Indeed! My husband and I are age 57 this year, he has experience as a child with dogs and I do not have any experience, so we have yet to become dog owners as a married couple. Augusto is brilliant, truly a God sent MASTER handler. I have learned so much in these past weeks from him. None compare!

There is always a dog out there for you to home that won't feel like a responsibility but just another member of the family. You can handle it I'm sure of it, find a breed that best matches you.

I don't think augusto knows how special he is. That's my gift of being able to feel other people's feelings and read their body language. I love his combination of a strong will together with his ability to have self-control and wait for the right time. I was just laying here in so much pain emotionally and his spirit is so calming and his nature is authentic and it radiates outside of him. Unless you're an empath you might not understand. It's that same energy that he uses to essentially speak to the dogs. Dogs are empaths. They read people so well. After my husband passed away unexpectedly on our kitchen floor, I came home and my dog immediately jumped in my bed and plastered her body against mine. I didn't have to ask her. I was surprised but, she knew he was gone. She kept me warm that winter and it wasn't long before I looked over and she was sleeping on her back with her head on the pillow. If I started to cry, she started to cry. She was able to make the same sounds that I was making. I call her my girlfriend because, she's the only friend I have. I pray that augusto will continue to have nothing but success. I pray that he is safe and joyful. Hearing about the times in his life when he was sad and now seeing how happy he is gives me hope. Your story touched me greatly. My father was born in Portugal but raised in Brazil. He moved to Los Angeles when he was 18. He gave me my deep love for animals. He raised me on a small farm in Alabama but he passed in 2017, so just hearing your accent brings joy to my ❤️. What they did to you out of pure jealousy breaks my 💔.

I have rescue chickens, cats and dogs and live in the country. Had horses too but I hate trudging out to feed them in February blizzards so when they each died of old age I didn’t get another. You are an amazing young man. You have my respect for your dedication to your dogs. I completely feel the same. I have been made aware by authorities that I was at the limit for dogs. And that didn't include the cat the birds, the rabbit, and the gerbils.
German Shepherds were my first dogs. I had 3. Love them.
I had 3 too! 1 was a beautiful red shepherd. ❤
I had a shepherd mix and she was awesome! I had no idea that other dogs weren’t capable of amazing feats, like mine. She was mixed with boxer and pit. We were told boxer, and she did resemble the boxer shepherd mixes one sees if you look up on RUclips, but she also had the pit personality and her coloration was like some pits… I can’t find any online, with coloration like mine, but she was a great size, beautiful form with shepherd straight up ears and short gold and white fur, but slightly thicker around the chest and back, oh she was a mega shedder… but smart as a whip and could catch anything … I chose her at a pet store, as one side of her face was white and the other side gold, right down the middle. I’ve only seen a few pits with similar. But that shepherd in her, really made her super trainable and smart. The put made her cuddly and the boxer was just the thing to make her overall shape nice.

@@stj971 Unfortunately you're wrong about Brazil. My last boss was a young Brazilian guy who told me a fair bit about the classiest and racist divide there between the white Brazilians (descendents of Europeans) and the darker skinned indigenous Brazilians like Augusto. It's one of the reasons my old boss left. He was darker skinned like Augusto and wanted to be somewhere where the content of his character and his potential counted more and he wouldn't be held back and judged because of his skin colour.

You have an amazing story. I am a GSD lover. I have had 4. I had an issue with my local animal control. They didnt like the 2 I had at the time. They were relentless. Long story short, I closed my business and moved. We lived happily on a country property, Until they passed.
Was it worth closing my business? Hell yes. They were my Girls.

Honestly I am so glad there is still someone like you in this world that genuinely cares about dogs like you do. I only became caring about homeless dogs and seeing dogs getting abused and neglected on the news when I got my first GSD last October. As I am more aware of the harsh reality dogs are living through in their day to day, it makes me really sad that these dogs are leaving their dog parents at such a young age and not getting the love and best life they deserve. With the dog regulations that we put to reduce problems for dogs actually create more problems for them as these regulations are generalizing the needs of all dogs and not individual dogs' needs. This is why we still have dogs being mistreated and neglected into animal shelters.
Please keep doing what you are doing for the dogs, and I hope there are many more out there that cares about dogs and are doing what is helping the dogs live their best life they deserve!

It's so unfortunate that people can't mind their own damn business. That's the trouble with today's society, everybody has to have their nose in everything. I just saw one of your videos and was completely amazed so I started watching. Keep up the good work and let the haters hate because at the end of the day, you have your dogs that love you and depend on you and all they have is hate. We all know which one will prevail.

I really appreciate these videos, it has helped me with my dogs, I looked back in your videos for the “raid” but didn’t see it. I found many hater sites that just show how crazy and jealous they are and I just wanted to say it looks like you have waaaaayyyy more supporters than critics! I am in the supporter camp. Thanks so much and keep your head up! Your animals were and are beautiful, well taken care of and are rolemodels for some of americas most spoiled humanized pets. Mine were driving me crazy till i used some of your suggestions and it worked in one day, less barking, fighting with each other, potty accidents in our personal areas like our bedrooms, chewing household objects even though they have more toys than the toystore lol thanks again!
