yeah heavily outplayed them by exploiting The Nuggets struggles on DEF and then by being more aggressive on the rebounds so Jokic isnt hustling for it. Ant was cooking Gordon and anyone they put on him

He's better than KOBE was at the same age. Michael was so fast and such a great leader. Michael could palm the basketball like most humans holding a softball. How big are AEs hands ? Lebron has had a long career and many years a top 5 player. He assembled all star teams but he never had the alpha dog mentality like the true elites. AE at 22 would drag 22 yo Lebron.

It is funny to see the PUSH Edwards is getting when he isn't anywhere near the top guys (yet) and when so many great young guys exist who are arguably better. The League and associated media clowns did the same with Ja Morant until he embarrassed them with his idiocy off the court. So we forget the guy? Morant is better than Edwards, and it isn't even close.

Anthony Edwards just was the biggest contributer in sweeping KD and the Suns... IMO you really have to put respect on that.
@DESOUSAB Morant is a better offensive player I would say. The difference is ANT plays elite defense and he can't get pushed around like Morant because he's much stronger than your typical guard. His mental game is a lot better because he has learned how to read defenses and his 3 point shot has improved a lot the past year. We will never probably know Ja Morant's true ceiling because he can't stay healthy and stay out of trouble. In the long run talent only gets you so far. Regardless of the skill one man is improving his craft while the other one plays with guns😂😂

The key to this series for the Timberwolves is, in my opinion, Gobert and KAT. If they can lock down the paint and "slowdown" jokic as much as possible. That will open it up for antman and the rest to get a flow.
KAT has been so impressive this year. I thought he had given up for a couple of years man.. this is the series of this years playoff!

Edwards is an example of the League and sports media pushing a guy and creating a narrative that he is the next Jordan or Kobe. Edwards is a great talent, but there are many great talents in the League and only a few superstars. Edwards isn't one of them.

the thing the wolves have done all year is get a lead and then rest people, the game swings around during this, but they almost always have their closers ready for the end (KAT and his foul trouble sometimes... ANT can also just have an off night at times)

Wolves’ coach, in the beginning the Nuggets were helpless with the Defense (both Murray an Jokic bothered), there is no need to go to your bench first! This is over rationalizing (even having a best bench). That gave the Nuggets the opportunity to breath and come back right away. Besides, if Ant is in Supernova mode, let him stay there, he would easily get 53 maybe even 60. Take him out only when he slows down a bit. He is taking over! I am so happy Reid finished strong, he could even stay more. KAT, very good, he just needs to refrain from silly fouls.
This is what they need from Gobert, no need to add pts. just pure defensive stop esp. against the reigning MVP.
