No words can describe this. 3 million! Oldsmobile has its day. My father was a Oldsmobile man all his life . My older brother brought a 1970 442, he still has it. I bought a 1970 F85 W31 . I still have it . People don’t even know what a w31 is anymore. Oldsmobile should have never been finished off like that.
Hard to think that dad, always an Oldsmobile man (and mechanic) could actually AFFORD this car. And be wearing a suit to do it, no "baseball" cap allowed.
I put Rocket 350 out of a 72 Cutlass and my 73 GMC El Caminos Sprint special it had positive track rear end. It would smoke the tires until you let off the gas exclamation mark
I believe Homer LeGasey was the principal designer for the exterior of the F-88 concept oldsmobile . Homer was also unique in that he is one of only 3 designers that worked at GM,Chrysler, and Ford Design.
I remember watching this live on TV, this do not do it justice
That whole day was INSANE
Bucket list for me. Want to go to Scottsdale just to walk around and see all the cool stuff they have.
We hope to see you at an auction soon!
