- I am opening 12 retail multi-pack cellos (1 full box) of 2021/22 Panini Prizm Basketball for our next sports card pack break/product review! These packs retail in the $15 range but currently resell in the $25-30 range. Each cello contains a 12-card pack and a 3-card bonus Red White and Blue Prizm pack (every box contains 12 cellos). That cello box had to be a couple hundred dollars and i don’t see a card worth more than 10 buck in the recap. I agree the cards are cool but not worth the money. In my opinion at least.

It’s not just retail….. ppl mostly men are spending way to much money getting there selves in debt, losing complete focus! The hobby has a dark side am it’s really unfortunate
Not all about the money. Most people have real jobs and do this for the fun not a job. It's about the pulls.
The good thing about these is that if you wait for awhile, the prices go way down. I've been able to get cellos for 50% off buy 2 get one free. If you can do that, they are definitely worth it.

I bought a box of these from my LCS a couple days ago and did really quite well. Purple pulsars are definitely in I hit a josh Christopher/35 and a blue 75th Giddey also silver Mobley. Good box and confirmed pulsar

Your card collection must be mind bogglingly insane. I open maybe a quarter of the boxes that you do, and I have more issues than Playboy has issues with the organization of them. Your videos never disappoint and are much appreciated.👍

For the cost of this box that was a shocking pull tbh. Love your videos but I would cry if I spent this money and only pulled this
I got quite a few of these packs for Prizm 2021-22. Honestly if you took my stack of "best" pulls then the space they took up to store on my property costs more money than they were worth 🙃.
I stopped buying boxes of cards long time ago unless I'm at a flea market or estate sale where they're not going need me to use a mortgage payment for a 20 card pack .
Idk that's rough. Pretty sure you could put all of those in a lot on eBay and be lucky to get $80 bucks back.. seems like retail has become a lot more risk than reward
Every product in this "hobby" is more risk than reward... doesn't matter if it's hobby or retail... you're almost always losing.
If the value of the cards inside was greater than the price the boxes sell for, Panini would just open them their selves and sell the singles. They certainly aren't handing out $ that could be theirs.
I’ve been considering going after these cello boxes as they’re much cheaper than multiple blasters or hobby obviously, but I don’t think I will after watching this video. Need more guaranteed value out of the box.
At least guarantee one pulsar or something per box and I’d be all over it.

My favorite year for Red White and Blue Prizm was 2014-15, when I would be able to get $9.99 cellos with ease as a kid, and they would have a pulsar pattern!

So I have pulled 5 75th blues and only 3 of the other 75th mistake insert, in 15 retail blasters.(since nothing else has come out ) I think they are far rarer than the price indicates
I actually kinda like the red white blue this year. Cade would look pretty good with those colors

I agree about the design of the rwb parallel. I think 2018 was the peak of that parallel. There were some other good designs even earlier too, but I like the 2018 the best. 2019- they’re pretty meh.
RWB new design is too nice i like it. No auto for the cello 😔 RC still good hits.

Yes you can. And I mainly buy on IG and eBay for online stuff
You’ll have to get ahold of a couple target retail boxes. Pretty high ceiling

Retail packs (4 cards / gravity?) from Target have Base Prizm Pink Pulsars numbered to 42 / Rookie Penmanship and a bunch of other stuff. Way better stuff to pull than the super watered down Prizm NFL retail products

I bought 3 of these packs from Target and got a Cade Cunningham Red/White/Blue Prizm!!! No scratches or print lines and perfect centering (3's top/bot & L/R). Not bad for $45.

I enjoy opening packs but at the same time I want my cards to have value in the future. What can you recommend me to buy? Btw, my budget was no greater than $500 per box.
Totally agree that you should be able to pull an auto or an SP in the Red White and Blue packs. Cellos may be decent value, but boy are they boring. 🥱 If the purple pulsars are in there that def helps though.
Yea never hurts to add a chase! The pulsars are a big step in the right direction!

I don’t unfortunately outside of the regular emails they provide. I got a response once from calling after a while but other than that, I get most of my stuff traded in at the national. I’d keep trying to email but it could be a long wait
