"Russia's FSB had lined up at least two pro-Russian governments ahead of invasion. A Washington Post investigation found the FSB had worked closely with former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych and pro-Kremlin politician Viktor Medvedchuk." August 19th, 2022 - It's interesting to see it confirmed publicly now even though we talked about it months ago at 10:30

I like the fact that Ukraine is trying to keep the Museum as a tourist attraction so in a way it belongs to the citizens of Ukraine, as a way of saying “this is where your tax money was going during Yanukovych’s time, as President of Ukraine from 2010-2014, now it belongs to you”,
    🇺🇦😁👍🏼

The Pandora Papers identified Ukraine as the country with the most politicians hiding money off-shore, including Zelensky. I'm sure Yanukovych was corrupt too. However, my tax dollars didn't prop up Yanukovych. My tax dollars are going to Zelensky's corrupt regime though

The Autobiography of Yanukovych from 1997-2014:-
After rejecting the Ukrainian-European Association Agreement, Yanukovych was ousted from office in the Revolution of Dignity.
He currently lives in exile in Russia.
Yanukovych served as the governor of Donetsk Oblast, a province in eastern Ukraine, from 1997 to 2002.
He was Prime Minister of Ukraine from 21 November 2002 to 7 December 2004 and from 28 December 2004 to 5 January 2005, under President Leonid Kuchma.
Yanukovych first ran for president in 2004: he advanced to the runoff election and was initially declared the winner against former Prime Minister Viktor Yushchenko.
However, the election was fraught with allegations of electoral fraud and voter intimidation.
This caused widespread citizen protests and Kyiv's Independence Square was occupied in what became known as the Orange Revolution.
The Ukrainian Supreme Court nullified the runoff election and ordered a second runoff.
Yanukovych lost this second election to Yushchenko.
He served as Prime Minister for a second time from 4 August 2006 to 18 December 2007, under President Yushchenko.
Yanukovych was elected president in 2010, defeating Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
The election was judged free and fair by international observers.
November 2013 saw the beginning of a series of events that led to his ousting as president.
Yanukovych rejected a pending EU association agreement, choosing instead to pursue a Russian loan bailout and closer ties with Russia.
This led to protests and the occupation of Kyiv's Independence Square, a series of events dubbed the "Euromaidan" by proponents of aligning Ukraine toward the European Union.
In January 2014, this developed into deadly clashes in Independence Square and in other areas across Ukraine, as Ukrainian citizens confronted the Berkut and other special police units.
In February 2014, Ukraine appeared to be on the brink of civil war, as violent clashes between protesters and special police forces led to many deaths and injuries.
On 21 February 2014, Yanukovych claimed that, after lengthy discussions, he had reached an agreement with the opposition.
Later that day, however, he left the capital for Kharkiv, saying his car was shot at as he left Kyiv, and travelling next to Crimea, and eventually to exile in southern Russia.
On 22 February 2014, the Ukrainian parliament voted to remove him from his post and schedule new elections on the grounds that he "has restrained himself from performing his constitutional duties" and effectively resigned, rather than by following the impeachment process for criminal acts under Article 108 of the Ukrainian constitution.
Parliament set 25 May as the date for the special election to select his replacement, and, two days later, issued a warrant for his arrest, accusing him of "mass killing of civilians."
After his departure, Yanukovych conducted several press conferences. In one of these, he declared himself to remain "the legitimate head of the Ukrainian state elected in a free vote by Ukrainian citizens".
On 18 June 2015, Yanukovych was officially deprived of the title of president by the parliament.
On 24 January 2019, he was sentenced in absentia to thirteen years' imprisonment for high treason by a Ukrainian court.

Regardless of the money used, the beautiful architecture and art will be a great source of income for the country through tourism. Reminds me of the stories of King Ludwig of Germany. Who also was accused of opulence. However, visit his Castles. Worth every penny for the tour. Beauty to the eye.

Crazy King Ludwig bankrupted his country so much that he couldn’t even finish building his most famous castle. Despots with this mindset think there’s an endless supply of money, until it’s truly all gone. They don’t desire to serve the people, don’t think about improving life for the common man! This is a good demonstration of why we need democracy, leaders who truly see themselves as daily Servants of the People!

Unbelievable home and property , I’m actually amazed the Russians didn’t end up missiling this one too, they may yet of course. What decadence, while so many people starve or have so little to live on. So typical of that mindset, so crooked. Thank you for making yet another great video Johnny, so glad you’re staying there to spread all of this information to the rest of us in the world. You are doing the Ukrainians a wonderful service, they need help and exposure.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

I'll say I have respect for Roman, but saying people are rats and should be shamed over leaving the country due to war, it's not really fair.
I'll gladly and proudly say i'm one of those who left the country with my wife, mother-in-law and my back then 2 weeks newborn son.
Saying that "everyone" can do "something" isn't really true in my eyes, and excuse me for saying this, I would have been in the way if I stayed, and I would have brought my family even more in danger.
Again huge respect to all the people who are there currently helping with what they can, but with all due respect don't shame people because they left and for sure not call them rats.
To Johnny, keep up the good content, you are doing a huge job providing this to the world, showing them how things are right now! Huge respect for that!

I think he was just speaking out of emotion, and I understand where he's coming from. But I agree that staying in Ukraine during the war isn't a helpful solution either and is often more of a liability than help.
But he is right that everyone can do something to help, but that can be helping fight misinformation online, fundraising, going to protests, etc. regardless of where they are in the world.

Thanks for tghis presentation. I fully support this property being confiscated by the Ukrainian authorities & great to see the proceeds from tours paying for the property's maintenance. I would like a hotel built & rental cabins & and a caravan park constructed to boost tourist numbers. More importantly, the facilities could be used as a rest & recreation centre for troops needing R&R from the fighting. I admire Pres. Zelenskyy who has proved to be one of the foremost leaders of the 21st century. His "Family" of citizens can be very proud of his achievements to date, particularly his inspiration of hope, patriotism, confidence. love & trust in fellow citizens & the "we will never surrender" attitude. You all have my admiration & best wishes for an early victory ovrer the invaders.
