This video is a godsend. I've had a hard time finding study material for the container objectives of the RHCSA exam and you explain it very clearly. Thank you!
Currently out of work as I've been studying for the exam, but as soon as I've got a paycheck come in I've got your kofi bookmarked for all the help your channel has been. Wonderful stuff, keep it up.
Great video and thanks for sharing. I wish you also added info on how to operate rootless containers. They are giving me hard time when building shared folders and creating files there. Thanks.
man you are godsend. I;m busting myself everyday getting ready for the exam and i went to check the objectives to make sure i got everything covered and then i see new stuff like containers and scripting? Im ok with basic scripting but the containers is an exam breaker for me. So glad I found you! Edit. Will this video cover everything on containers or will you add more?
kinda ridiculous, I have been practicing fro this exam over months, when I scheduled it 2 weeks ago there weren't these objectives, now that I check the website again they add scripts and containers, awesome! My exam is in a couple of days and I have to learn new stuff for it and still revise the old, honestly ridiculous how they can add shit to it when they want, totally caught me off guard, but oh well at least you put this content here, which I'm gonna consume, and practice hard these upcoming days, it just sucks kinda took away some of m y confidence man, but anyways thanks for posting this vid, I hope it will help me out
@@compsecgadgets Thanks brotha! So apparently REDHAT gifts people their new containers course, if they were in similar situation than mine, idk the specific reasons, but you can check it out if you qualify for the promo. But an update about myself, is that I actually was suppose to take my exam today, but I rescheduled it for the next days. Honestly, I still can't access their new Containers course for some reason, there's some error on their part, but I just can't access it on my account, so I have been on contact with different red-hot support teams, and till this day none of them were able to help me. Which bums me out of course, because I had tremendous respect for them, but now it just shows how shitty their customer support is.
hi, my doubt is like you accessed web page showing " it works" from httpd container image but inorder to make that webpage which shows "it works" you need to install httpd package using yum and start and enable the service and so on then what exactly is the purpose of container
Hey there so what a container does is contain the essential parts only for example the HTTPD package. All the operating systems functions run from you system and are shared, this means that you don't require multiple servers if you have a large enough host system. You also have capability to do auto scaling and the like.
Today I appear for Rhcsa exam and passed with 257 out 300.. I have prepared the portion running container very well but I couldn't reflect that in my results.. I get 0% in running container section.. when I try to use the flag --new in podman generate systemd .. it's shows like it's an unknown flag.. why it show like that..

Still to add a little more to cover everything will also do some scripting too
Thanks
Nice video. Is it possible to use the internet connection on the RHCSA exam?
No it wouldn't be part of the exam, the repos/URLs would be locally based.

The idea is to. However just need to cover a bit more around Containers and then touch on scripting. Will cover in the coming video. Hope that helps
Can you tell me when will you be uploading the contents as i am going to have my Rhcsa soon
Within the next couple of weeks you should be able to practice all the remaining by looking up podman and she'll scripting hope that helps!

Sir i am trying 1st using a user acc. But when I entered sudo bash like you, it replies not in sudoers files. Can you please explain this..?
You'll need to login as root and add yourself to sudoers. I have instructions here ruclips.net/video/G1AH-jityvk/видео.html
@@compsecgadgets thank you for help... But i have a doubt.. Yours cengland acc wasn't include in suoders, then how could it use sudo bash?
I had added in an earlier video if you start at the beginning of the Rhcsa series of videos it's in chronological order
@@compsecgadgets ok thanks for the help
How can I get in contact with you? love your explanation...
That isn't something I can accomidate right now with my full time job. However, reachout on the discord channel and i will try to answer what I can.

Congratulations on passing! Without seeing the entire command I cannot be sure what is causing the issue, I'm afraid.
