I like the fact that Ukraine is trying to keep the Museum as a tourist attraction so in a way it belongs to the citizens of Ukraine, as a way of saying “this is where your tax money was going during Yanukovych’s time, as President of Ukraine from 2010-2014, now it belongs to you”, 🇺🇦😁👍🏼
The Pandora Papers identified Ukraine as the country with the most politicians hiding money off-shore, including Zelensky. I'm sure Yanukovych was corrupt too. However, my tax dollars didn't prop up Yanukovych. My tax dollars are going to Zelensky's corrupt regime though

The election was judged free and fair by international observers. November 2013 saw the beginning of a series of events that led to his ousting as president. This led to protests and the occupation of Kyiv's Independence Square, a series of events dubbed the "Euromaidan" by proponents of aligning Ukraine toward the European Union. In January 2014, this developed into deadly clashes in Independence Square and in other areas across Ukraine, as Ukrainian citizens confronted the Berkut and other special police units. In February 2014, Ukraine appeared to be on the brink of civil war, as violent clashes between protesters and special police forces led to many deaths and injuries. On 21 February 2014, Yanukovych claimed that, after lengthy discussions, he had reached an agreement with the opposition. Later that day, however, he left the capital for Kharkiv, saying his car was shot at as he left Kyiv, and travelling next to Crimea, and eventually to exile in southern Russia. On 22 February 2014, the Ukrainian parliament voted to remove him from his post and schedule new elections on the grounds that he "has restrained himself from performing his constitutional duties" and effectively resigned, rather than by following the impeachment process for criminal acts under Article 108 of the Ukrainian constitution. Parliament set 25 May as the date for the special election to select his replacement, and, two days later, issued a warrant for his arrest, accusing him of "mass killing of civilians." After his departure, Yanukovych conducted several press conferences. On 18 June 2015, Yanukovych was officially deprived of the title of president by the parliament. On 24 January 2019, he was sentenced in absentia to thirteen years' imprisonment for high treason by a Ukrainian court. How much money do you think he has pilfered from the TAX system for 17 years? 🤔

His response to international tourism interested in visiting that museum of corruption is right there the most important part. Don't just come there. Visit the entire country of Ukraine. That small sentence is how Ukraine will eventually survive the destruction of that country as we've seen it become over last decade.
Back in 2018 when I was in Ukraine, one of the many tourist attractions I visited was the Yanukovych Mansion. Unfortunately when I was there the interior was closed, I could only see by looking through the windows. Thanks to Johnny FD for taking us on this guided tour.
I’m learning and witnessing a lot from your videos, Johnny. Such an amazing country. You guys are doing good things. I’m happy you went back, but sad to see the death and destruction that is happening to these beautiful innocent Ukrainians. Ukraine will overcome! Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦
I’m so glad you decided to go back to the Ukraine. Showing us what’s happening on the ground in the Ukraine is real not what the MSM is showing everyone. It’s amazing what being corrupt will buy you, that place is freaking crazy.
I can't imagine having that much money! It's beautiful there. I may be poor, but I'm honest. If I had a choice I'd choose honesty over corruption any day. Those cars are really cool. I don't own a car. It's better that way because if I had one and it broke down I couldn't afford to fix it. That's why we decided we were better off without one. Very interesting video. Thank you.
OMG we were just in this place last September and the same guide is in the house! It was worth touring the house just to put the scale of opulence into perspective. It also helped us to learn what happened in 2014. The grounds were massive and beautiful, and seemed to be enjoyed by many locals the day we were there. Saw people taking wedding photos in the gardens.
That is a strange coincidence, I was there in the same month. So how were you able to know that you had to book the tour days in advance? I can only presume you speak the language. Did you get the tour in English or was there an extra charge for a translator?
