- "ACTIONS: Using the subtle power in our hands, we try to lift the Kundalini, like lifting nice cool water, with our left hand. We do this my slowly raising the left hand (palm facing the body, fingers pointing to the right) up the body while the right hand rotates continuously around it from the outer surface of the left hand to the inner. Above our head we tie a bow, 1, 2, then 3 times as in the song. Like this, we are reminding ourselves to keep our attention just above our head during meditation."
Lyrics:
Uppy, uppy, uppy, Mother Kundalini, ONE.
Uppy, uppy, uppy, Mother Kundalini, ONE, TWO.
Uppy, uppy, uppy, Mother Kundalini, ONE, TWO, THREE!
This energy we all have is called the Kundalini in Sanskrit, an ancient language from India. There are seven energy centres located along the path of the kundalini that give us wonderful qualities after we meditate. Each centre creates a subtle sound when the energy passes through it. Coincidentally, Sanskrit includes all those sounds in its letters. That is why some lyrics in this booklet are in Sanskrit. The seven centres also correspond to the seven musical notes which is why singing and listening to music is so beneficial. The Kundalini does not rise without our sincere wish. Out attempts to help it rise can improve the quality of our meditation."
