Bivacco Penne Nere | Aosta | Winter hike | Becca di Viou (2856 m)

During our trip, we were fortunate to have a national holiday, which afforded us some extra time. As a result, we decided to undertake a two-day hike up to Penne Nere, with a night spent in a tent. The hike is not particularly challenging, covering a distance of around 6-7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1300 meters. The bivouac site is well-maintained and equipped with cooking gas, as well as warm blankets to keep us cozy during the chilly nights.