@@Gary-Seven-and-Isis-in-1968 when we bought the tickets at the front gate, we had no idea how to get in the house tour. We were there with a Ukrainian friend, and he helped us. There were signs on the door of the house and a phone number to call. The tour guide was the same guy that was in this video, and he may have been the only tour guide for they have for this house. Our Ukrainian friend arranged the tour over the phone with him, and we had to pay in cash. So the tour was in Ukranian only, but luckily we had this friend with us. Booking a tour for this was nothing like booking a tour at a standard tourist attraction, it was kind of odd. But so glad we did this and saw the extravagance.
Yes it is extravagant, I toured it in September of 2021. But in a country where you remove your shoes to enter a private home please don't put your shod foot on top of a leather topped desk.
Johnny, I had to watch parts of this again for some research, and you asked a question at the 16:25 mark about not knowing anyone else having done something quite like thus... Well, just lookup Putin’s Palace. In fact, Navalny’s crew (and him) put together an actually really good documentary on it. Totally worth the time it’d take to watch it. Especially for all the history that is provided within it! Cheers bud!
Johnny, if you see this I just have a little tip (not being language police) but in Ukrainian duzhe dyakyu - дуже дякую is how to say thank you very much. Bolshoi sounds russian. A lot of people speak a mix called surzhik, but maybe if you want to speak Ukrainian more this will be a little help. Thank you for the updates!
At least he's trying and learning :)) I'm part ukrainian myself with family right from ukraine moving to British columbia, Canada to start a new life. I had to learn everything myself since my dido passed away before I was old enough. And Johnny still knows more ukrainian than me lol. Authentic genuine ukrainian speaking you are absolutely correct tho.
Regardless of the money used, the beautiful architecture and art will be a great source of income for the country through tourism. Reminds me of the stories of King Ludwig of Germany. Who also was accused of opulence. However, visit his Castles. Worth every penny for the tour. Beauty to the eye.
Crazy King Ludwig bankrupted his country so much that he couldn’t even finish building his most famous castle. Despots with this mindset think there’s an endless supply of money, until it’s truly all gone. They don’t desire to serve the people, don’t think about improving life for the common man! This is a good demonstration of why we need democracy, leaders who truly see themselves as daily Servants of the People! 💙🙏🏽💛🇺🇦💪🏽🌅
Unbelievable home and property , I’m actually amazed the Russians didn’t end up missiling this one too, they may yet of course. What decadence, while so many people starve or have so little to live on. So typical of that mindset, so crooked. Thank you for making yet another great video Johnny, so glad you’re staying there to spread all of this information to the rest of us in the world. You are doing the Ukrainians a wonderful service, they need help and exposure.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
They don't because this is the type of thing they worship and they probably think it will be theirs after they flatten all the common people's homes. Putin's palace is similar.
I'll say I have respect for Roman, but saying people are rats and should be shamed over leaving the country due to war, it's not really fair. I'll gladly and proudly say i'm one of those who left the country with my wife, mother-in-law and my back then 2 weeks newborn son. Saying that "everyone" can do "something" isn't really true in my eyes, and excuse me for saying this, I would have been in the way if I stayed, and I would have brought my family even more in danger. Again huge respect to all the people who are there currently helping with what they can, but with all due respect don't shame people because they left and for sure not call them rats. To Johnny, keep up the good content, you are doing a huge job providing this to the world, showing them how things are right now! Huge respect for that! Slava Ukraine
I think he was just speaking out of emotion, and I understand where he's coming from. But I agree that staying in Ukraine during the war isn't a helpful solution either and is often more of a liability than help. But he is right that everyone can do something to help, but that can be helping fight misinformation online, fundraising, going to protests, etc. regardless of where they are in the world.
Go get all those people, who house got messed up, & bring them here to stay! Yep they are the true ones who deserve it, these people have been through it.
It makes you wonder what other oligarchs and dispots accumulate. You are right it is gaudy. And extravagant when you think of people living in tents, under bridges, in cars, vans and tiny houses 🏘 🏘
I'm in awe and also disgusted at the same time seeing this place. Seeing western billionaires with their mansions does seem unfair but this was plain robbing from the people. I'm glad they are taking care of the animals. Also, the big bald guy with the beard seems so nice but you can tell he'd mess you up if you are on the wrong side. Slava Ukrayini!
