Boys and girls aged 7+ can recreate exciting battles from season 2 of the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV show with LEGO® NINJAGO Arin’s Ninja Off-Road Buggy Car (71811). Can totally see this set being underrated. Reminds me of Cole's tread assault with those huge wheels. Very cool.
The stud shooters first appeared in lego city as a water jet for firefighters but it was already in ninjago island in the set with those three live stones.

If you've reviewed the Keepers Island from, well, The Island, they used those stud shooters in one of the traps in gray.

the purple and dark blue says to me this was probably a vehicle hijacked from the wolf mask guys, i dont really see any other reason why those colours would ne there, but if so it’s a neat bit of storytelling in the build.

As someone who lives in Germany, I hope climber cole will appear in a Magazin. This way, every kid who wants the climber Cole can get him for cheap. Blue Ozeans (the Company who produce the Magazins), was already crazy enough to put Mr. Demeanor in one of their New magazines, so geting Climber Cole doesn't look like a bit of a stretch.
I remember I got the Ronin minifig from City Gardens in one of those magazines

The back stud shooters were found on the Keeper's Village and Skull Sorcerer's Dragon sets.
Suprisingly a good build and in my opinion a fine value for its size.

I like the look of this set. It reminds me a lot like Cole’s dragon cruiser set from crystallized
The stud shooters were used in griefbringer and I believe a few star wars sets, and I believe some city fire in 2020/21 but I've only seen it in Grey I believe. So a new color I think.
I’ll get this on sale.I think for 40 or 45 but this review makes this set grow on me.Cole is awesome and I don’t have any Arin build so I think this would display well with all my other ninja sets from the winter wave.

seems this wave is the "nexo Knights recycling " series. As a huge fan of Nexo Knights I love these. Wish it was a bit cheaper.

The stud shooters have been used before. Such as on Grief bringer (the Skull sorcerer dragon) but other then that I am not sure where else

The stud shooters were in a few marvel sets in 2020 (the iron monger and iron man mech) they were probably in other sets but those are the only 2 I know of
I like the set and probably will get it after I get the others. But I feel as if the Baby Riyu was only added just to bump up the price

I do like this set a lot, but the price dose kill it, so definitely one you need to get on sale, and for the stud shooters, they do come in the keepers village

But first time they had multiple studs loaded once
Also 7:35 in the renders coles torso was printed on dark gray, but now its black. Could it be a rendering error, or a last minute change, like Lloyd using dark red. Also buy this minifigures pieces from bricks and pieces, when they come in there. The DR s1 suits are available in there, and i feel like this years suits are coming there aswell
Actually you forgot about sets Iron Man Mech set number 76140, Iron Man: Iron Monger Mayhem set as well as some Lego city fire rescue sets which also has 3 1 x 1 tiles in it
The price is definitely going into those wheels and large custom pieces...but as I Cole fan I will get this.
the stud shooters aren't a new thing they were used in the lightning island season of lego ninjago so its not new but i dont think we have seen it since then

This set feels a lil reminiscent of coles rock roader from 2016
the stud shooters were in earlier sets, I don't know how much earlier but my first time seeing them was in the keepers village in the island in 2021 it is however the first time in dark blue also bright orange?? that looks way more yellow than orange

The price of this in my European country converts to 65 USD. That's SIXTY-FIVE dollars. And yes, regular non-exclusive sets here are usually instantly discounted but even at a 25% discount it's still almost 50 USD. If it was half off it'd still be more than 30 USD!
It's so weird how LEGO puts out sets every now and then with absolutely insane pricing that makes no sense at all. Like all other sets in the wave are fairly normally priced, and then there's one set that's like twice what it should be.
Now that we know the full context from the show we definitely missed out on a very important detail of *them* and its technically not Aarons buggy

From my understanding, the designers get given a price to work with and then the set is evaluated to see what the value is. So I have no idea who in LEGO looked at this and thought, "Yeah, this is worth $50". I can see some parts that would bump up the price i.e the Riyu mold, the spring piece at the back as well as the armor mold for the climber ninja and the engineering to integrate the hook, but $50 is too much.

…could that be why some sets have weird pricing like $46.99, $16.99, they’re told to make a $20 riyu set and then they determine, the actual set they made will cost $16.99 so they switch the price?
