I think everyone who needs help relaxing and falling asleep needs to listen to these great stories or Twilight Zone episodes. What a way to fall asleep!! I look forward to bedtime, that's for sure!! It's a treat hearing these amazing stories and conking out to them-they relax you and send you off to dream land!! I just go back into my history and replay each story as long as I need to to hear the entire stories. Enjoy!! And to those posting, thanks for sharing!! Great mental stimulation and exercise so the brain doesn't need cues from our eyes all the time!! Hearing a gripping tale like this is pure bliss!!✌️
First run- July1981 Ralph Bell (George MacCready) Terri Keane (Martha MacReady) Robert Kaliban (Leon/Elroy Winters) Ian Martin (Postmaster & Adolf) Douglas Dempsey (Writer)
This was an interesting plot, but I was a mail carrier, and it's totally implausible that such a conscientious carrier would take a piece of mail home and not back to the PO at the end of his day.
Where have you been all my life? Thank you for these stories.
I'm so glad we've finally found each other!
This is one of my favs!

One of the best I've listened to! A superb story.
I think I love this story best. Mandal Kramer in the one on the rainy night and the blind white cat is really great too..😢

Leon killed as a Marine in 1941? The US didn’t declare war until December 1941, but the letter was mailed August 01, 1941.
a little early for an old letter story keeps getting better even in the comments .. my dad was in the south pacific on a u.s navy ship in 42

I agree. I'm a carrier.
@@jreyas6263 I also found the wife's prying extremely annoying!
@Patty Nielsen Guess they needed it for the plot...lol
Its just a story.
I hope he doesn't ask for identification at every house he delivers letters to. He'd never get his round done.
Anyway, a good story.
I would have said: "bring it home, says Britannica that mutterings are innacceptable.
good