You are just making publicity for yourself that's all !! Because i know that you are not doing that from your heart and and you are not going to help Ukraine or Ukrainian !! You are investing in this event !! The only one who can build Ukraine is Ukrainian themselves . So stop doing stuipe things . Because what you are doing is just comedy show !! Thank god that Ukraine has a real leader of and for the people now! 🙏🇺🇦 The car museum was awesome. It should be more public. Make money on the museum! These are definitely good tourist attractions.
I employ 8 Ukrainians, 2 of whom were able to escape and live outside of Ukraine. They get paid regardless of their ability to work. Anyone can find these great people who I found to be incredibly hard workers and very honest.
I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING ON THIS VIDEO!🤯 PLEASE START SELLING ALL THE VEHICLES ASAP AND ANYTHING ELSE TO REBUILD UKRAINE! THIS IS THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE’S MONEY THEY DESERVE TO USE IT TO HELP THEMSELVES IN THIS TIME OF NEED! 💙💛
Thanks for tghis presentation. I fully support this property being confiscated by the Ukrainian authorities & great to see the proceeds from tours paying for the property's maintenance. I would like a hotel built & rental cabins & and a caravan park constructed to boost tourist numbers. More importantly, the facilities could be used as a rest & recreation centre for troops needing R&R from the fighting. I admire Pres. Zelenskyy who has proved to be one of the foremost leaders of the 21st century. His "Family" of citizens can be very proud of his achievements to date, particularly his inspiration of hope, patriotism, confidence. love & trust in fellow citizens & the "we will never surrender" attitude. You all have my admiration & best wishes for an early victory ovrer the invaders.

Awww, Johnny said "Thank god WE have a real president!". "We", not "you", he already feels right at home :3
Thank you for showing us around Ukraine during war. Your channel is valuable for future historical references.
Hi Johnny, keep up the amazing job
OMG we were just in this place last September and the same guide is in the house! It was worth touring the house just to put the scale of opulence into perspective. It also helped us to learn what happened in 2014. The grounds were massive and beautiful, and seemed to be enjoyed by many locals the day we were there. Saw people taking wedding photos in the gardens.
And one of those ostriches attacked my son's camera through the fence
So where are you now
That is a strange coincidence, I was there in the same month.
Fantastisch wat je doet, Johnny! Groetjes uit Nederland en Slava Ukraine!
Been there too… it shocked me totally! There is much more to see in the basements and the area! Never again!!! Slava Ukrainie !
Yes it is extravagant, I toured it in September of 2021. But in a country where you remove your shoes to enter a private home please don't put your shod foot on top of a leather topped desk.
Its great the way they have kept it in such good shape. Everyone needs to see this waste of taxpayers money.
He says both for some strange reason and he just ends up sounding strange saying thank you several different ways back to back lol 😆
Hi, Johnny - I would've liked to see the kitchen & basement. What Viktor Yanukovych did was a crime! #SlavaUkraine
Now I understand why the Maidan revolution happened in 2014!
It was a US coup and right after that brics and africa signed agreements to ditch the Saudi US petro dollar
Really a very beautiful place! I recommend for all to visit it!
It really is!
Pay the extra money to sit on Victor's throne and take a dump.
"5 Johnnys wide" reminds me of the saying that Americans will measure in whatever measure they want but not in the metric system =))
Gotta say as a carpenter who ever did the wood work tile exc are very talented the amount of hrs there building has to be insane
I wonder how well the craftsmen were paid. Probably insufficiently! 🇺🇦💪🏽
Go get all those people, who house got messed up, & bring them here to stay! Yep they are the true ones who deserve it, these people have been through it.
Lol Ww3 is elite vs peasants
Just only wow. I can't say how beautiful this House is
Wow but poor taste.
Thank you man from Ukraine for what you doing!
