Anybody who thinks that these artist-types being shown throughout the video are going to revive anything are delusional. And what's with the ridiculous ethereal music?
90 percent of the film footage in this is not in any way related to places under discussion. And then there are those ridiculous cheery little messages of rebirth in each city.
These cities are declining because foreign countries can manufacture the same products more cheaply. That's why we need Tariffs. These cities will stay dead because there is no incentive to manufacture there and sell their products. Thank You for this Video !
Not at all. This is not top 10 video classification, it's only 10 cities that "dead forever". But thank you for asking that question. Is there any topic that you would like us to research and post video about?
I hate these videos that give such false titles, you say dead forever and then give the same narative of hope rising. Just say what iot really is, and don't misrepresent with wrong photos, I dont hink East St Louis is sub tropical!
I liked your show, part of the problem of the collapse has to do with corruption, mismanagement, ineptitude. Watch the movie TUCKER where a man wants to build a better car, and he is crushed by the competition, who violate the man's rights to destroy him and his dreams in order avoid retooling, staying and staying competitive. And as a result, the USA lost its competitive edge, and our economy and society has been going into a tailspin. When we destroy our best and brightest, we are left with our dumbest and scum-est. May god have mercy on us all.
Thank you for pointing that out. This was more educational type of video, connected with video footage that is matching with the story. Sometimes is impossible to match everything. We are in the process of improving our skills and footage library.
Some of the footage in this video is used to complement the script and narration, and while it enhances the overall experience, not every clip is directly tied to the specific city being discussed.
I am a Truck driver and had to deliver to the old rail docks, and it was scary; I had to disconnect and park my truck and then wait for morning to be inspected and empted. Wow, this was a ride to the dark side never again.
The down town is far better now than it has been in 50 years. However, the neighborhoods ARE gone for the foreseeable future because their is no reason for their existence anymore. 🤷♂️
You bring up an important point as crime, corruption, and political influence can definitely shape the fate of a city. Long-term governance plays a huge role in whether a place thrives or declines. I'd be curious to hear your take on how leadership and policies could change things for the better. Do you think new political leadership, community-driven efforts, or something else entirely would be the key to turning things around?
recently, flint took another hit, GM is moving to Mexico. keep voting blue and all this is you. high taxes and soft on crime and the money will move out. the money can afford to move and you can't.
Anyone notice a hammer and sickle atop a building in Centralia, PA?
I'm third generation from Camden, it was never good
Yes it was, just before blacks arrived.
@@NoahBodze where you from ,blacks have always been in Camden, they use to shoot Tarzan movies there
@NoahBodze Nah it was before that. I mean ask Howard Unruh how he felt one day. Guess what, Howard Unruh isn't black. Whoops
@@NoahBodze That is the sad fate of so many cities.
I live across from Camden it's Has been interesting

Thank you for your comment. We are still living in the hope that will happen one day.

Ah yes, Detriot being #1 for all the wrong reasons.

I'd rather see the actual pictures of the cities you're talking about.
Thank you for your comment! WIll try to improve ourselves.

Thank you for your comment! What part of the video exactly you don’t agree with?
Vietnamese ?? Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
East St. Louis is in Illinois, across the river from the Arch. It doesn't have tropical foliage, either.
It's sad those huge beautiful homes in Detroit turning into blight .

I like this video except the use of images and drone views that do not belong the city you are talking about..

Sure keep
On thinking that bro 😮
Chernobyl?? Viet Nam?? Russia? This is BS. Use US cities to document US cities.

@@globalquesters Which makes no sense at all.
Detroit is on it's way back.

DETROIT was never on its way back! It will ALWAYS be a SLUM!
I have heard that since the mid-sixties. Detroit is still a pit.
The down town is far better now than it has been in 50 years. However, the neighborhoods ARE gone for the foreseeable future because their is no reason for their existence anymore. 🤷♂️
It gives a hope.
And kuddos to both Camden nj and east Cleveland Ohio too folks 😮
I can't more agree with you!
You don't mention the crime and corruption and what political party that has been in power for years

@globalquesters : People find it's easier to blame a political party than to come up with real proven solutions to the problems.
Gary and flint oh brother🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽🚽👮🚽🚽🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌😫🚬
Unfortunatelly you are right. I hope is getting better.
GM is leaving flint and moving to Mexico, only getting worse.
