When Peter closed the outhouse door, did anybody else expect to hear the sound of him falling through the floor into the -- um -- soup below?
no
Not really. The crap doesn't go in the floor, it goes directly under the bench you sit on. Most outhouse have a little hole on the back to drain the, um, soup.
I was expecting another racoon attack.
SOUP
Just say shit. Soup makes it sound even worse
"Either bad meat or good cheese."

@@jakobrasmussen1663 There's a Crunchberry under that fridge. Have we beaten this joke to death yet or do I need to fall through the floor a couple more times? Hehehehhehehehheheeh.

Fuck off Mr Enter.

Man it is night and day the jokes they told then compared to now. I laughed at almost all of these gags
yeah and they didn't drag them out forever to fill time
Yes, the best seasons were 1-9. Wierdly like the simpsons.
That’s old family guy for you
Never actually saw the early stuff until now... I actually liked it!
it boggles my mind that people still think newer family guy is better...the writing and the gags in the earlier seasons were superb

Peter’s description of the Deep South is so perfectly accurate
Lol no it’s not.
It’s more of a description of Detroit Michigan’s abandoned houses in the hood or Chicago’s
There's poor towns like that all over the US.
@@austinhernandez2716 There’s poor towns like this in every country

😂
And for some odd reason the outhouse has crap in it when most out houses are just a hole in the ground.

As someone from Byram, Mississippi, this ain’t that far from the truth
Do you own a banjo ? :-)
I'm from Oxford, and i definitely agree
Do you play banjo while listening to country music in front of ye house?

Well done mate you just quoted a video that I clearly saw
@big crunch Im joking... go vent your frustrations somewhere like a political channel... Nobody needs to be so worried about TFS making references-To a show that makes references...
1:21- Meg's scream gets me every time!
0:40 What's hilarious about this is that Peter actually has _everything_ to do with it! He walked up to the robber at the police station, told him Chris's full name, said he was responsible for IDing him as the robber, and gave him a photo of Chris that had his school schedule and a list of his fears written on the back 😂
That's Chris! He's my son 😃
Yeah, Lardo
NO cutaways, just jokes related to the situation they're in. Lois isn't an alcoholic klepto but a comforting mother; Brian isn't a liberal hypocrite, but a thoughtful intellectual. Classic Family Guy at its best.
cartoon comedy have gone off the rails since the late 00's. Just sad.
Yup. Back when McFarlane was running the show how he wanted it.

Back when they actually talked to each other as if they were voicing humans lmao now everything's so robotic now. The car argument was how humans genuinely talked. Not the shit we got today.
It’s more like ai communicating with each other by watching sociopathic behaviors
When people start waxing nostalgic for old “Family Guy” episodes I know the time for our species is short.
I normally don't understand such cynicism but I have to agree w/ you on that one. That's one of the main problems w/ the new show, they read the script like it's a day job, there's simply no passion or genuineness in it anymore.
@@michaelhall2709 Seasons 1-3 are genuinly good

Yeah. He sounds like Sonic XD
I was just about to say that
This shows how good the chemistry used to be between the family in earlier episodes
They actually felt like a real family back then. Now it’s just a bunch of dickheads and sociopaths who live under the same roof.

It just dawned on me that as far as I can remember, there were barely any cutaway gags at all in the entire episode. I recall just one about Peter at a job interview but that was it.

It made feel funny and pitty for Peter
Its in my racoon wounds!!! Hahahahahaha
Peter's last sentence and the bird impact are spot on comedic timing. It's not shown to avoid being graphic, and hearing the splash and leaving everything to the viewer to process, realize and imagine what's happening makes it funnier, although I'm not sure why it works like that. Anyhow old Family Guy absolutely knew how to tell a good joke.
If it was modern Family Guy Peter would have probably crashed through the wood with shit and blood all over him because of course some wood splinters got drilled through his eyes and throat or something. And then he would cry and suffocate for a minute to drag out the time until the end of the episode. God, modern Family Guy is such trash and it saddens me.
Watch that part in slow motion.
That’s one strong bird
Good god Family Guy basically lives in Mississippi from the way it sounds. 😂
