    Can you add the direct link to the case files in the description? I think you mentioned doing it in the video but the only link goes to the PDF manual.
    I received a review unit too, and love the size and design-I think it's perfect for their main use case, as a replacement interface for custom 3D printer builds! And you mention a use case I didn't even think of-a Switch-style portable console. It could probably be done with some sort of split controller, a custom case, and a battery on one or both sides in the control area.
    Sound would be annoying to manage, but doable. This is a really neat device!

      Any fix for a non responsive emmc cm4. I was making a video about usb booting an emmc cm4 and it’s stopped responding on both my carrier boards with cables I know are working.

    I want to use my new raspb. pad 5 for my 3d printer. So if I have an original Pi 3, do I still need an additional cm4 or can I hook up the pi to the pad and connect it to the mobo and done?

    I came across an old Project, called "ZXBaremulator" to give my old raspberry 1B a 2nd Live. Realy nice. As there is no linux to boot, it turns on just like nothing. I also found a Spectrum+ Like Cover on thingiverse called "ZX Spectrum Emulator case" which i am printing this week.
    So I just have to order the fitting Keyboard and I have a near real Spectrum128 :-)
    And my old 1B has a new home.

    I've been working out plans for a Pi Zero 2 W smart thermostat and home automation hub/panel, but am now thinking of switching it to this with a CM4 instead. This little panel looks great, and the price is right.
    You might be able to solve the 2nd monitor issue by putting hdmi_force_hotplug=1 into your config.txt.

    Hi Leepspsvideo,
    I tried to install Raspberry Pi OS on the Raspberry Pi Pad 5 but failed. I looked very carefully at your instruction in this video and in the video about the CM4 router with the Seeedstudio CM4 motherboard, as well as at Jeff Geerlings instruction steps how to install Raspberry Pi OS on the CM4. In contrast to what can be seen in your video, I get error messages after every command line I entered, and nothing works. What might be wrong?
    Regards, Peter Gamma

    Rpi Os menu option => Preferences => Screen configuration can change resolution and position (stack),
    e.g. moving down would move the mouse pointer to the lower screen.
    Might need to activate the second screen in software first.

    • @leepspvideo
      @leepspvideo  2 года назад +1

      I tried, but not for long. It wouldn’t allow me to move the small screen beneath my monitor.

    My mind IMMEDIATELY went to a handheld pi console. My main question is if it can also be powered by the IO pins just like a traditional raspberry. This would make adding a daughterboard to it very easy, it even has mounting holes for screws if things are done right. Just slide the daughterboard in there, secure both boards and some casing on everything with screws, and the daughter board not only provides power but also has a battery, not just controls.
