people like yourself can use your other GOD given talent to HONOR all of us in EMS. I teach EMS and have been a Paramedic for 17 years, I have not in all that time seen anything like this. This video is AWESOME! I am making all my students watch this video, it's a must watch video. Best of Luck.
I’m a former volunteer firefighter in the FDNY with Engine 10, I responded to the World Trade Center on 9/11 from my former high school on Church Street in Lower Manhattan, my engine company (Engine 10) responded with Ladder 10, Ladder 8, Engine 7 Ladder 1 and Battalion 1, I responded to all medial emergencies and fires such as a 5th alarm fire before 9/11, a water rescue in Harlem, a stuck elevator in Midtown Manhattan, a burned out elevator engine in Lower Manhattan, a steam explosion in Lower Manhattan, even a near crane collapse in Lower Manhattan.
Vincent Fire Rescue representin' here.....awesome video man!!!!! I loved the song!!!! Gotta make one about firefighters.... Great job!! Stay safe! 803 clear...
Love the video! Be safe in the streets my EMS brothers!
farooq, ur amazing at these videos. uve also inspired me to become an emt
"Not for money fantasy, or about getting paid
Just here so hopefully you can live another day."
You gotta have the heart to become an EMS.
I am going for Paramedic career!!! I love the job and this video is so true, I like it a lot!!!!!! please post on more :)
Great job Farouk, I miss the old gang. Keep up the good work and stay safe, Yitz
Woooohoooo!!! Great Job Farooq!!!
Farooq bredrin,, this is wicked watching it again on my PC as oppose to watching it on a cellphone is awsome.. To all members of NYC EMS EMT's and PARAMEDICS, we are truly the best...Nuff respect Farooq........
@coreyclips I been on my local ambulance up here in CT since 2006, i've seen death, and critically injured...It like what FireEMSRescue said you just need to be there to help others and there families. It just takes time. When I started on the ambulance I just wanted to drive and wanted nothing to do with the back, and now I am an Emergency Medical Responder (basically a driver with a title) but I get to do more in the back and I love it so much that I am going for EMT!!!
Charlotte Paramedic. Mad props!!!! Thanks for sending a cool professional message and taking pride.
I couldn't imagine wearing a bullet proof vest to fires and medicals. But at the rate things are going now, it's going to be a priority for me.
Yeah, there's been much discussion for EMT's becoming armed. Like with a Taser, and definitely more PPE.
Are you EMT? Maybe advice for when I become EMT?
There are a couple of cities in my area where police/fire overlap. I know Sunnyvale does that and I think the other one is Rohnert Park.
Hobbitchoker also in Germany EMTs MUST wear Protection Vests and Peppersprays and also get trained in Marterial Arts like Aikido or Krav Maga.
Because sick Freaks also calling 112 (Emergencycall for Fire and EMS in Germany) only with the goal to Attack my brothers and sisters. Cause of that also in many cities gets Police and EMS or a Fire Engine called same time with an Ambulance. Fire Engine if Police isn't availeble so that 9 firefighters on scene to protect the EMS
That was 5 years ago.. what about today? its a scary world
We watched this in my Intro to 911 class today :D
i love this song i listen to it everyday
Amazing keep it up
Keeping it real. Thank you for saving lives everyday. PLG in Manhattan.
Great song Farooq. Shout out from Brooklyn, keep holding EMS high.
B.R.A.V.O. Member
I listen to this everyday
ur awesome farooq, i love both ur videos, and when i grow up, im gonna be an EMT just like u
Kickin' it, old school. Good job, Farooq.
@ghettochen Some EMT progams in the city have their students ride with us. Call the FDNY at 718 999 2000 and ask for info. You never know.
Awsome job, love it!
I blast this when I'm responding on my Ambulance or when I respond to my Fire Station thanks for the motivation! Your EMS songs got me through my EMT-B class ! Stay safe out there brother.
Best regards and respect from the British Red Cross EMS
Hey KCH!! Just sending you love from the 67 for this cool video. You 38 guys are the best around, keep on saving those lives out there. Stay safe!!
Thanks For Saving NYC Peoples Lives
@neilandbob911 Hahaha...I appreciate the comment. Well the thing is I love my job and love rapping about it. EMS doesn't get a lot of positive feedback and so far my videos have brought EMS a lot of positive press and that makes me happy. My brothers and sisters out in EMS do a fine job and I love them for what they do. As far as the "brain attack" goes the American Heart Association made that term to refer to strokes so the layman would understand it easier. I didn't make it up. Take care.
Dude, freaking awesome video!
I was one of the few people who watched ithis 2010 I was a Lifeguard at that time, but every time I hit thy gym listen to this one and guess what?
After 5 years, I passed and obtain my EMT certification.
Thanks Farook!
Both of these videos are fantastic - and bring back all kinds of good memories! I don't even like rap music and I can't get this tune in particular out of my head. Great work, Farooq.
Awesome song and video. Thanks to all emergency responders for all the great work you do 24/7.
Greetings from Warsaw EMS, greetings from Poland.
love it here in tennessee! keep up the good work.....ems rocks!
I am very proud of this video and even more proud of my old partner. We both worked at 57 in the early days. He was a good partner and a good person. I love the video and the way he presents EMS for what we do and what we stand for. Thank you Farooq and God bless. For all those haters out there, just dont call EMS. When its you and your family call Black Pearl, a private ambulance company or your friend down the block and get to the hospital any way you can. Dial 311, 411, 611, not 911.
that is the best song i ever saw farooq is the best singer ever.
Thank you Kevin...I'll try my best to make as many as I can. Peace.
Very nice song, very nice persons, very nice jog ! Greetings from EMS of Portugal !
I want to take a minute and just thank all you wonderful people for sending me these great comments....I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me to get this awesome feedback from you. Take care and be safe.
Farooq.
Love them both...you have done an excellent job - no one understands more than those that work the streets.
Farooq awesome job. It was worth the wait.
Great Job! I will be showing this to my Paramedic class!!!
Thanks a lot....keep safe out there....peace.
this is a great video. I've watched it several mornings as motivation to get out there and try to save the world.
Farooq and Chris, I used to wear the green out of Cumberland (fmr. Sta. 36, don't know what FDNY EMS calls it now, or if it's still there) 26 years ago. Things sure have changed in a quarter century! As a former paramedic now working to be a doctor (PhD, not MD), I love your video! Beautiful job - you make me proud, too!
awesome video!!!!!! nice work. really enjoyed it. lots of respect from California. hope to hear from you Farooq. FDNY Remember the Fallen

When he was on the roof of the station, i kept thinking, he is going to fall off of the roof. I want to be an EMT and plan on starting my training in a few months
I wish you the best in everything you do.
I thank all my EMS family and everybody else for watching this video and sharing your feedback. We made this video with the best of intentions. Those out there with hate in their hearts who are attempting to elicit a response from us won't be entertained.
This is the best music in the worsd! Long live the paramedics! Paramedic is the real rap! Regards Seroqell.Armin Kasza Hungary Budapest XXI.

Greatings from Germany
@coreyclips It's something you have to commit yourself to. You have to be willing to take action when others need your help. Try volunteering at your local EMS service and see how you feel doing the job. Thanks for watching and I'm sure you will do great. Helping people is just something that comes natural.
