Today I discovered you. You are an extraordinary communicator with a sense of humor that no human or broccoli can resist, and your video editing is excellent. I hope you come back, your agenda is resolved soon and the pandemic remains a bad memory.
Saw that you hadn't posted anything new in the last two years. I was happy to see that you replied to a comment 4 months ago. I always wonder about how people are doing when they stop publishing. Your content is great. I would love to see more.
I love your videos!! I’ve learned so much. I took oil painting classes on college and they didn’t teach me much so it was so hard to start painting but this videos have motivated me so much! Thanks
You are truly an extraordinary teacher. I have learned so many incredible techniques and tips just within a brief time of watching your videos. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! Plus, your videos are just plain fun!
He adorable 🥰 teacher I’m glad I found this channel he is actully helping me because I have cosnitive delay and ADD and this is helping me learn how to draw my family members or any other spirits I see :)
Real beard: fine. Fake beard: creepy. Broccoli: odd but funny, like you and me. Art lessons: very clear and helpful. I would like to restart oil painting (not since high school, now 65) but doing acrylics this year. Studio is off my bedroom so i need another place for stinky oils. Would love to see more portrait lessons, I'll be studying that next few weeks at WAM. Thanks!
Haha! Appreciate your comments and input! Even the 'odorless mineral spirits' most artists use these days wouldn't go too well with your bedroom scenario. So, I can see why the acrylics choice. If it were me, I'd figure out a way… just love oils too much. Enjoy your studies at WAM!
I have been doing art classes for a year,i have to go back to the fundamentals again,bc i saw that i haven't been focused on shapes, rather on details and bad proportions and i also have final Uni entry exams in 10 Months and i have to stydy like i never studied in my life,so yea, these months i will prob go back to the basics, even tho i wanna draw smth more advanced, still,i guess i have to stick to the fundamentals for now, wish me luck😩😩
Yes Don, keep your beard but put it on top of your head! Of course, this is a joke! With or without a beard you are a charming man! I enjoyed the video. Thank you!
The drying time for oil paint varies. It depends on the color used, how thickly the paint is applied and if any mediums are added that slow down or speed up the drying time. But, generally it takes anywhere from a few days to a week or two for oil paint to dry to the touch. Also, a good rule of thumb is to allow for at least 6 months of drying time before applying a final varnish. Glad you asked!
