The government wants Tax from citizens and expects all to file returns, sets deadlines etc. But they don't set dead lines for themselves. So long as the income tax portal was maintained by TATA( TCS) it was functioning very well. After handing over it to Infosys a lot of problems have been occurring for the last 3 years. I also filed on 27 th June 24, but till date it is not processed. Very shabby IT department.

2) Refund amount is less then 5000

In my case no TDS was deducted, so no question of expecting Refund, and ITR was filed where there is no liability for payment of any tax, so Demand to pay tax is also not expected madam.
I am waiting for assessment order under section 139 (1).for the AY 2024-25.

The problem is that employer issues Form 16 as per salary but AIS shows all pan linked transactions of the individual that mismatches. So, it is impossible to process as per rule. There is issue from the government side. Government needs money as much as possible from the individual but there are problems of implementation.

Husband and wife file returns on a particlar day.
Husband's got intimation in 2 days. Wife has not received even after month.
In which order do they process?

is seen from Income Tax Portal that for AY the processing of your return is inprogress and the same will be done based on various automated validations and risk parameter analysis. Also certain claims made by you in the return will be validated on system driven environment. CPC will send intimation to your registered email id once the processing gets completed. The taxpayer's patience in this regard is highly appreciated. Iska matlab kya hai.

It means your return is under process and will automatically process by various software validations. You will get intimation after that

Mam i received intrest from post office saving ac but showed that amount in deposit (post office) column. My itr is processed with no payment due but in portal it is reflecting processed with due. There is no amount reflecting in outstanding demand.

I have received intimation from itr department in this intimate they are saying raise the issue refund reissue rather then my itr did not processed when i am rasing refund reissue request then show result like you have no refund failure
