I just started watching the video and in the first five minutes I would have been happy to pick what you left behind, haha- Smokey Robinson, Nancy Sinatra, The Replacements, Ray Charles, Blues For A Stripper, etc.
Thanks for the comments and the helpful tips! I will say that I missed that Replacements LP... ouch!! thanks for pointing that but, someone will grab it for sure. As far as the the other records I skipped, I already own several of them so I passed, but looking back I probably should have offered a fair price for the whole bin but I'm running out of storage room.. lol. Thanks again for watching!
I had a 12 inch Replaements that now goes for nearly 100. Foolish purge, but i had not idea records were coming back. I love how Goodwill sells $1 LPs for $3
I really enjoyed your video! I like going to thrift stores and yard sales to look for records even though I have not had any luck finding anything lately. The thrill of the hunt gets me going! New subscriber!
I know I should have grabbed another copy for only one dollar. Sometimes I wish I could go back in a Time Machine and grab all the good ones left behind. Thanks for the comments.
Thanks for watching and glad I’m not the only one with interesting taste 👍🏼 I missed a few at that first sale but happy with what I grabbed. They were all in VG-VG+
Great eye! Thanks for the tip on that one, I probably missed some other LPs too, because they were backwards. Saw a lot of those on this particular day. I will BOLO for that LP 👍🏼
Thanks for catching that. I'm a huge Foghat and Chicago fan, have multiple copies of both albums and decided to pass because of the condition but I agree with you, great LPs! Thanks for watching.
You are correct 👍🏼 That’s a great album! I have 2 in my personal collection and have sold a couple for good prices but the one you saw in this video was falling out of the record jacket so I passed. Appreciate you catching that.
That IS an awesome LP! I really had to think about that one because I already own a copy, but probably should have grabbed it for the store. Thanks for the tips!
Absolutely VINYL.. I'm guessing that you are referring to the lady that was speaking to me about records.. appreciate the comments and the support my friend.
Thank you for the kind comments 👍🏼😀 the condition of most of the records I picked up was VG-EX so I’m happy with this pick and learning more every video. Stay tuned for more!
Thanks! I already own some of the Blue Cheer LPs but probably should have grabbed an extra. I MISSED the Replacements!! OOOPS!! I'm sure the guy behind me grabbed it.
Great question. Yes, they are a genre of music known as 'Exotica' and many people collect them, so I grab certain ones now and then. They sell pretty fast and some of them are worth listening too, in my opinion. Thanks for watching the video!
I wish I could find a cornucopia like that in one day's searching. You can't go wrong with Nat King Cole. I read a history of The Who, and the story was that they were doing photos for Who's Next when John Entwistle felt an urgent need to pee. There was nothing else even semi-private in the vicinity, so he went up against that monolith. They all thought that was cool and followed suit. And the rest is history. I grinned to see that RCA album "60 Years of Music America Loves Best." We played that to death when I was a kid. I wonder what ever happened to it.
Awesome comments here, my friend! Now I know why they all used that monolith like a tree .... lol! Cool to know - "Who's Next?" .. thanks for watching and maybe I'll grab that 60 Years LP next time, not sure I still have it.
How soon do you put records up on your ebay store? I saw a Vicente Fernandez record that you pulled and I'm interested in it. I actually live just south of you in Pueblo and just found your ebay store.
Hello, thanks for asking. I am putting a bunch of records from the last few videos on sale in my eBay store this weekend, but I will hold the Vicente for you. Send me an email: electricstreamrecords@gmail.com and we can discuss 👍🏼
Yep. Still asking myself "What's Goin On??" But, on a positive note, I've already sold $180 of LPs from that pick, so some picks are wins and others are "learns". This one was both. Thanks for watching!
I've got more Elvis Presley than Elvis probably had.. seriously though, I always try to grab the good Elvis LPs and sometimes 45s too. He's done me well and can't ever have too much of "The King" right?
