I'm not sure if you actually understood the point of this software. "Cascadeur" means "stuntman" in French. This tool is designed to help you animate complicated stunts, by calculating and proposing you a physically correct animation trayectory, to match the keyposes you have placed beforehand. Not only does it correct your animation path, but it also corrects the timing! - That is what makes it amazing.
@jefha it will be quite useful if you could only block those feet while you're creating the interpolation. Cause right now it slides a lot. Maybe there's a way but he didn't mentioned it at least. Or even when you're grabbing a cup of coffee. How the AI handles those situations. You have to block the hand in some way so you don't get your coffee all over the place :)
That's what I wondered too. Because at one point he moved the characters arm around and described it as the physics in action. When in reality what he was demonstrating was conventional IK which is present in all major 3D programs.
@@CoffeeConnected But I don't think you understood the difference between cascadeur and the others. Cascadeur seems to add a limit rotation constraint to each bone, and when you move the hand for example, that IK gets what should be moving at the same time like automatic weights depending on what you move. But those I don't think you get it all just from assigning controllers to your existing bones. They must have other options for that. But in the meantime it sounds like something only reliable for stuntman things an not the main animation.
I wasted a lot of time trying to find an explanation like this. We all know, you don't have to give up, you have to keep looking until you get the good video ... Fabulous man, thank you very much.
Stick with it bro, it can feel overwhelming when you compare yourself with huge companies...but one thing you got going big is that dream to make a great game. So follow your dreams. I'm gonna make it my goal for the remainder of this year that I start work on my own game project.

a lot of games need this. go and compare the animations of Dead or Alive 6 to Tekken 7. its incredible how bad the animations of DoA are compared to the 3D character models.
@@Senumunu Yeah, but Rogue Company landing animations are stiff as a brick, Take for example the stiffness of PUBG, in that game it doesnt matter that much because the game doesnt have the intenton to be dynamic, but RC does, that is why this game in particular needs to have better animations to correctly show that, it shows that it is a team based TPS shooter but "Fails" to correctly express his intentons about dynamic movement. Right I finished watching the video and yeah you export the animated characters.
