This is a perfect example for me of why you are so good at what you do and your ability to see what pieces can be with painting. My first thought was it is beautiful as is, but seeing what you did and the end result is beautiful too. Thank you for sharing your vision and techniques.
I absolutely love the look you achieved with the different colors of milk paint and the clear and white wax! Thank you for showing us each step of the process. It is so helpful when you take us through your decision making, so that we know when to alter our plans when working on a project.
natural wood was pretty and I was holding my breath the whole time. Turned out beautiful!! love the color choices too..... I have very intricate wood clock I wanted to paint and distress but was too scared, but now Im confidant and will go for it
I really like what you've done with it because after you have wet distress it back so heavily it does show that aging overtime and then somehow that white. Only makes a details pop but it also kind of softens it up and makes it more calm and relaxing and maybe a bit more neutral to go with other things in the house
Absolutely, without a doubt, love the distressed painted look rather than the dark heavy look of the wood. Love the colours you chose too! Love love! 😍
I actually just bought this same mirror at a garage sale!! Its been in my living room waiting for inspiration to do something to it!! Perfect this is one of my favorite colors too!
I love this, and I love that moody blue. And you know, one day, this WILL be an antique in like..30, 40 years from now, and by then probably other people will have painted it, and it will look like it's been hanging in some Mexican Adobe home - with years and years of painting and chipping, and it'll be even more amazing. Great job. ❤
I loved it both ways but having grown up in Indonesia /Thailand as a little kid, I saw quite a few things that look just like this and so I love your end result!
You just gave me an idea of what to do with a little shelf thing my parents brought back from Jamaica. Wood and details are similar. I have a hard time painting wood if the grain is pretty. I like this blue! You definitely improved this piece!
Love how this looks. I know from experience these dark wood pieces don't sell in my area so painting it would have been what I would have done. Beautifully done!
Love it, love the colors great job. I laughed when Zeb questioned the white wax but liked it after it was done and the look on Jami’s face was like “I know what I’m doing” 😂
I'm almost always in favor of painting wood and you proved it again. I thought for sure it would be white swan or apothecary but love the blue! This is my favorite project of yours so far!! (And I've seen ALL your videos!)
Moody blue is a good blue for that color wood. It turned out beautiful but if you wanted salt by the sea then could be white wax over clear...or a more neutral drybrush in a mud tan color with white wax.
so jealous of your amazing thrift find. I was initially sad that you wanted to paint that gorgeous wood carving but the blue came out perfect. I am not one of those never paint people but I gotta admit I was worried at first. Great job
This looks pretty. I typically am not a fan of wood that dark, however, I actually liked how it looked before a tad better. Either way its still pretty and if I were to paint that I think id have done the same colors.
I just started following you guys and am loving you videos. My wife and I are making our first attempt at doing a little night stand. Wish us luck. Great video!
Looks great! Jack is so adorable, I love hearing his little voice at the end.
I love it with the chippy because you can see the details better!
This is a perfect example for me of why you are so good at what you do and your ability to see what pieces can be with painting. My first thought was it is beautiful as is, but seeing what you did and the end result is beautiful too. Thank you for sharing your vision and techniques.
WOW that turned out FABULOUS! So glad you finally got to this piece, its so different and bet it sells fast!
I absolutely love the look you achieved with the different colors of milk paint and the clear and white wax! Thank you for showing us each step of the process. It is so helpful when you take us through your decision making, so that we know when to alter our plans when working on a project.
LOVE the colors, the heavy distressing, the white wax. Beautiful. It inspires me. Great job 💞
I love it better this way, it came to life with the new paint, Wish I lived in your area.I would buy so much of your furniture.
OMG...the new outro!!!! The mirror is amaze-balls too!
Hehe, Jack has been wanting to be in all the youtube videos lately so Zeb helped him out. ❤️❤️
natural wood was pretty and I was holding my breath the whole time. Turned out beautiful!! love the color choices too..... I have very intricate wood clock I wanted to paint and distress but was too scared, but now Im confidant and will go for it
Ahhhh, I would love that mirror for a nook in my foyer..... It would be perfect, right down to the color....excellent work!
Love the color and the heavy distress. I’m glad you did the white wax. I’m learning how to apply that. This video was very helpful. Thanks!
Oh, I LOVE it! Much better this way than just the stained wood..You both have such great vision 👍❤️🤗
Love the colors! It looks awesome. I don't think y'all have ever done a piece that I didn't love!!
I really like what you've done with it because after you have wet distress it back so heavily it does show that aging overtime and then somehow that white. ❤️❤️
Absolutely, without a doubt, love the distressed painted look rather than the dark heavy look of the wood. Love the colours you chose too! Love love! 😍
Gorgeous .... Gorgeous ! Well done you 2 ! Love it just the way it is.
After you mentioned Mexico, I would have gone for yellow, oranges and bright pinks. ;) But I love color!
The mirror is beautiful both ways and I love white wax! ❤️
I actually just bought this same mirror at a garage sale!! Its been in my living room waiting for inspiration to do something to it!! Perfect this is one of my favorite colors too!

Lol. I cheated and broke my regular color pattern. 😊❤️❤️
Love it in the blue
Love the new look

Turned out so pretty! Great job!
There's no way I could sell that one.
Beautiful!
looks so much better painted.
I like it. Turned out great. It looked more expensive not painted. But in the right farmhouse home it will be awesome.
In our area it was $15.00 not painted. I plan on selling it my shop for $125.00.
It looks better now, you can see all the beautiful details now.
Love it!!! The blue Is awesome!!
Love the finished product! !!!
Gorgeous. As you were applying the clear wax I kept thinking, white wax would accentuate the carvings. Glad you used white wax.
Thanks! (I love white wax!)
Definitely prefer the painted look
Love it painted!
Love the painted piece ❤️❤️❤️
Milk paint version for sure!!
I just started following you guys and am loving you videos. My wife and I are making our first attempt at doing a little night stand. Wish us luck. Great video!

I would love something like that in a bathroom I'm re-doing. Very nice either way...depending on individual style.