Am I the only one who cringes at some of the ones “missed” (unless they had no lp inside, as stated throughout the video). But 4:30 The replacements? I wish I could get that for $1
Thanks for the comments and for watching. Good catch on The Replacements… I win some, I lose some.. but it’s all good, having fun and learning more with every pick 👍🏼
@@mountainmanpicker absolutely, it’s all about fun, and you had an amazing haul nonetheless! I appreciated you discussing Who’s Next and In Through the outdoor/wet, as I ended up needing to google those, lol
Thanks but those records were warped with water damage except for the VH and Floyd vinyl. I did not end up with Jackson Browne either. Appreciate your eyes on the vinyl 👍🏼
Thanks for pointing that out, still not sure on that, I think I was distracted, there was someone talking to me and a line of people wanting to get to the records, after the guy brought them up from his basement. Oops! 😬
@@mountainmanpicker I know how it is. I like your channel and do some record picking myself. I actually picked your channel for a shoutout in my summer vinyl tag video. Thanks for the great content
I'm not sure i trust your judgement. Much of what you quickly flipped through and left were the more valuable records and a lot of the stuff you picked up were just meh....
Thanks for the comments and for watching the video. The records I picked were LPs that I enjoy listening to and the others I picked were to sell in my store. Which records would you have picked?
Lol! Hey, thanks for that comment my friend. Already found a home for Fernandez but still wish I would have grabbed Marvin... ugh. Another video is now up. Thanks!

I wish I would have grabbed that Replacements LP! It was worth $50+ but somehow I didn’t even see it 😜 thanks for watching!
4:28 The replacements is a huge record !!!
Yes it is! Thanks for watching, my friend.
Agree!
An original VG+ can go as high as $100
I really enjoyed your video! I like going to thrift stores and yard sales to look for records even though I have not had any luck finding anything lately. The thrill of the hunt gets me going! New subscriber!
Welcome to the community and so glad you enjoyed the video! Stay tuned for more coming soon 👍🏻
Agghhh. Replacements and Marvin Gaye for a buck? That next guy is stoked!
Missed The Replacements! Thanks for the tips, Marvin Gaye is good too, have several but well worth a buck 👍🏼
Impressive on what was left behind...the scraps were arguably the best records. The Replacements and What's Going On!! Sheesh.
Can’t believe some of the great albums you passed over; Kayak, Uriah Heap and Ten Years After, to name a few. Classics!
Thanks for watching! All great Classic Rock Albums and I own several of each, love em! More coming soon.
you got to pick up marvin gaye for a dollar!
I know I should have grabbed another copy for only one dollar. Sometimes I wish I could go back in a Time Machine and grab all the good ones left behind. Thanks for the comments.
Oh you’re killin me smalls! JIMMY SMITH -CRAZY BABY (BLUE NOTE)
I know I know.. lol. Fortunately, I have that one in my personal collection 👍🏼
You have got interesting taste. Mine is similar. I also like Bobby Short. There was some gold in that first sale if they were in VG+.
Thanks for watching and glad I’m not the only one with interesting taste 👍🏼 I missed a few at that first sale but happy with what I grabbed. They were all in VG-VG+
12:32 there was a Jimmy Smith “Crazy Baby” on Blue Note that was backwards could have been big bux if it was clean.
Great eye! Thanks for the tip on that one, I probably missed some other LPs too, because they were backwards. Saw a lot of those on this particular day. I will BOLO for that LP 👍🏼
My heart stopped when you blew right by The Replacements.
Me and you both (when I reviewed the video)! I hate when that happens.... never again! Thanks for watching.
Grab The Replacements
I still cannot believe that I missed that album! Thanks for watching my friend.
You passed on Foghat and Chicago Transit Authority for a $1 each.
Thanks for catching that. I'm a huge Foghat and Chicago fan, have multiple copies of both albums and decided to pass because of the condition but I agree with you, great LPs! Thanks for watching.
Triumvirate is a great band.
Thanks for the comment and the tip! I will check this band out, more videos coming soon.
I love it when the records are backwards and upside down no matter which way you try to flip the bin lmao.