It makes you wonder what other oligarchs and dispots accumulate. You are right it is gaudy. And extravagant when you think of people living in tents, under bridges, in cars, vans and tiny houses 🏘 🏘
Oh and your tour guide was so knowledgeable and nice! 👏👏👏 great guy!
Up my alley...if I am not watching travel videos, I am watching car videos. Those cars either need to be in a museum or put up for auction.
@@ukjw2 , your comment sounds very MAGA.
@@ukjw2 , my comment was not meant to have "but what about" responses. There are better places for that.
This place still looks as ridiculous as I remember visiting it years ago, looks more well kept even. Never forget, never stop fighting.
They should claim the cars as abandoned and sell them to help towards rebuilding the country. At least it would be a good start.
Yes maybe, but those cars will resell for 10% of what he bought them for. It's better kept as a museum.
Just imagine how rich Putin is
Putler's yacht (he has several) is as large as this house.
All the best to Ukraine . Our hearts and our minds with you . Because we know what means the war .... Slava Ukraina . Big love to this ❤️ beautiful country ❤️
Chill out dude! Johnny is making very interesting content.
Disgusting comment. Contribute more positivity to the world.
You sound like a troll.
Absolutely beautiful!! If honestly earned, great. However, this is why the country is one of the poorest in Europe. Sad! Third world countries are the same.
Really good presentation! Thank you
Thank god that Ukraine has a real leader of and for the people now! 🙏🇺🇦
The car museum was awesome.
Another great episode. Do ya know what would really bring your work to the next level? Greater attention to the audio - microphoning, levels...
Looking forward to a sister museum of corruption opening in Gelendzhik. Maybe Kabaeva will learn Ukrainian and sell tickets at the entrance.
I totally like Roman. A great man!
That would make a beautiful school. After all those children have been through. To be educated here would be a dream.
Love your stuff your videos have gotten much better.
Wasn't that Hillary Clinton's face on the wall? Maybe he had a secret crush...🤔😂🤣
“I would be ashamed to live here”….bro shes a keeper…that is someone u bless
For sure, the moment when this war has been won by Ukraine, I will come to Ukraine and help to rebuild the country.
Keep drinking the cool aid Ukrainian Russians are all set for the Motherland Reunification….stop watching the Fake Globalist News….Ukraine is loosing big time…..
Extremely considerate and nice of you my friend. God bless and much blessings.
Crazy how evil people can be at least Ukraine can show and share a part of their country’s story and history a time which is behind them and will forever be a part of their PAST the future of Ukraine and their next chapter will be known for strength glory victory and peace and the only museum that will come to be will be built to honor the brave men and women who fought in 2022 and paved the way for generations to come that will only know a peaceful thriving country in which they live! Thank you for showing the world what exceptional people of Ukraine are 🙏💙💛🇺🇦
Imagine how is his master in Kremlin's mansion 🙃
A tour of the underground tunnels would be great!
Roman is missing a viking helmet and an axe. What a freaking warrior !
People who live in glass houses should not cast stones. Corruption at the highest levels of government is certainly not unique to Ukrainian officials. Look to thine own self to be true.
I watched this yesterday and was speechless 🙊. Here we are in the middle of a large war and you are standing in the middle of this corrupt mansion. Interesting how this wasn't bombed as:
Great video Johnny! Very enlightening. You are doing such a good job.
U should film Medvechuk train next.
Much love and strength form the Netherlands 🇳🇱💪🏻
Where in Netherlands I am also in Netherlands

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ videos Johnny Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦💙💛
Every country have your own Janukovich.
First I hope Russian and Ukraine living in peace soon.
I found this video through Discord. Very interesting. Thank you.
Slava Ukraine greetings from America
Love your Videos John, just imagine after seeing this what Putins Mentions must be…
SUBSCRIBED!
Cool house. Cool President.
The Ukrainian government should sell the cars on bring a trailer, or through one of the big auction houses to recoup some of the money.
Sell them on Cars and Bids...lol
I hope they stay in the museum. More profitable in the long run. I'll definitely visit after the war.
I have also visited this place 😁
Nice!!
Nice work!
Great upload.
