Following the launch of NANOQ S, the NANOQ R will launch in May. A slightly larger size (16L vs 11L). Which would you choose?! Smallest size possible found here on the S, or slightly larger for extended cooling & GPU compatibility? Either way, as soon as the R version lands you’ll see it on the channel 😎 Exciting times for Thor Zone.
@@Gamber63 absolutely not. It requires time, patience and hardware planning, but the rewards are well worth it. A solid 8.5/10 - but would be more like a 7/10 with custom length PSU cables.
That is good, helpful advice! Building PC’s every week gives me more confidence to execute my own practices like this, but it is better if you’re not so experienced to insert the CPU first ✌️
You are the only content creator to have done it proper in this new case, aesthetically speaking. Great choice in component selection and perfectly executed. Thank you! 👍👍👍
I think one of the things I most enjoy in your videos is how they highlight the design of the products. There are probably teams of people working to design cases like this and your videos showcase that hard work.
This is actually true, we mined the steel in Asgard before being escorted out by Thor himself, luckily enough for us we had gathered enough steel for roughly 500 units.
When the motherboard was installed at 5:06, I was thinking "huh? is that going to fit?!" and just kept watching thinking that there was something I didn't know about the case. Looks like I was on the right track lol
can see that u spent alot of time and effort in the video making💪 Thor Zone should appoint u to be their authorized youtuber and let u video their products going forward👍😉
That’s quite a statement! 😁 Truthfully, I absolutely LOVE working with visually interesting products as they drive my filmmaking enthusiasm harder (not that I need it mind haha) This project was actually pulled in very last minute and I barely slept for several back to back days to make sure I slotted it into my workflow. Nothing lost however, I loved every second of it 🫶
Apart of the satisfaction that this build gives and looks and everything esthetics.. this will have a lot of throttle in heat.. I have build a rig on Fractal Nano S and it was a disaster managing the heat... don't rush on these cases if you want a behemoth for gaming or editing...!! Peace..!!
Nice small case build. Liked that you kept the cooler height mistake in, good to know for other builders. Wonder what the noise was wihtout the the dust filters installed. I definitely would go for the slightly larger one as to give one more component options.
Beautifully shot. My only concern would be the mash of cables blocking good air flow to any crucial areas. Also, could not tell how high off the ground the case is with those little rubber feet. The bottom fans would work much better if the clearance is adequate. I imagine a single stand in the middle with a thin bottom plate that would make the unit look like it's floating an inch or two off the ground. Over all, this is a beautiful case imo. Does it come in a white, brushed metal combo?
It's a very cool build, but the red lighting behind the grill reminds me of a 1970s 3 bar fire. That said, every time I see a video like this, I wish I'd gone ITX on my build. This looks so damn nice.
I've been looking forward to this ITX case and it seems even higher-quality than I thought. However even higer-priced than I thought for my budget, I mean, that is just due to Japanese yen weakness.
Ive watched several videos of yours, but I have to know - is this the actual path of airflow demonstrated by smoke/fog machine, or is this a computer simulation? These videos are insane.
Dude you are an artist, @netflix should f. hire you! And amazing niche the mini-atx build, I'm searching for something new. On the current video it's a pity that you didn't post the temps man ....
Quite an interesting case, although a USB-C connector could be placed directly on the central element, longitudinally below/above the ON/OFF button. I would consider that a missed opportunity. Let's hope the rather "Swedish" price comes with Swedish quality as well. From this video, you can see that everything is superlative. 👏
It wouldn’t technically be possible… that entire front section is one solid piece of metal… thickness and all. It also doubles up as the power button which means it moves (and a fan can be installed behind it). The idea of having a USB-C port is welcomed for sure, but I really don’t know how it could be best implemented without taking away from the design language and functionality.
@@Mr_Matt_Lee At the moment when I want to make my first mITX PC I am between this and the FD Terra. At first, I was tempted to make my own case but these two changed my mind, honestly.
Love the build but I've got a question about the CPU guard. Do you need to tighten the screws in any order or is it the same as tightening the screws on a CPU cooler?
The Case is 319 Euros, with handles and lightrays 380. Paying extra for good itx stuff is perfectly fine for me but with a price tag of over 300 Euros it’s an easy „No“ for me
Idle - 26c, under load whilst gaming and light productivity - average 47c, max momentary spike 75c (that was pushing it quite hard though) 😊 sorry, I forgot to include those details this time around
I was liking all of his content but I realize that there is something lacking on his content, that is the performance of his build... Please put some performance test of your build in the future
I think when you compare it to other cases in the ‘premium’ category then it’s priced well and suitably relative to the quality of materials and attention to detail 😊
I stopped making the noise level shots because most cases and fans were always around a similar level. I may bring it back in future for more specific builds such as this one 😊

So in terms of build difficulty, what lvl u gotta rate with this one, certainly not an ez one by the look of it
@@Gamber63 absolutely not. It requires time, patience and hardware planning, but the rewards are well worth it. A solid 8.5/10 - but would be more like a 7/10 with custom length PSU cables.
I would buy the R, since it can fit a 240-280mm AIO and a larger GPU. When you do the build on it you should get the wood grill option.
I'll be there. I'm falling in love with small builds 🤩
Really nice have the money but not the skill 😂
My goodness… that shot from 5:02 is too damn good 😍
I spent an absolute AGE capturing that shot. So stoked you appreciated it! 😎
@@Mr_Matt_Lee your effort in making that shot is very much appreciated ❤️ top tier quality content as always bro!
that is an awesome shot indeed

1 of best and cleanest mini ITX build i've seen. Nicely Done!
I’d agree! There’s nothing I’d change really. Have an awesome week! 🙌
3:07 for safety, please guys always first insert the cpu, then remove the ihs.
You don't want to drop a screw on the pins

The NCR Ranger background hits hard. Such a sweet build
Well spotted! Love that wallpaper and totally suits the vibe 😁 glad you enjoyed it
That's a hella good looking toaster!! Nice build!

100% true!
Case is amazing!!!
14600k is mistake... overheating and throttling 100%.
12600 or 13500 best choice.
Or change to an AMD-System.....
Watch hardware canucks, am5 is also a challenge to cool. @@svensp5277
beautiful! I love it!
The need for a cooler change really brings home the authentic SFF build experience. *chef's kiss*
Definitely looks like it is made from Asgardian Steel. Even has that iconic thump at 0:40 like Thor's Hammer
This is actually true, we mined the steel in Asgard before being escorted out by Thor himself, luckily enough for us we had gathered enough steel for roughly 500 units.
Yay a cpu contact frame!!! Beautiful build sir!

Giving sith/empire/sake Vader vibes
Actually, Vader was hired as an external design consultant in the initial design phase.
you still could've used a Noctua, the NH-L91. unless the substitute was already in stock
Excellent video as always! Would you ever work on any of the MCPRUE Apollo cases? I think the ITX case would be cool to see.
133k sub is incredible
1 subscriber or 1 million, just pleased to have a loyal following regardless 🙌
I feel like even with the 14600k some heavy undervolting and power limiting is going to be needed to keep it under control.
Beautifully case, think I like it more than the terra
Your videos a therapeutic😅. Any way could you also post some temps under load for this setup.. I want to build the exact same thing 😊
Needs to priced similar to the Fractal Terra - both same size, but this look better.
Do one for the FormD T1 next :D
Looks great. Did you consider any front intake fans? Looks like a bit of the smoke came out where the power button is.