I wanted to straighten them all up but would have been there all day!.. lol.. thanks for the comments 👍🏼
Debbie Gibson Electric Youth is a solid $15
Thanks for the tip on that one 👍🏼
Passed by a lot of good jazz albums during this video. Calvin Jackson at @ 19:30 would have been a nice little pick up.
Thanks for the tip 👍🏼 will check that out and BOLO next pick.
'ARETHA in PARIS', OMG
I should have grabbed that one too. Thanks for watching.
That Shotgun Willie you could get some money for. Here in Texas I see it sold for ~$30
You are correct 👍🏼 That’s a great album! I have 2 in my personal collection and have sold a couple for good prices but the one you saw in this video was falling out of the record jacket so I passed. Appreciate you catching that.
BLUE CHEER, AWESOME LP.👍
That IS an awesome LP! I really had to think about that one because I already own a copy, but probably should have grabbed it for the store. Thanks for the tips!
You pick a Steve Martin and pass on The Replacements? What is the wide, wide world of sports are ya doin?
Appreciate the comments, I still can’t believe I missed that Replacements LP, won’t happen again. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
7:03 Umm..it's vinyl, not vinyls.
Absolutely VINYL.. I'm guessing that you are referring to the lady that was speaking to me about records.. appreciate the comments and the support my friend.
I see people have pointed out what you missed vut you did get some noce records there, if the condition was good. Enjoyed the video. Keep em coming!😊
Thank you for the kind comments 👍🏼😀 the condition of most of the records I picked up was VG-EX so I’m happy with this pick and learning more every video. Stay tuned for more!
Nancy! ❤️🔥 edit: many thanks as always
Nancy is always a good pick! I think I forgot that I was only paying $1 for each LP, should have grabbed more 👍🏼
Blue cheer power trio group band‼️ also the Replacement
Thanks! I already own some of the Blue Cheer LPs but probably should have grabbed an extra. I MISSED the Replacements!! OOOPS!! I'm sure the guy behind me grabbed it.
I can't believe you passed on that Village People album! What were you thinkin'? 😁
That’s a great idea for a theme song for my channel: “Mountain Mountain Man.. I want to be a…” 😆 Thanks for watching!
What is the deal with all the albums that have the “exotic” covers….. I come across a lot of them. Are they their own genre or just a flashy cover
Great question. Yes, they are a genre of music known as 'Exotica' and many people collect them, so I grab certain ones now and then. They sell pretty fast and some of them are worth listening too, in my opinion. Thanks for watching the video!
That Replacements "Pleased to Meet Me" is probably close to a $100 LP 🤦
What was the address of the house?
Thanks for the tip on that one, don't know how I missed it but ended up leaving it for the next picker.. ouch!

Yep. Still asking myself "What's Goin On??" But, on a positive note, I've already sold $180 of LPs from that pick, so some picks are wins and others are "learns". This one was both. Thanks for watching!
I was about to bet $575 that you were going to leave Presley
I've got more Elvis Presley than Elvis probably had.. seriously though, I always try to grab the good Elvis LPs and sometimes 45s too. He's done me well and can't ever have too much of "The King" right?
I wanted that Kiki Dee album 😂
👍🏼 I’ll try to grab one for you next time 😀 thanks for watching!

You passed on that Marvin Gaye?? That’s pretty solid $30-$40 VG+
I know! Big miss on my part. Thanks for watching!
That Bobby Brown you passed was worth a lot more that that Jackson Browne you took 🤦♂️
Thanks but those records were warped with water damage except for the VH and Floyd vinyl. I did not end up with Jackson Browne either. Appreciate your eyes on the vinyl 👍🏼
Why the pass on Marvin?
Thanks for pointing that out, still not sure on that, I think I was distracted, there was someone talking to me and a line of people wanting to get to the records, after the guy brought them up from his basement. Oops! 😬

Missed a few good jazz albums I see
Vincente Fernandez won this fight against Marvin Gaye
Lol! Hey, thanks for that comment my friend. Already found a home for Fernandez but still wish I would have grabbed Marvin... ugh. Another video is now up. Thanks!
