The fact they killed off one of the main protagonists like a side character really pisses me off. I was expecting Gaz or Price to die seeing as they have had plenty of story since MW19. But no they give Soap and Ghost a dope character arc and bromance in MWII and then proceed to kill off Soap. Writing was awful in this game too.

the old death doesn't even compare, Soap became a captain and was considered almost a son to Price, his death impacted until the end of the classic mw3, the death of the new mw3 doesn't even compare, without any salt
People don’t realize that Price didn’t teach soap in the reboot. Ghost trained Soap and Gaz was trained by Price. That’s why Price and Gaz went to defuse the bomb and Ghost was feeling Soaps heartbeat slip away. Ghost was more of a mentor and a brother to soap than anyone else in the game that’s why he has the biggest reaction. He can’t talk he can’t defuse the bomb and he won’t cry. He just sits there with Johnny in his last moments

This is why the original will always be the best. The amount of pain in Price's voice when Soap slips away, then the absolute death glare he gives Yuri as he's probably blaming him at that point. Then the reboot, Price just sharply inhales and every one is just like 'so this happened.' Like sure, Ghost was closer to Soap in the reboot, and was practically a younger brother than him, and therefore, should have had the same amount of desperate reaction that Price had but instead he just looks over like 'the hell bruh?'
