As a slightly older viewer of yours who done exams years ago, but have watched your channel for years, Emma good luck with your A Levels you have always come over as sensible and a hard worker, hope you do well, and hope the results take you to where u want them to
good luck to everyone who are having their exams atm. i finished my exams a month ago and it was honestly the most stressing thing ever but i got through it and luckily the lowest grade i got was an 82 which isn't that bad ig . if you're going through exams atm, remember that you can go through it. just keep on revising and you're going to do amazing .

I don’t want to say this is nostalgic because I definitely don’t miss the anxiety of matric (South African equivalent to A-levels) but this was refreshing to see after my first semester of uni.

would you recommend doing biology alevel? im torn between both biology and chemistry but im really unsure? do you have an pros and cons for bio...?
Hi, I am doing both bio and chem at a levels and my exams are in the next few weeks.
For chemistry:
pros: depending on exam board, I do OCR, it is pretty straightforward, however many struggle on physical chemistry which is paper 1 for OCR. I recommend the calculations in chemistry by JIm Clark because it is AMAZING. It's fun at times as well and it's really interesting. If you are not good at some aspects of it, it really gets disheartening but overall I would recommend.
Cons: If you don't understand the basic concepts or anything from GCSE Chem then you will STRUGGLE. Make sure you know all of yr12 beginning content because the subject builds on that.
Biology ahaha
pros: Very interesting, cool and informative.
cons: for OCR, the papers are BRUTAL. I heard AQA is easier but at this point, pity for all those bio students. THERE IS A LOT OF CONTENT. If you don't keep up with it throughout the year, it will definitely stress you out and you will fall behind super quickly. it requires a lot of time and effort from day 1.
I don't recommend bio if you don't have the courage to stick to it from day 1. I am kind of lazy so I regret choosing biology everyday.
This is my personal opinion and experience but dont let this scare you for biology because it's a nice subject, the exam boards just kill it sometimes.
