This is just textbook stuff that CB is doing here that ever coach covets. Notice the angle his knees are edged towards the rim from that corner side ready for the ball. You can’t ask for anything more. First team all rookie from this play alone.
this kid play like old school this is very rare now , he use pure strength no cross over or fancy move , just go straight to the basket with full power
Such a fun player to watch 🔥🔥 CB gonna be in the league for a long time 💯 his game is so well rounded especially for a Rookie there’s nothing that he can’t do on the court
He is the 5th player in history to win an NCAA championship and NBA championship back to back. Also one of the few players to be a high school state champion, an NCAA champion, and an NBA champion.
My fav NBA player ATM. I'm a Longtime Kansas Jayhawks fan. One most entertaining players ever watch play gm. Hes no Kirk Hinrich...but he's halfway there.
@danieltaylor9459 Hayward is a good athlete with a 35.5 inch vertical. Braun is much quicker than Hayward and has a 42 inch vertical. So if he can develop his offensive skills like Hayward, he will be a dangerous player.
It's very possible that the announcers are so illiterate that they have never read of, or heard of, Eve [thanks to pjmmccann for correcting my spelling, it's Eva, not Eve] Braun or Werner von Braun. Otherwise they would know how to pronounce Christian Braun's last name.
Just saying "brown" is a lot closer to the German pronunciation than the hilarious "brawn" that some have been suggesting. And if you're going to slag off someone's "illiteracy" it might be a good idea to spell Ev*a* Braun's name correctly.
@@pjmmccann You are correct about Eva's spelling. Thank you! And instead of using. the word "illiterate" I might have used the word "inconsiderate". I respect languages and cultures. My family's original surname was MÜLLER, four generations ago. When the name became anglicized as Miller it was easier to type; American typewriters do not usually have an umlauted M.
@@DAVIDMILLER-nc9vo Good to hear! Have a great day, sir :-) And yeah, those pesky umlauts can be pretty painful to type, particularly on machines running Windows.
Yeah his name is definitely Braun as in “brawn”, it’s not the commentators though, him and his family claim it’s pronounced “brown”, the commentators all use to say it correctly. Their grandparents probably started pronouncing it the Anglo way and telling everyone it’s pronounced “brown” after WWII due to the stigma because it’s a German name and then they all kept saying it that way but it’s for sure Braun. It was the surname of the Austrian painters girlfriend too so even more stigma.
This is similar to two pronunciations of Berlin; bur-LHN Germany, and BUR-lyn, (town) Ohio, so I understand the reasons why some desire unorthodox pronunciations. The USA was at war with Germany twice in the last century, and the good people of Berlin, Ohio wanted to distance themselves from Germany. One way was to change the pronunciation of their town. I cannot blame them. @@FearTheIndoorHorseRancher
Making a Playoff Rotation on a Finals team as a Rookie speaks volumes.
This guy is going to be a very valuable player for Denver going forward.
That first highlight is great man. Way to space the floor, CB! 😅
Ikr I was so happy when they drafted him! Happy they gave the man minutes
Umm. Thats not Christian..
@@weege001 that's the joke!

Denver's young core gonna be a dynasty for years to come
Guy is special. Will be a superstar mark words. He has great awareness and anticipation on top of physical abilities
Don’t know about superstar, but will develop into a good starter!
@@timboslice8559 hope he will push out from starters that terrible MPJ
This kids has the speed of a cheetah, strength of a buffalo, determination of a lion…and a tremendous basketball IQ

I like how he makes quick decisions

He's awesome and exciting to watch.
He just got his first ring 💍

Amazing video
Let's go Denver Nuggets let win a NBA championship 🏆.
That 1st highlight😂
Ya. Intern needs to be fired
@@weege001 nah its all good a different clip just got caught up in the video. I don't think if really matters
CB IS A NUGGET 101%
My man’s is nice. Gonna avg 15 5 n 5 soon watch
Yep...Braun gets his mins? He will average (16.6ppg/6.7rpg)
His block on Beasley was a potential block of the year for the NBA, and it's noticably absent
I was looking for that play smh
Other than the first clip this video was fire
Love this kid...he also won 3 highschool bball titles
He reminds me of an athletic Gordon Hayward. He definitely has the potential. He has to work on his ball handles and shooting more.
An athletic Gordon Hayward?
Gordon Hayward was incredibly athletic before his ankle injury.
Don't you remember all the posters & chase down blocks?
Don’t ever disrespect Gordon Hayward like that pre ankle injury
Gordon was athletic before he had a damn near career ending injury
Hayward STILL is/ and was outrageously athletic before his injury
The man posterized Giannis twice…in one game

I remember watching christian braun in college basketball with the jayhawks
Now they have Gradey Dick coming into the NBA as a 1 & done Lottery player.
Kansas is churning out these ice cold white boys like crazy.
Hope for National team.
How many times did Braun assist Brown and vice versa this season?
B&B baby!!!!
Hoops like a young Marcus Smart, jrue holiday type guard
3 rings in high school, a college ring and a NBA ring right away
FIBA and Olympic gold soon, hopefully.
@@kurosan0079 he will play against jokic so...
First clip was the wrong Braun... I believe that was Bruce Brown.
Do y'all think that if Denver play him for forty minutes he will shine like the star he is ?
Leave a comment and tell me what you think.🎉
They need him to play more
no need for rush, he will be a starter next season instead of MPJ
what a rookie. INCREDIBLE
had to do a double take on the first play. good one.
kid really sees the floor well.
One things for sure Denver ain’t going anywhere even with losing Brown.
This child is a combination of larry and jerry west 😊
No block on Beasley
what mario hezonja was supposed to be
Now denver has manu like player
Everyone who greenlighted this video needs to be fired. First clip IS NOT Christian
Yep. I bet they ran a bot to pull every clip where the announcers said "Brown" and it slipped through the editors ...

His name is Braun, not Brown. The pronunciation is different. The announcers should learn phonics. This is a case of the "dumbing down".
